Got the opportunity form the guys at Lunker Hunt to test of the new dragonfly, compact frog and prop series lures.
Made a review of what I liked about them and got some footage of the baits in action!

Just bought the prop fish. Last week. Looks like a lure that I can fish on top of the grass and moss. Weedless is key. To making this Lunkerhunt work. Up till now. The Whopper Plopper has been King. Can't wait till spring and use it during prespawn and spawn. The Bluegill color is going to be awesome. Don't have Shad in places I fish. This lure can do all. Shawn.

I personally would like to see you make the cast.. work the product, regardless of whether you catch the fish or not... just my thought to making it more entertaining and more reason to buy the item(s).

Trevor Soety I truly understand.. that was my point whether you catch them or not is really not the issue... it's the viewing of the action of the bait that you are presenting in your videos.

I know this is years old..
But! I'm wanting to try all of the lunkerhut propbaits. But my budget just isn't there to get them as of yet.
I'm only 2 yrs back into the game... And building tackle is still going on.
I like frogs, and prop baits..not sure why. But I like them and have age alot of luck to with top water and suspended lures.
So hopefully I can get good enough and lunkerhut will send me some to run thru the ringer.

I agree with you about the weight, I was a little worried too. I used a spin set up and they loved it. Do the same and you should have some luck! Tight Lines Man !
I've caught 25 to 30 bass with the prop frog all but 3 or 4 i caught with the trailor hook

Well now I have a dilemma! I went out and fished the prop frog and after 6 casts the legs stopped turning! $8 is a lot of money for me on retirement to have something like this happen! Do you have any suggestions Trevor?
As far as the other two products that you introduce on your video, there is no problem with them. I enjoy throwing those. I just believe the prop frogs though are a gimmick.

John Cammer I had the same issues happen to me but it was because I had a really thin piece of grass get caught in one leg. Maybe try drying it out and spinning the legs and make sure there is nothing causing friction.

I just picked up the turtle they made for the prop series yesturday wish they sent you one of those. Would live to here what ppl think about it.. Ive tried looki g it up on youtube and have only found 2 vids on it. If u coumd id love to here what you think about it and if possible maybe some footage if you get a chance to try it. I hate the prop frog the legs get in the way of hookups. I lost 6 fish in a row. Then I threw on a $2 frog and caught that same bass

So far all the reviews I've seen for the dragon fly on RUclips has had one main problem, they don't last long. For the price vs the durability, to me isn't worth it.
Compact frog "change the game"? idk man, Looks like a basic pad crashing frog to me.
Just my opinion my man, try one out maybe and see the difference :)
You need to get a better rod dude! A Berkley, Lightning Rod?!?!? Spend some cash on a decent rod, you'll thank yourself!

I use the Lightning rods & for the $ they are great. Very durable & easily replaceable should something stupid happen. Check my bass vids, every rod rod is a Berkley & never had an issue. A lot of those high $ dollar rods are crap & you're just paying for the name that's on it. Take that $ & buy more lures, cameras, etc.
I dunno dude. You can't seriously compare the quality of a Berkley rod to say a Kistler.
