Frayling’s got it! He loves the film, and the director, enough to lay out the greater meanings an ultimate movie making of Leone . This is a wonderful movie. It provides the adventure while portraying the unexpected depths of human relationships to politics, the struggle and meaning of life, of family, of friendship, in a slightly cynical but sympathetically authentic, heartbreaking way, all the while done through wonderful pictures, camera movement, and timing. Add Morricone to the mix and you have, dare I say it? ART! Can you feel it?

Good, informative doc.. Oddly, when I saw this movie at the age of 10, in Houston, Tx., the title indeed was "Duck You Sucker!" The film was held over for 3 weeks and I went to the theater every Sat. for the matinee', where I sat thru two showings. It was not until the film was released for television did I first hear the title of "A Fist Full of Dynamite!" The film captivated me, even at that early age, and the sound track was spectacular!

I wish we could see the complete director's cut that was previewed in NYC several years ago with many scenes added back. Truly one of the great Trilogies in Cinema: Once Upon A Time In The West, Once Upon A Time..The Revolution, and Once Upon A Time in America.

Yup I would love to see the scenes where Juan and his gang force John to walk through the desert and Dr. Villega is tortured by günther Ruiz.

Wallach will be all right here but to substitute Coburn by Eastwood means to spoil the film completely. James Coburn with his laconic presence, provocatively sarcastic humour is the best choice.

It's interesting to compare Juan Miranda to 'Don't Turn the Other Cheek's Max Lozoya, the character that Wallach got instead of Juan Miranda.

It's a barebones version of "March of the Beggars" by Ennio Morricone.

Eastwood and Eli doing this movie would have been awesome, bringing back GBU a bit.

I'd have preferred Wallach and Robards as an alternate pairing for this movie; nonetheless, I personally find Steiger and Coburn to be perfect for this movie.

A cigar and a poncho. But that was what he was meant to be in the Dollars.
