Thanks James , appreciate the advise a lot , I had the nt-usb mini which is a very good mic , but it being a condenser mic and me travelling a lot I feel this is a good update! Best Regards
Hello, how do I connect 4 headphones to this unit? I noticed the back of the “Rode pod Mic usb”has a headphone jack, do I connect the four headphones directly to the road caster pro 2 with super long cables or do I connect them to the microphones? I have mics connected to Caster pro2 via XLR cables currently.
Ok dumb question but does the Podmic or SM7B have an on/off switch? I’m a newb that’s been using a Samson Q2U and I keep forgetting to turn the mic on. 🤦🏻♂️
Love the podmic usb not a fan of the price the original mic was a budget mic 200 dollars is not a budget mic, if I have to save up for a mic in the 200 -400 dollars range I'm going to buy the more expensive options like the sm7b or re20 the forever mics since I'm not buying on a budget anymore

My guess is A for the Podmic and B for the SM7B! Great review!
Brother your video quality is insane, and the review is even better thank you so much that was really helpful.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate that!
Awesome stuff bro love the new transitions and intro. The only thunder I heard was the knowledge you were bringing brother. Keep shining brother
🤣😂 thank you so much Ed!
I couldn't tell the difference between A and B listening via speakers. Seems like a great mic.
Would you recommend this for Rap vocals?
Yeah this would definitely work!

Can you make the Rode mic sound warmer and deeper like the Shure?
Yeah you could definitely give it some EQ love and shape it to sound more like that
As always, great review!
Thank you so much Nolan!
B is the Shure :)
Nice review. Did you compare the XLR vs USB to see what sounded better?
Unfortunately, no. I should have. Totally slipped my mind 😵
@@JamesYounger From the reviews I’ve watched it appears the USB gives a deeper tone. Which I like better. 😎
Excellent to see Yeti's seat being contested for

You'll definitely connect your headphones to the RODEcaster Pro

Hello, do you plan a second video testing the USB mode (vs the mv7)?
I think this mic is the answer from Rode to the Shure MV7: Same price range, double connection and softs added for multiple set up
did not hear any of your weather
nice video
You should have place the cover on the Rode Mic, just as the Shure has it. 😂😂😂
If someone is on a budget, could they use two pencil microphones to record audio for voice over.
great sounding mic for cheap
sounds pretty good

A is Rode.
