@@willworkforliberty I won't mess with no other grill but WEBER. We had a all stainless Steel Kitchenaide grill with all the bells and whistles, and the thing cost us $799 about 9 years ago. Well, looks are very deceiving, because the grill was doing its thing grilling and the damn bottom of the firebox just collapsed, and it collapsed on to the propane tank below. Good thing I had a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, and I ran like Superman to get it and saved our backyard. On visual inspection I notice the tiny spot welds that hold up the bottom of the firebox melted off, and I called Kitchenaide and told them about it , and took grill back to Lowes and after having it over warranty, and they refunded me my money, and we eventually got ourselves a WEBER, and I will never look back and getting anything else. One thing that I did was researched why are folks buying Webers, because to get that side burner your maying close to $1000, and we paid $899 + being a Veteran, Lowes took off 10% which was real cool. I looked at the firebox of the Weber and realized its a cast aluminum firebox with no welding. Thinking about that kind of design, theres is no worry for the firebox to melt off any welds because there are no welds to melt off. Our Weber is the Genesis 3 burner plus side burner, she lights up no issues at all and we since added a Flat Top Griddle for it plus a genuine Weber Grill Cover. The flat Top Grill surface is nice, I don't have to worry about grease dripping to the flames and bottom because the stainless steel grill has a built in grease channel.

You call that a grease fire? I had flames 12 inches high and couldn’t get close to it due to the heat.

I'm sorry you're disappointed. I can assure you the flames were much higher! It took me a minute or so to get the camera out and record it. By then the flames had come down significantly.
