I’m convinced Sony doesn’t care how bad the movies are or how terrible the ideas are as long as they keep the rights for Spider-Man they’re fine with it
The whole situation around the Spider-Man rights has me so conflicted because I'm rooting for the huge media company that already has way more IP's than they should
The funny thing about the whole "no Spider-Man" issue is that even if Sony wouldn't add a Peter, they would've literally add one of the other many spider people they STILL have the full rights to like Silk, Scarlet Spider/Ben Rilley or even Spider-Woman who is even apparently getting a movie at some point. There was NO real need to keep their universe spider-less, but they did it anyway.
Dude seriously, the amount of effort put into this video is outstanding. This was so entertaining man honestly, I was shocked to look at your sub count and views. Great work man keep it up
Eddie Brock deserves better. He tried to do the right thing at the first movie, and gets the worst punishment for it. And hardly any consultation at the end.
Great video on the full aspect of Sony’s handling of Spider-Man’s characters. Great editing, and overall a good perspective of each of these movies. Let there be Carnage really is the only one I would rewatch out of them.
What you said at around 11:10 - speaking about the first Venom movie that you had a feeling that something was "missing" from the movie. That is the exact feeling I had while walking out of the theater when I saw Venom. It felt like I had just watched half a movie. Something was definitely missing.
Now that The Last Dance is out I can stop caring about this trash fire of a Cinematic Universe. Legit, the Venom trilogy and Moribus(Just for the meme factor) are the only films I either like or remeber.
50:00 *_Venom: The Last Dance_* has a plot completely different from what was originally reported. Personally, I enjoyed the movie, and it mainly sets up Knull to possibly cross over into the MCU along with Venom.
Morbius got more cheers when he appeared in a edited post credits scene I threw into a movie I made and debuted in cinemas for my friends than it did when I saw the ACTUAL movie in a (somehow) full theatre screen. Just a pile of crap. GREAT video though, dude. Massively fun watch start to finish.
Morbius conceptually sounds like it could be interesting but it was executed horribly. Madame Web was not good conceptually and makes Morbius look like the Dark Knight.
Should Sony sell all the Marvel rights to Disney already. Imagine every single Spiderman characters adapted in the MCU? Would it be more comic book accurate?
26:42 I hate this movie because I have been a fan of morbius ever sience I watched him in the 90's tv show when I was like 4 years old and I always thought he was underrated because not many people knew him Now they know him, but as a freaking joke and that pisses me off so much Morbius is a really good villian with a lot of potential and THEY RUINED HIM
But all of you silly gooses really needed to watch that Venom movie in 2018 because "He is AcKcHyUaLLy an anti-hero" and "There is more to Venom than being a Spider-man villain". 🙄
And yet, we live in a world that is controlled by leafy paper, are and are greatly inhabited by a species that’s even more so than what you’re saying here
Kevin is not Marvel Jesus for your information since he's more of the opposite for not in the very end to one of the projects that we're going to be possibly bad, Sony is going to lose the rights one way or another since they can't keep this up for long
35:25 Just no. I hated Madame Web but Across the Spiderverse is the worst Spiderman focused movie ever. Its side manned the main character (Miles because I know some people are going to think I meant Peter even though multiple Spidermen have existed for years but Miles gets this weird he's not spiderman treatment) and did nothing for like an hour of run time before a brief multiverse tussle and then the movie just said this will happen in the sequel because I guess it happened in the comics. Madame Web being awful at least made sense because no one cares about Madame Web like out of all Spiderman characters why did she get a film. Across the Spiderverse is terrible because it misses read what we wanted and that was to see MILES do Spiderman stuff and not the queer baiting of Spider Gwen and that whole romance subplot that they didn't even bother to wrap up. Also why does this movie seem to hate Miles being Spiderman it just felt extremely wrong like here is a bunch of non-Peter Spiderman's but Miles is not supposed to be a Spiderman because.... Canon event bullshit? Not to mention the horrendous ending than made me completely uninterested in the next movie. Like if you want to kill all hope for a movie sequel to be good just have your movie randomly end right when it gets to be a real movie like Dune and Wicked and just have people wait years for the sequel to finish a story that could have easily have been in the first movie if the studio had any concept of how to make a film and not just a 2 and a half hour advertisement.
I edited this in 2 days. I'm going to sleep for a year now.
I’m convinced Sony doesn’t care how bad the movies are or how terrible the ideas are as long as they keep the rights for Spider-Man they’re fine with it
If on the other hands Sony Picture Animation still made Spider-Verse movies i think that sadly a nécessary sacrifice
The whole situation with Spider-Man rights is such a mess in my opinion that I just want it to end already.
The whole situation around the Spider-Man rights has me so conflicted because I'm rooting for the huge media company that already has way more IP's than they should
If we’re thinking the same huge media company, than yes I’m also rooting for them. They just need to get their act together.

I appreciate it! glad my work paid off!

I appreciate it! I agree, Let There Be Carnage is the only one I’d watch again.

now that venom 3 is out you should still do a video reviewing it and comparing it to the other venom movies if not the whole spumcverse
50:00 *_Venom: The Last Dance_* has a plot completely different from what was originally reported. Personally, I enjoyed the movie, and it mainly sets up Knull to possibly cross over into the MCU along with Venom.
Marvel should leave the standalone stuff to DC and try fixing their dying cinematic universe.
This venom trilogy follows so many 2000s movie tropes…thank you avi arad

"Kevin Fiegi, the real Marvel Jesus."
*- PizzaDad*
Tom Hardy and Jared Leto should have a new movie called venom versus Morbius
Nope, Jared Leto is a cr33p.
Morbius conceptually sounds like it could be interesting but it was executed horribly. Madame Web was not good conceptually and makes Morbius look like the Dark Knight.
Good video man. My ranking is:
1. Venom 3
2. Venom 2
3. Venom 1
4. Morbius
5. Madame Web
The gap between Venom and the other films are huge.
Should Sony sell all the Marvel rights to Disney already. Imagine every single Spiderman characters adapted in the MCU? Would it be more comic book accurate?
44:13 juice wrld rental sample being played in the background
Venom and Morbius need to have their own TV show
Damn, this channel is too underrated..

I love the Descendants reference in the title! 😂
If on the other hands Sony Picture Animation still made Spider-Verse movies i think that sadly a nécessary sacrifice
I think Timothée Chalamet would be a good Spider-Man for the universe
All the Sony movies since Spider-Man 3 have been mediocre at best.
Two words: Avi Arad
He is terrible and anything that did slightly good was despite him.
Watched because of great analysis, subscribed because of Tom DeLonge mention
But all of you silly gooses really needed to watch that Venom movie in 2018 because "He is AcKcHyUaLLy an anti-hero" and "There is more to Venom than being a Spider-man villain". 🙄

I liked Möbius

Knock knock let the devil in. Yeah Eminem flopped on the song?? Yeah right....😂😂😂
People really need to stop calling it sony's "spider-man" universe of there's no spider-man in it
Kevin feige is NOT marvel Jesus
Put some respect on Stan and Steve's name..
this is morbophobic propaganda
you're damn right it is
