    WavesAudio, you guys interview so many amazing FOH engineers, always about plugins, but I wish they'd interview and so videos on their step by step of setting EQ in Live settings.

      These interviews seems to be marketing of plugins.

    You are a great FOH sound engineer,I will like to get a little tutorial from ur experience how to round my sound with Eq on my drums on X32-Mixer,

    I like how his speaking mic sounds. Is there phase cancellation on low frequencies? I like how P,B,T are all mid freq still there is a presence of lows on A,O,E. This can't be just multiband compression. Any advice?

    I Love your videos! I get a lot of information and ideas from them. I have a question.... What kind of camera did you use on this video? It has a nice neutral color to it, alone with the film look.

    I wonder if you get some noticable latency running those plugins from the laptop?

    • @chariotsofezekiel
      @chariotsofezekiel 5 лет назад +1

      He gets basically 0ms latency because he's running the Waves plugins from the Soundgrid server instead of the laptop. It's a super efficient system!

    I think that this tent can affect what you hear very much.

      mateyko555 you would be amazed, how much wet gear affects what you hear :)

    • @jordanthurt
      @jordanthurt 3 года назад

      We usually get rid of the tents for show time. But as long as the tent isn't too thick and you aren't too deep into it, it really doesn't affect much.

    with the vocal rider why not just use a gate?

    • @YuriSamson
      @YuriSamson 5 лет назад

      Winship Live Music I believe the vocal rider can act as a gate as well as a compressor and limiter depending with how you set it. He probably needed it to do more than just gating but also probably to amplify some softer notes and tame some louder ones. Just my thought.

      I saw your comment before I saw that part in the video, but when i saw it I had the same reaction... But hey.. I'm not mixing Chris Tomlin every night. This guy obviously knows something we don't.

      if you loose the rider you need to compress, bringing all the stage noise up.
