@0:58 my churches first digital board was/is a soundcraft si3+. i first learned on the yamaha m300a 56ch analog board they had before that, what a beast.
I’m not an audio Engineer I just make backing tracks and I used to judge Reaper too! without giving it a chance, now I like it even though my main one is Ableton live!

The Freezing frame problem is probably for fear of legal repercussions, for defamation, by the companies mentioned that we don't hear about. If he bad mouths a big company they might start or, at least, threaten legal remedy for any bad press. They might not have a good case but they can absorb the costs that would ensue, whereas, it could be a big deal for someone, at a certain level, who earns a living, wholly or partly fron RUclips.
Galaxy Nanospot for the tech talkback bus. The logo lights up when it receives audio, so it kinda acts like a blazon when we talk to each other, but not as messy as dragging around a comm system.

Probably to start and stop recording on the computer so he doesn't need to use mouse/keyboard etc.

Lol, who uses a mon engineer in 2024, we use our own app and Ipad so we can do our own in ear mix or mon mix............analog period is over.
