PJ ain’t letting that RS6 pass him by!…. You don’t see many over in the US. But it’s great to see Americans appreciating a good ole Estate! (Aka Wagon) 😂
Well done Pembroke Pines Audi. Letting Matt film on the premises and interview your tech PJ was awesome. What a great way to engage with the public and free advertising. It goes a long way to promote the Audi brand compared to other competitors. Good job guys! Greetings from the UK.
This 100% - I get it's tricky to endorse something like this, a YT kid so far from your brand, but it's important because in the UK, Audi really isn't appealing to the younger generation. Its intimidating and expensive. They may not be able to afford now, but you're building a brand for that generation eventually.
I actually learned at Audi and Worked at Audi. Even PJ has some sympathy, the break job he did is unacceptable for a Workshop LET alone a official Audi Dealership. The Wheel Hub was full of rust, it has to be properly grinded with a rust remover pad, then some rust converter and lastly the cleaned and sealed area needs to be slightly lubricated with Ceramic paste. The Brake Caliper ALWAYS needs to come off, doing otherwise will likely twist or tilt the fresh brake disc, also the piston needs to be cleaned and afterwards its really important to flush and add new brake fluid. If this work would be done in Germany it would be completely unacceptable and every customer would be able to get a refund and get the job done properly. I have NEVER NEVER seen this bad brake job on any car, not even in the lousiest and cheapest unexperienced garage. But this is a damn certified Audi dealership AND a damn RS6 !!! WTF? If i would do this even once when i was working at a Audi, they would either fire me or sue me for something like this.
Hi Matt, I wanted to express my thanks. My father has been suffering from a terminal lung condition since lockdown 4 years ago (Pulmonary Fibrosis). His condition deteriorated slowly and eventually he needed constant oxygen at home. He continued to enjoy life particularly car related stuff. Every week he and I would watch your channel. He loved you, your dad, your team and all your adventures. Your shows became a focus for spending time together watching something we both enjoyed. Sadly last week was the last show we will watch together. I am very grateful for the good times you created for us and the happiness you gave to my dad in his final years. Thank you Matt.
Pj was a cool dude , all garages need a nice cheerful guy like him working for them it would make the whole car/ garage experience so much more enjoyable. Glad the cars fixed Matt it’s been a pain in the arse lol
Love your work Matt. Just want to give a shout-out to your camera guy. Such a big part of the beauty of your videos. Always so dynamic, yet then still with perfect framing, great way of using pans and walk in zooms, interesting angles, always where the action is, it's all so perfect. Looks easy, but requires such talent, feel and technique. Pure gold, that guy is.
Pembrooke Pines Audi of Florida killed it here, just sublime like no other dealer, they surely chose their most charismatic knowledgable tech for this hard assignment, PJ knocked it out the ballpark. The man has amazing attitude and is a natural on camera. What a joy to watch this episode full of amazing chemistry between superb human beings
Only found you recently, but proper enjoy your vids man, your personality and pure passion for what you do, plus the lovely bond you have with your old man is beautiful to see
It’s nice to see an American dealer be so welcoming and understanding. … Not the service Mat has always been shown in the past. I did notice them all standing around the car! You know it’s something special, when none of the very own Audi tech they have recognises the car! 😂 I bet they were all like “BRUH!!” I’ve never seen that happen! 🤷🏻♂️👌😁
Gotta love PJ, he’s so open about the Audi cars. Love the story with this car. Keep it coming Matt. Always positive, one of the best channels on RUclips.
By far my favorite car that’s ever been created, was awesome seeing you guys work on it. Was awesome seeing how the adjustments are made to the car instead of just showing a before and after.
Absolutely love the relationship between you and Freddy!!! God to see when two genuinely good human beings are brought together. This is truly the spirit of 'car guys'.
Matt, you came out of that one with the loose ground/positive connector! I love Freddie’s sense of humor after the proof of him leaving the cable loose, he’s such a great guy and not to forget your dad, what a pat on the back! I truly enjoy watching you guys!
The journey you took me on with car. DUDE. What an epic journey, it aged me a year in an hours times. FANTASTIC. For what it's worth from an over the hill ford parts changer. You reminded me what we are capable of with perseverance and a big bank account. Good stuff. Thank you for this. May God bless and keep you in all you do. I tip my hat to you and your team.
Absolutely my favorite build, Matt and company. And to have you finish the series by having the dealer take a look at your work was a great way to put the final touch on your project. Bravo and thanks so much for all your RUclips content that brings me hours of pleasure. Would love to see more of PJ on any future Audi projects, he was great!
Oh man, what a journey that was with this car... for me the best playlist of your fixes so far! Can´t imagine how frustrating it must have been at some points... I am quite sure that I might have given up after the second engine pull... I truely admire the passion and will of you and your supporters around you! Keep doing what you do, and never give up! Matt this is such an amazing channel as I have said numerous times. You and your Dad and friends are simply awesome to watch. Enjoy every second with your Dad!!!!!
Fellas, what an insane rebuild. I was glued the whole time! Tony came in HUGE finding that hose though, I truly felt that was a tipping point. Awesome stuff guys! I’m working through the rest of the playlists now. Also loved the Aston Martin and the GT3 rebuild.
Tony is so joyful everything he touches or does becomes intersting & fun to watch...He literally radiates happines and it would be a joy for anyone to have him around, No matter the situation, good or bad! Matt is very lucky to have such a beautiful dad! Great job Guys & cheers from Montreal, Camada
Amazing lesson in this (and the previous) video. Sometimes it's the simplest things that mess up. Like a simple connection in both these video's.. My GSXR600 kept stalling and suddenly didn't start at all anymore. Turned out it had no fuel. And it had no fuel without me noticing, because of the simple fact the LED in the dash for the fuel light was broken. I took half the motorcycle apart and tested for example the fuel sensor just to find that out. Needless to say I left it like that and just fuelled up every so many miles. That being said, as an electrical engineer, I can say that if you lose voltage somewhere it will mostly be a bad connection / connection with high resistance somewhere (U=I*R, so if I stays the same and U drops, there has to be a high R somewhere). Because almost everything is fused in a car, if it would be a short circuit strong enough to cause a voltage drop (as in the battery would not be able to maintain voltage), the fuse would most probably break AND you would not see 12V on the battery and 9V somewhere else. If it is localized like that it should be a high resistance connection. Even if you can not find a nut that is loose. Try removing some connections and clean them best you can and put them back. This is what happens by itself most often when you take it apart and put it back and it works suddenly. The contacts clean themselves because of the friction from working on it. (This is also why you should always be just as thorough on GND connections as you are on the +).
3:45 IM SO HAPPY THAT EVEN THE TECHS FEEL OUR PAIN, ive wanted to get my hands on a c7 EU center console and swap it out so my start and volume knobs would be on the drivers side
