The Denon 3800 and newer Denons have support for 4 subwoofers and you can configure any of those subwoofer outputs as bass shakers.

That's Michael's voice after a heavy night of drinking and hangover the next day. 😂😜

Something like the Dayton Audio SA230 would be perfect for the Buttkicker Mini. The Mini requires a minimum of 50 watts, but will perform best with 200 to 250 watts of power.

In reality you still want a MiniDSP to get the most of it

I had some of those Aura “Interactor” vests/backpacks. It was a horrible experience so I ripped them apart. Tore out the transducers, screwed them to our floor in an apartment that had no one below us. We could feel it pretty good. For what it was not bad. Not great either. I think that was back in the 1990’s.

I use 2 buttkicker advanced to fill in the low tactile frequencies. I bought a used buttkicker amp to power both of them.
For an amp, just make sure you have a way to build in a cutoff. I used an old Yamaha AVR as the amp for a while but I didn't have a way to put in a cutoff so it was reproducing everything below 80hz, which was still fun, but a bit distracting.

I’m considering a pair of Crowson transducers (for my sofa) to mildly fill in room modes. I would love to hear feedback from anyone with Crowson experience. Thanks in advance.

I much prefer my Hovereze but if you want a cleaner looking out of the box look then crowson it is
Won't have as much performance as a Hovereze though

I use Crowsons under my couch. It is more than enough tactile response there. I use 200w class D amp by Rockville. As is, I keep the trim at about -3db. I use a mini DSP to time align with the other subs. I love their response.

@@TrueGenius enough is a matter of preferences. I have them in my living room because my wife does not want a platform there but the experience cannot touch my Hovereze in the theater room. It is 2nd best vs the Heze

I have four Dayton Audio BST-1 High Power Pro Tactile Bass Shaker 50 Watts one for each theater seat. They work great. two running in parallel for a 4 ohm load with a old Carver cube amp. I use a small electronic crossover as a low pass filter and volume control. I think mounting of the units is the biggest challenge. Would be nice of the seat manufactures set their seats up for them.

You have never experienced a proper Hovereze is you feel that way.
Hovereze is at the TOP of the food chain performance wise but if looking for out of the box then Crowsons is 2nd in performance
