Yes, what matters in the end is the brain matter. The Filipinos use it to good effect. Equipment? it's just a material to be used. Rewmmber when the filipinos defended Korea with just 1,000 men against the Chinese with 40,000 men? Who won? The Filipinos of course

The reason why the drill instructors are so tough on the soldiers in that this is a special forces group (Scout Rangers). Special Forces take on the most dangerous missions. They have to be the best.

You paused it at the wrong time during the night training (with the drum bath). The documentary was saying what happens during that night training was top secret and so was not shown on the documentary. In case you're wondering, they were undergoing blind drowning torture inside those drums filled with water. They probably also experienced "dry drowning" torture training among other forms of torture during that period. Also, at that end part, they explain that the training doesn't end there and the final test is that they have to be actually deployed in a real mission. If they survive an actual mission that is only when they will be considered "passers" and the training ends and they get their badges. Those soldiers at the end being given honors are trainees from the previous batch who have just come back alive from an actual mission, and the trainees you just watched are deployed in exchange for their return.

Hahah.!!! React also sir, Philippines Gilas VS. Australia brawl / FIBA world Cup 2019
They are made to endure this hardship so if by chance that they were taken as POW, they wont squeal any info to enemy forces.
From what I know, the chillies were called "military wine".. Even ROTC cadets drink that after reception..
the swallowing of chopped up chili is a sort of tradition here , its more of a "Friendlier" way of Initiation to the group than hazing of fraterities found in communities, gangs & colleges.
i also experienced this in college/ university students who also undergo ROTC training, specifically for the Officer trainees, its more on the mental fortitude building part
Dude it is not a sacrifice that you think in the last part of the video. That student died during the battle, it is part of their training in ranger course. They cannot graduate or finish the course without engaging the real enemy.
They can live and fight everywhere you wanna fight them..
I've always watch your reaction here in the Philippines am so honored please could you react to the Philippines special force SOCOM documentary thank you and God blessed 😇 Mabuhay✌️💪🇵🇭
No mercy in training because the final training to graduate is the so called test mission ...it a real combat, real war vs enemies of state, it was life and death after all
May Godbless my country Philippines ❤️
The first part is only screening test who can really survive the unsurvivable. They want only the toughest. If you are weak dont go for this. This recruits came from different institution of military and carefully selected.
in the scene where they are drowning, it is as if in case the opponent drowns them they can handle it
Thats how we train.train hard or die trying
That normal here, to measure the determination of a soldier.
Love the video! Hope u could do a review on “navsog” or the Philippine navy seals and the LRR “light reaction regiment” or the Philippine delta squad of the Philippine army :)
ranger lead the way....
HI im from the Philippines and love your videos , alot , but anyway I have a suggestion to make , can you please remove your background music like the drum (im not sure) if you're already reacting or the video you are going to react is already playing for the immersion and so that I can feel your reaction towards the video,,,,, but stilllll love the videos , keep up the good work................Ganbari
The one who died got killed in battle. Before they graduate, they are sent to real gun battles with real rebels and insurgents. If they are lucky and applied all their trainings, they will survive and come back to graduate....
take it one day at a time. slow is smooth, smooth is fast..
