This is awesome! I’m just starting to use waves superrack performer myself. Could you do a video showing your setup, how you use it and what plugins have worked for you?
Looks like RUclips recommended a video from a company that likely bought my old Turbo subs (I recognize the carts). What are the odds? lol. Sounds great!
This is just the stock card and only 2-3 channels. I'm only using it to help with vocals. I have not pushed superrack performer past this. Someone who has inears is really freaked out by the latency. So you have to have your own channel out front and another on stage for your performers. Thanks for watching and being in the comments. Let me know if you want to see more on this.
@@DCAVL yea just USB with super rack. Still trying to figure out the routing sucks you can only run them in blocks of 8 What channels are you running are you hearing audible latency at FOH if you have it running on kick / snare ect ? I’m at like 64 bit rate
@@SposaKitchens To answer your block routing thing. If you set your blocks to the "User" one you can go into patch point and choose the ins an out there that way you can do separate patching from USB or AES or Local
I think that sound engineer (as a type) is both gifted and cursed by the neccesity of being able to work with all kinds of artists and all variety of genres. Especially nowadays, when music became functional, in contrast to the creativity in terms of establishing something really new. How do you experience enjoying music after you finish your work? Does your routine somehow affect your taste or habit? Maybe you tend to minimize the presence of music at all? :D
I much prefer the Midas & X32 systems over Yamaha. The Yamaha desks are just the biggest pain to deal with (and I literally grew up learning on a MG32/14FX). I also saw one guy using X-Edit on a touchscreen to get some more slick control when using the X32.
The new Yamaha stuff is not that bad. I don't mind the TF series. I just had to do a show on a TF Rack. I used the editor app just like the X-Edit. Sometimes I like pulling up X-Edit just to have a larger screen or a touchscreen to make things smoother. Offline editing is awesome.

Dude you got it. I'll set it up at the next show this weekend and get a video out for you.

That snare tone rips!
Yes it does! My pa really likes those frequencies so that helps. I might like too much snare sometimes. Thanks for watching and being in the comments!
What is the brand of the angled mic stand at 1:07 ? I have seen those at a chris young concert earlier this year
I spy a Hercules MS401B Transformer Tilt Base Microphone Stand. Thanks for watching and being in the comments.
Does the F6 have a "safe" function so that you can't accidently solo a band while having the system running live?
To this day I still do not know. We will have to find out.
What card are you using on the Midas with waves ? And which channels are you running ? How’s latency?

@@DCAVL great stuff man! I'm using waves almost on every channel on my M32 and just split voc mics on the empty channels for the IEM's
@@djfreesoul What is your setup? I'm thinking about investing a little more into waves. Thanks for watching and being in the comments!

The subwoofers are not placed very smart.
What would you want them in the center & cardioid?
