    Maybe lookup some RCF 515 (or speakers of that sort) 2 pcs. Layed out horizontally (horn is turnable), (you can stand on them). Tilted Slightly (~15⁰) upward by some piece of wood or rubber, to cover the front area.
    The Speakers have a 50x100⁰ coverage.
    So you should be able to eleminate Feedback in the vertical Domain, when Stageborder is exceeded by artist.

      I do feel better about them being on the deck rather then flown center stage. Being able to rotate the horn is a great idea!

    Id take two spare Nexo's and just set them up on top of the subs for front fills. I am a firm believer in not using downfills flown from above for this purpose, as not only does that put the sound localization far above the people's heads but it also means that box is going to have to work much harder to achieve the same SPL that a front fill placed on top of the subs/stage would. If you've got at least two spare Nexo boxes, you'd be in good shape for coverage.

      You also won't have to deal with any potential feedback issues from having a center fill with a steep angle flown from above, as you've mentioned concern about in another comment below.

    • @FOHFILMS
      @FOHFILMS 7 месяцев назад

      You might have to have some way of propping the boxes up so they're not firing at people's torsos, though

      I was leaning to your idea in my head. Might 3d print a part or cut wood to tilt the nexo's up so they don't hit people in the body. Thanks for watching dude, I will get this project going.

      @@DCAVL Nice! Do you have at least one extra channel on the nexo processor to run them?

      @@FOHFILMS I have two I think so I am good on that. I just have to know how to change all the settings on that output.

    How many decibels were you getting there at 12:00? Mix sounded really good! and the MTL-1x's are great!

      Only 90-92 and that surprised me. I was really trying to keep things low so we don't run anyone out at the first show of the year. We have some good 80's tribute stuff that comes in and they just get loud. Thanks for watching!

    Don’t know the pattern of the spare Nexo’s you have or the trim height, but I was gonna suggest maybe one under the tv horizontally?

    • @DCAVL
      @DCAVL  7 месяцев назад +1

      I want to do that, but I know my artist all step out into that area. Making me question if I'm good enough to deal with the possible issues hot mics infront of a pa. Thanks for watching!!

      @@DCAVL you got this. Maybe put it on a matrix so you can grab it quickly?

    Hi, I had a question. Do you guys use the Chamsys quickq 30 for lighting? I am thinking about buying one for quite a small venue, is it a good console? We want to use it both for music shows and theatre shows. What are your thoughts about it?

    • @DCAVL
      @DCAVL  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes we use them a lot. They work great. Very easy to use. I install them in small music venues and churches all over Indiana. They have a lot of fixture profiles built in ready to go for you. Ipad app if you need to walk around and test your system.

      If youre on a lift above 6 ft in most place you have to wear a body harness.My buddy got caught by OSHA not wearing one and got smacked with a $850 dollar fine.

    I’ve always like nexo rigs. Typical dad band: good bass, guitar, and vocal ruined by a drummer playing wipeout in every song

      Yeah.. Playing in a tin shed with no acoustic treatment, with in-ears blatantly bashing away like he’s playing a stadium show. I would run away from that show after the first snare hit/ cymbal bashing.
