Good story :D Now we need a heartfelt tale of a solitary cabbage child, born into a ravaged and abandoned colony, learning to read and write off of all the notes left by the previous colonists, until it stumbles upon all the drawn-up plans and schematics of the ship, and realises its parents have abandoned it. Then it goes on a quest to find (not build, for a change) a ship of its own, to chase the bastard parents. A revenge story, if you will ;D
Burk and Sequoia are a cute couple. They have plenty of common interests like training dryad companions, artillery ballistics, and consuming humanoid flesh. There was also that time Burk made her that comfy leather chair from the hide of infidels. What a sweetie.

Wow, did NOT expect you to have a physical form. It was fun to see a colony with these guys. I’ve seen them before and never really played with them, it seems like they can be really strong, and their main disadvantage is that you have to micromanage them a little.

I thought that was a thing and looked for it, maybe I just missed it but I'm not sure I have whichever mod that's from installed, fortifications or something I think.
I ALWAYS place my batteries randomly in little storage closets because I'm not about to have a zzzzt turn my wooden base into a bundle of ashes, and there's literally no benefit to creating a singular room that's packed to the gills with explosive electricals aside from the simplicity of building that singular room. Hell, if I could, I'd use the Z-levels mod and place my batteries in different levels to make sure that no two batteries are EVER near each other (the Z-levels mod changes the base game which functions only on the X and Y axes and adds the Z plane, meaning the game now functions as a three dimensional space and pawns can move up and down the Z axis which creates actual layers of height and depth like Dwarf Fortress)
so they develop tumours... so in theory you could make a "leader" who doesnt get these tumours. name him something like joe? give him cool apocalyptic armor. give him lots of colonists who develop tumours and have war boys? in rimworld!!
