Nag Ashwin has did a good job in researching the crux for this film. Actually that research has paid off in every scene of the film, not only because the producer is related to him. Watched the malayalam version in Munich Germany.. Same opinion it may have its flaws but ultimate movie experience, hope its the beginning of epic story telling from India. Intro establishes the conviction of the director and then even silly scenes don't affect you as you know you are in for a treat.... From interval block onwards its 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 India is ready to make Mahabharata. Learn from this and make something that trumps LOTR and the whole lot from Hollywood. Just a spoonful of content from mahabharata is enough to create this spectacle, the possibilities are limitless
First half he should cut short a little bit. Prabhas intro and other scenes of him in the first half should have been reduced. Whole movie's skeleton is Amitabh, just loved his screen presence. Prabha's transition was good. If they edited first half sensibly the movie can be considered as awesome.

Yeh The story and idea was another level and i will go see the second part for sure .... As a person who grew up hearing and reading about mahabharatham karnan was my favorite and there is a gap in our heart for him, so obviously i can't stop myself from watching any part coming after this. A lot of scenes gave me goosebumps and the visual and fight where nice and when ever deepika,amitab sobana, anna ben, kamalahasan .....like these serious characters came it was soo thrilling oh, i loved the child actress too but................................................................................................ The malayalam dubbing was the worst in funny parts 😭All the part with prabhas and his cringy jokes and the robot friend of his, felt like hell i just wanted to go out on some points ,yeh it depend on persons the joke parts where not my cup of tea ....But sadly half of the film was filled with this sad silly jokes and god know what. Maybe it's the problem with dubbing, I don't know...... And as you said the music was just okay.... The thing is the idea is so amazing , the whole team is very talented, The vfx was one of the best so i felt it could have been better if they just excluded the silly joke part and just stick into the serious tone. Watched the malayalam version in Munich Germany.. Same opinion it may have its flaws but ultimate movie experience, hope its the beginning of epic story telling from India. Intro establishes the conviction of the director and then even silly scenes don't affect you as you know you are in for a treat.... From interval block onwards its 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

First half he should cut short a little bit. Prabhas intro and other scenes of him in the first half should have been reduced. Whole movie's skeleton is Amitabh, just loved his screen presence. Prabha's transition was good. If they edited first half sensibly the movie can be considered as awesome.

Yeh The story and idea was another level and i will go see the second part for sure ....
As a person who grew up hearing and reading about mahabharatham karnan was my favorite and there is a gap in our heart for him, so obviously i can't stop myself from watching any part coming after this.
A lot of scenes gave me goosebumps and the visual and fight where nice and when ever deepika,amitab sobana, anna ben, kamalahasan .....like these serious characters came it was soo thrilling oh, i loved the child actress too but................................................................................................
The malayalam dubbing was the worst in funny parts 😭All the part with prabhas and his cringy jokes and the robot friend of his, felt like hell i just wanted to go out on some points ,yeh it depend on persons the joke parts where not my cup of tea ....But sadly half of the film was filled with this sad silly jokes and god know what. Maybe it's the problem with dubbing, I don't know......
And as you said the music was just okay....
The thing is the idea is so amazing , the whole team is very talented, The vfx was one of the best
so i felt it could have been better if they just excluded the silly joke part and just stick into the serious tone.
Just my opinion......
