Just a heads up, when you're eating a spell with the Banshees, it is a roll to beat the casting value of the spell, not what your opponent rolled. Also, for ever 4 banshees, you get +1 to that roll as well :)

Just wanted to thank Fletcher for the idea of painting the tomb banshee as a woman burned on the pyre! Been playing nighthaunt for a few years, but had zero interest in painting it until I saw that paint scheme. Imma gonna borrow that idea 😊
The freehand on the Spooky Horde is insane! I keep getting distracted by the little forlorn skulls in the Scriptor Mortis' lantern in the dice tray panel
Watching Beard'n Bard play reminds me of Thom Yorke dancing to 'Lotus Flower'

Great battle report, guys! Fletcher outdid himself with those gorgeous Nighthaunts. What they don't tell you is the Sword of Stolen Hours is stealing said hours from your equipment's battery-life. 😂
Holy cow, that was a blast to watch! You two are hilarious and were genuinely having a wonderful time! I love that you added little animations, text commentary, acting out little bits, and not taking yourselves too seriously. Just fantastic:)
Absolutely Amazing game but I think my favorite bit is the fact you guys used Beards screams as sound bits for the little shooting animation for the Banshee and stuff, got me everytime hahahaha. Like always the Hillarious and Quality Editing adds the Cherry on top of the already High Quality and Fun Battle Report! ~!GHOSTS!~

I'm just an WHFB/AoS pleb who despite attempts can't seem to get into and enjoy 40K so I'm happy to see the continued coverage and expansion of the AoS side.

Doing a great job with the AoS coverage. Always tough learning a new army, I imagine it’s doubly difficult on camera.
That ending with the Scriptor Mortis, like the scene out of Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Lord Imperetant, our debt is settled!

Absolutely amazing. Sigmar is so much and has amazing sculpts. The rules are clean and fun and you guys looked like you had an awesome time. With the new ghb out you guys have A LOT of stuff to play try test and have fun with. Easy sub. Keep the aos stuff coming please.
I love the Nighthaunts and Fletcher did an awesome job painting, as usual, you sir are insane! I am looking forward to the Black Coach! Storm Boys also lovely and James, please get rid of the purple dice, they are clearly jinxed!
I’m not sure that the scriptor mortis could have judged the lord imperator in turn 5. The rule is that the same soul cannot be judged more than once in the same battle. Beard judged that model in turn 4, so it may be that Beard would not have completed his grand strategy. I’m not sure that the lord imperator could have been listed in the book in the first place as it requires that the model to be listed be in line of sight. It was a great game as these are my two favorite factions in sigmar.
I thought the same and went to reread the description because that just seems broken if otherwise. But great battle none the less.

Great game regardless of tech issues. Nighthaunt are absolutely gorgeous. The ethereal blues and greens with the burning candles. So great! The finale was wonderful.
I think it was never actually mentioned on camera that the Knight of Shrouds was healing and gaining a wound after killing things with his Sword of Stolen Hours. Turn 4 Chef mentioned him healing and being on 8. I'm also not sure if the Spirit Hosts' ability to eat wounds for heroes was ever relevant, but it feels like it probably was for at least a chain lightning. Spooky ghosts have many tricks to keep track of.
They get very high-pitched and very animated when they get excited

Just a note on Beard's miscast, he can re-roll as miscast is on a unmodified roll fo 2. 1.5.5 - Rules that refer to an unmodified roll are referring to the dice roll after re-rolls have been made.
Beard was referring to using CP to reroll it ala 40k, hence "no you can't" 😅

Not sure if it’s been mentioned! But if you desecrate with a unit it can’t also contest an objective, it has to be one or the other as it’s treated in the same manner as an objective! Amazing production value, always wowed by the videos!

Rough. Scions of the Storm with Lord Imperatant and Annihilators and no way of putting reserve. Massive strategy kill. Stormcast army was hamstrung before the battle even began, pulling a draw was impressive.

They're a good army for starting the game. They have basically one strategy, run forward and smash the enemy before they smash you. Whole army can retreat and charge and fly and most of the important buff pieces can teleport. Movement and smash face.

@johnny wardlaw the only "must" for nighthaunt is magnetic storage. The models are very spindly and can catch and break if you go the foam or shoebox method. That being said they're also surprisingly sturdy even if some models wiggle a LOT on the base, they can take normal movement and painting just fine.
