Not a lot of people seem to know Christopher Frayling, but I could listen for hours to him. He is a very good film critic, which shouldn't be surprising since he loves Leone and Eastwood films!
perhaps one of the best political films of the " Spaghetti Western " genre. music was tantalizing. acting was superb! scenery was breathtaking! script was written superbly! I first saw this film in 1980 on ABC. Did not see it again until 1987 on TNT. I first bought the video. then the soundtrack and finally the DVD version. rest in piece Sergio and Ennio. great memories!
i am a great fan of Sergio, this is the most average movie, sure Sergio was not happy with the studio. he should have left it walked way. Thank god he made America. i read your book sorry this is sad.

Agreed! Sadly, he hasn't done many DVD commentaries, and there isn't much of him here on RUclips.
