This game was played and recorded in Songs of Syx version 65.
I generally post guides, battles and other content in Songs of Syx, which is a medieval fantasy colony sim and city-builder with grand strategy elements. You can transform a humble village into a city-state and/or form a vast empire. The combat is in an RTS style, similar to Total War. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam and has a FREE DEMO for you to try.

He basically is a Cretorian king who openly accepted a bunch of people who hates Cretorians and their lifestyle.

actually a very impressive and interesting little village, i might try to do something like this just for a challenge. seems fun but hellish in a fun way
I like the in universe story of a king razing a town because of how mad he is and then going "oh no everything is shit now, maybe I shouldn't have"
Huh, always wondered what it would take to run a multi-species city like this. Now I know my answer. And yeah, the world map is a bit of a blind spot for me too. Just recently started up an Amevias city (decidedly NOT multi-species) for v66 beta and learned really quickly how to raise an army considering I'm sandwiched between two big players that constantly bully me for stuff. Not sure what I need to ensure I win against one of them, so I guess I'll see what happens. Anyway, good video!
Make friends with one and fight the other, so you don't fight on two fronts :)

I've been playing since the beggining, but man this has been enlightening, I used to just allow 1-2 races to avoid all the problems, but I feel that I will challenge myself with a all-welcome city. Congrats on 1K!!

Have to say I have been watching this game from a distance and lack the balls or the inclination to dive in and play this game. However watching you rearrange this guys build was a great eye opener for any n00b. Great job man. I was looking for a game to use on my new pootube channel not sure if I could pull this off though. I find it super funny when one race likes another but one doesn’t like the other back what does that even mean gameplay wise
it means the guys that don't like the others are likely to commit crimes against them but the people that like others won't, if that makes sense.

A doubt I always had. To satisfy the food preferences completely, do we need all different preferential foods or just one of them is enough?
You would need them all, which is why Garthimis are easy to please in that regard and Humans are much harder.
You can probably get by with just one food type if you please them in every other regard though :)
I wonder if Callum knows about ctrl scrolling.
If my experience is any indication, probably not since it took me several hundred hours to realise its existence 😅

@@Campernicus If you are placing stuff inside a room ctrl+scroll changes the size like Q and E does. I find it a lot easier for items that have a lot of steps in its size. EDIT: just realized I might have been misunderstood. When I said scroll I meant scroll with the scroll wheel of the mouse, not scroll the map.
Oh, woops, I always use Q or E so I had no clue, haha
