LunkerHunt Prop Frog Review | Does It Work?

- in this video I review the Lunkerhunt Prop Frog. the fishing was not the best but i believe it had nothing to do with the quality of the lure. the prop frog has its pros and cons as any lure would, but i do recommend it! it has 2 props on each leg which make it a loud top water lure!

Great review video. I saw this lure at the shop this past week and almost bought it, I think I'll pick one up. Lots of vegetation this year so looking for solutions. Keep up the great work.
Its definitely a good lure, just not as productive in heavy vegetation
Right off the bat, beautiful videography Jag. Nice job. LunkerHunt has definitely come out with some innovative baits but a lot of them tend to catch the fisherman more than the fish… at least they’ve caught me several times..hahaha. I love frog fishing but in my mind a Buzzbait will always get a better hookup ratio than a frog but the trailer hook on this frog is a big help. Good stuff buddy good to see you out and about.

Haha they definitely caught me quite a lot too haha. This is a killer lure in the right body of water. If i used it on ooen water i think it would be an absolute game changer
Can I ask a question I have last year's egg sacks left over from steelhead fishing can I use them or do I need to buy fresh one for this year to fish
I would just check and see what shape theyre in. Ive had some that looked fresh after 2 years🤷♂️...... but to air on the side of caition u can always go fresh

This frog is the BOMB! Monster hit and caught fish first time I used it.
Thanks for the idea on the trailer hook, after seeing it on the lunker hunt, I tied a trailer on my whopper frog, can't wait to go try it out!

question about salmon river... what lures can you use/get away with, what are the regulations on them also?
You can use any lure you like, no treble hooks. And make sure the distance between a hooks shaft and point does not exceed 1/2 inch. And no weighted hooks. ie. Jig heads
Awesome video like always, not sure if you heard but the first salmon was caught last night around 6 pm. Won't be long before they are in the river can't wait

The prop and grass being tangled was a great note! I watched this after fishing one today and the tall grass near the surface will get grabbed by the props and will either wrap the feet together or will stall one foot causing the frog to spin on retrieve >.< but fish short strike this alot. And the foot gets stuck alot :D but I love this prop it's fun when you want top lure
I agree it definitely is a fun and good lure but not as good in heavy vegitation as i would like it to be

I wish lure review videos showed the action of the lures they review more. Nothing worse than buying a lure for a specific strategy and the action is not the one needed
