Hi Raf. Thanks to your review I ended up buying this amp and two LFEs. I've installed one LFE and still waiting for the second one. Tried running one LFE using BKA1000-P at 35 volume and watched a movie at lower than reference levels. Worked wonderfully, but I did notice that the amp got really hot (compared to my Rotel amp or Denon receiver). It sits on its own under a table with no enclosures on all sides and over a foot clearance on the top of the amp. Does your amp get hot as well? Just making sure that this is normal. Appreciate your thoughts on this.
Great to hear you got some. To be honest I don't check the amp temp. I even have It between components. No issues here. I wouldn't worry about It. And long as you have them wired properly your good to go. Enjoy the second one! 👍🏽🙂
Hi Raf thank you for this valuable information I have a question hope with your experience and knowledge you can help me out I just got 2 i beam vt200 transducers Du you think I can have 4 of the same connected to this BKA1000-p All appreciate your opinion thanks
Would you recommend if I already have a Behringer stereo amp and a miniDSP? Do you feel the shake from this amp is more natural compared to others? Not sure if this is tuned a specific way that makes it preferable to any other amp you can buy with comparable power. Thanks!
Hello Raf, Man I just pull the trigger on this amp. Due to your review of the Buttkicker. Wow What a Great amp All I can say is wow it rocks, if you really want put it through workout go to RUclips , hardest hitting subwoofer songs Vol.2 bassrain. It will put them Buttkicker to kicking
It's only got like 1,300 watts compared to the first one that was up nearly 2,000 watts. I know, I have it powering 2 buttkicker lfe's wired in parallel.
Man... I was actually hoping that you would show in step by step detail how you hook up all the wires from your buttkicker amp to your theatre sound system and subwoofer. I am still left guessing. "Set Up" videos should actually show the SET UP.
@@TheRafcave Well why not just make this an Audio Walkthrough then and rattle all of that off. You are missing the whole point of having a Video demonstrating a set up without actually showing it. Some of us are Visual Learners which is why we like to watch video demonstrations. This is missing the actual demonstration.
Great video. Very informative. Love the gear of War behind the TV. AWESOME!!
Thanks! Check out my tour video #16! 😉👍🏽
Did you end up keeping at 43 volume or at the 23 you started at?
35 now
Do you have any issues with your unit not going to sleep ?
At first. But it's working fine now. Turns on with bass, then shuts off after a bit. Make sure you don't have a ground loop somewhere in the signal.

The bka 1000 can handle 4 Buttkickers so I would say It could handle 4 others as well

I think the amp that was made for Buttkicker LFE is still the way to go.
Why would it only be read it down to 10 hurts when their LFE & advanced are rated to 5hz..
It's not a hard cut off, It still rolls down to 5hz

I did notice your D-BOX banners ! So you have dbox chairs also omg 😳 that’s very expensive.
😅 Naa bud It's just the D-Box signs I grabbed from the movie theater 😄👌🏾
Hey Raf, you think maybe at some point you might be reviewing the new Samsung oled?
I sent an email to Samsung asking to. 🤷🏽♂️🙏🏽
Good for you!
@@Palosrob Thanks. I'm not expecting a response thou. 😅

What's hard to figure out? AVR to amp with LFE cable, amp to Buttkicker with speaker wire.
