such a great interview with one of the GOATS of the drum tech biz, I've learned a lot from him over the years!!
I love the behind-the- band tech stuff! Thanks
A big thank you from sweden 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awesome Bro keep up the good work 🥁
That’s what I’m trying to do. I love the drums. I play the drums. I’m a stagehand and get to work with drums. I’ve worked with most everyone you’ve interviewed. One day I’ll be a tech
I miss Brent's videos from Gibraltar. Glad he's back from the hiadeus
Stop asking questions and then trying to answer yourself!!
I’m just out here trying my best. Sorry it’s not up to par for you. I’m still learning. If you feel like you can do it better you should definitely go out there and do it.
@@ThisIsDeLaCruz it was a good interview... don't listen to the haters.
@ 🙏🙏🙏
@ThisIsDeLaCruz if you take the time to do all this, then you should try to improve. Asking a question and then answering yourself makes it ackward, you literally cut off the drum tech a few times. Telling me that I should go do it if I think I can do it better is immature and stupid.
@thousandwattflowerpot5419 I'm not a hater, he needs to just ask a question and wait for the drum tech answer. Then he can follow up with his own thing.
Michael is the best in the biz! 🙌🏼🥁🙏🏼
Dude knows his shit!
Hiya MM❤ How is little Betty? Hope you are well, Penny and Steve xx
Great episodio
🙏
@@ThisIsDeLaCruz support from Puerto Rico
@@Gerardo-qk3ed thank you for the support!!
What a top bloke
MM is the master drum tech and i was lucky enough to have him tech for me during the recording of the last album i did with my former band. Great guy too!!! (Thanks again buddy)
Very cool!
That's awesome, I've been a huge fan of MotoXXX for so many years watching Twitch and Scummy back in the day and the rest of the Metal Mulisha crew.
Great interview! Michaels the man!
Agreed!! 🐐
Watching 2 drum GODS all the time..blessed right there…that’s it man right place right time for sure…DW all the way…I’m a drum tech for a band,Smaller than his bands hahaha, but I take pics of the drumset and where everything goes,All the settings on his mixer, keep things clean and tight (not to tight),keep a key, gaff and duct tape always on hand, don’t forget to put out set lists if that’s your job as well…( I did that live on mtv one time hahah)and keep the drummer happy…that’s my drum tech tips
dw is shit 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮

That’s my boy right there!
And Russo is an AWESOME freaking drummer too!!
Mike is amazing
You should just call your Instagram segment, "What is this?"
🤣😂🤣
Blair is a great guy and engineer. Dope interview!
Kaleo, one of the best concert I have ever heard. Audio and mix was so clean, I could eat of of it
25:00 It's an unfortunate reality that finding people who care is where we have set the bar. So many people want to show up and collect a paycheck, but to really thrive in this industry you need to love what you are doing.
Jesus is Lord, love this!
It’s too cold out a DI box stuff out and come straight out of the action system, but look at my giant rack, analogue gear hypocrite
Absolutely ridiculous go back to the studio man all you’re trying to do is build a studio out there on the road and this is what’s gone wrong with the live sound today is every studio guy is out on the road because they don’t know how to deal just stupid and ridiculous
The one and only snapascrew!
I once seen Blair wrestling little people
Blair is the best!
10:57 the sequence of him jinxing the equipment made me laugh out loud hahahah
You're starting out stories are amazing.
Glad you like them! Thanks for being a fan!
Thanks for mentioning church sound techs. I’m a volunteer sound tech at my church, I love it.
I’m a bass player in a church and my sound guy has zero to do with my monitors. I and I alone control my monitors with the CCapp. Look into it, it’s SO nice to be able to change levels on the fly.
@ we aren’t that high tech yet…we just run everything from our Presonus 24 channel board
I got about 5% of that but I find it insanely fascinating to watch talented people just doing the job off-stage. Thanks
Love it!
Thanks!!
OIART amazing school in London Ontario, my hometown
What are the nearfield speakers on the mixer there for? Could you maybe ask a tech who has that set up in a future interview?
I've mixed back in the 80's in studio. It doesn't come down to knowledge, rather than feeling you have with the music as the '5th musician'. And nowadays, if the system tech did a bad job, the FOH engineer is lost...
25:41 😂
Nice production on this vid!

36:50 god damn....for one moment i thought Madonna shows up
Thank you for having him explain the signal chian I appreciate that... I work on a yamaha ls9-32. I will try implementing some of this now. Not sure what I can and can't do on that board but I'll have a goal now. Thank you.
What a dope dude!
Okay so now I have a new set of speakers I need to design with a front and rear firing woofer
