I own one of these gets lots of hits. Got my 7lb pb off it last weekend. Hookup ratio is not great though.

I know this is an older video, but I was noticing when you were retrieving the frog, you did not really pause it on the way back. Now if you think of how a frog swims, it kicks along. I have personally never seen a frog swim that fast for so long. LOL I think a pause or two on the way back might help out some. Pause it near where the fish tried to get it the other times. Just a suggestion but nice work around those ponds and way to stay after them. I have just bought a Lunkerhunt Frog & Fish combo pack, and was looking to see them at work.

Took the prop frog out for smallies yesterday, had more strikes than I can count. Didn't get the hook in any of them. Haven't ruled it out for largemouth on the lake yet. I'll go back for smallies with a buzzbait or popper, and lose the weedless advantage. It's still early spring coming up on the end of April, and the smallies are smashing top water.
I bought those frogs a few years ago and the best way I found to retrieve it was rip...rip...pause..rip..rip..rip..pause, etc
Picked on up other day , still trying to figure out how to get it thru the weeds without bringing half the bay in its feet. Sprayed the legs with WD-40 and improved the wake.
Can that frog be walked? Seems like the practice of walking versus just a straight retrieve is preferred - especially over relatively open water. Would have liked to see the frogs walking abilities in the video and/or more video footage of closer up of the frog being retrieved to see more precisely the action generated in the water based on the type of retrieve.

What month box did you get that in? I've been getting the MTB pro box since July and haven't gotten a lunkerhunt prop series bait. I got the 3 piece combo with the frog and 2 fish at Walmart. I've been disappointed with MTB and shopkarls, screwed up something in 3 out of 3 orders and last month my November Pro box had 2 of the same crankbaits but didn't put it in my LiveTarget crankbait. I've been liking Monsterbass way better since I started the subscriptions at the same time.
Just bought one today and a blue gill swim bait as well
I love them very fun i just got the bluegill one yesterday got to try it out ..i did how ever have to bend the top hooks out just a little

Dont be afraid to pop it a little more in-between reeling it through clear water!

I have this frog, but haven't used it yet. I have a bunch of frogs but never have any luck on them. Any tips?
My suggestion....try the Teckel Sprinker...action is nice and caught some nice lunkers...haven't landed a monster on the Lunkerhunt yet...I like the Spro Frogs too!
I think when it comes to frog fishing it’s all about where you are. I’m in Florida and the bass crush it all year long. I can’t get a swim bait bass to save my life though.

Spawning late there...JK! Was cool to see some action on this frog... I have the Tekel Sprinker and still haven't caught a fish on it. Might try one of these, because I'm addicted to that top water blow up! Sub'd
Need to be using braided line
I agree but my dilemma is why use braid when it works great for really just top water frogging then 90% of the time using other lures flouro is much better. I got 2 rods (bait/spinning) and sadly I don't really have enough rods to just keep a braid rod for frogging.

the rod you are using with that reel is meant for a spinning reel not a baitcaster
