You are correct to a point. But they also wouldn't notice an Epiphone Les Paul vs Gibson, But it's all those little things that all add up to make big differences especially when you're at this level. It IS a much better sounding console. Even going from an x32 to a Midas M32, I hate to say it doesn't sound better because then I could save money, but it just literally does.
What is it with triggers for gates. You gate get the awesome gates to work on that console. I work with a front house guy couldn’t figure out how to work the gates on his Digo. He wanted to put triggers on everything and he was running stuff in and out of my monitor consul of his front of fucking house consul. It was a fucking nightmare what? What what’s wrong with you guys man
I found Pintech's as sidechain gate triggers gaffed to drum shells are far more generous than microphones. Its super simple and repeatable. We only do this for FOH - not monitors. Ha - there are many things wrong with me for sure so thats true.
The trigger only opens the gate. So it's not opening falsely and you don't have to chase gate thresholds around all gig, they just do their job better.
I ran FOH for Cody Johnson Band at the Liberty County Rodeo in the early 2000s, it's crazy how things have changed.
13:17 This question is something I've been trying to get my head round since stepping up to these bigger style shows. Thank you!
Diggin his openness - can tell he's super down to earth
Fantastic interview!
Another great one Nick. Thank you.
Great video sir! Thank you
Real country don't use tracks. Well done!
i don"t think audience would hear the difference between x32 and quantum 335 but he still have one......same for the outboard....
