DuduFilm classic two steps from Hell. Another great one would be for Savage Oppress and a bit of maul mixed in of course. Puppet by The Dreaming would fit pretty well. How they both were puppets of Dooku and The Emperor but eventually rebelled. I think the line about having life breathed into them fits Savage perfectly as life was literally breathed into him. “Living in your shadow Crushed underneath your thumb Has left me pale and hollow Dreaming of the Sun You may take control by Sucking all my hope away I must face the truth: You're the master - I'm the slave I am just your puppet on a string Dead until you breathe life into me I am just your puppet I am just your puppet Dead until you breathe life into me Tried to make me something Something I could never be Stripped me of my freedom Stripped me of identity 'Cause when I look inside me There's nothing left alive I don't exist without you So how can I survive? I am just your puppet on a string Dead until you breathe life into me I am just your puppet I am just your puppet Dead until you breathe life into me I am sick of my life hanging by a thread I want you to stay the fuck out of my head I am not your puppet on a string Dead until you breathe life into me I am not your puppet I am not your puppet on a string Dead until you breathe life into me...”
"I will continue to study at your feet, Master. I will learn from your wisdom, I will discover your secrets, unlocking them one by one until everything you know--all your knowledge and power--is mine. And once you are no longer of any use to me, I will destroy you." -Darth Zannah
The ideology of the Sith is hauntingly fascinating. It is simultaneously both selfish and selfless. Profound, and yet disturbingly perverse. When Bane taught Zannah, he taught her everything he knew, practically raised her, poured everything he had into her training. She was his ultimate triumph, his finest creation. And destined to kill him. As much as he feared death, as much as he craved power her triumph over him was his ultimate goal. Imagine a legacy like that. It is the desire of every parent that their child enjoy a better life than they did. That is how we measure progress. (Stinks to be a millennial, but never mind that for now). The Sith take that notion, that ultimate expression of love and care and pervert it into something shameful and odious. Its mesmerising and yet repulsive. Zannah relied on her hatred of her master to kill him, but I have no doubt that he loved her as a father loves a daughter. As an artist loves his masterpiece. As a scientist adores his last theory. And when a Sith turns away from the path, as many apprentices turned from their masters, as Sion turned from Traya, as Millennium turned from Cognus, I have no doubt that hurt them more than any physical pain they could inflict. Its horrible. Its evil. Its disgusting. Its hateful. Its *wrong*. To train someone the very best you could, to impart all your wisdom and all your knowledge, and everything you held dear into your successor, knowing they will kill you. To treat them with enough contempt that they hate you with every fibre of their being, and so become all the more powerful for it, and yet to make their accession the final act of your teaching. Its both a beautiful sacrifice and a revolting abomination of the relationship between student and teacher. Even parent and child. Master and apprentice. Lord and Heir. The strength of conviction. Its like a terrorist, standing on a hijacked ship or plane as it crashes and burns. Its repulsive and evil, but the strength of conviction, to believe so firmly that you give your life like a martyr is horrifying and astonishing. Its no wonder the Sith capture our imagination quite so well. Its to be reviled, but almost admired.
"Any master who instructs more than one apprentice in the ways of the dark side is a fool. In time, the apprentices will unite their strengths and overthrow the master. It is inevitable; axiomatic. That is why each Master must have only one student." Darth Revan's avatar to Darth Bane
"Choose someone as a successor and you will inevitably be succeeded. Choose someone hungrier and you will be devoured. Choose someone quicker and you won't dodge the blade at your back. Choose someone with more patience and you won't block the blade at your throat. Choose someone more devious and you'll hold the blade that kills you. Choose someone more clever and you'll never know your end. Despite these cautions, an apprentice is essential. A Master without an apprentice is a Master of nothing." ―Palpatine, as quoted in the Telos Holocron
😅 always kind of funny to think how big of a narcissist palpatine is, he never planned on dying so him putting his thoughts down in holocrons and books is just funny / indicative of how crazy he really was. Also I'm pretty sure this is all based on the teachings of Darth Revan and palps is just plagiarizing while making it sound good.
There’s actually something beautiful in the relationship between a sith master and apprentice. The original rule of two conceived by Darth Bane. Training an apprentice, knowing that if all went according to plan that one day they would become more powerful than you ever were and kill you. In a way a master sacrifices him or herself for the sake of the apprentice. It could even be seen as a form of love, a brutal, unconventional expression of love from master to apprentice.
About love, to Sith love might be the same as value. By example, its obvious Palpatine valued Maul much more than Dooku and Anakin combined in TPM. Palps originally intended Maul being his ultimate apprentice. He even called Maul a loss. If not, why would Palps trained and invested in Maul for so many years to throw him away? What you guys think?
The moment in a Master's life right before he dies at his Apprentice's hand has to be the closest thing Sith can experience to joy. It is superior to "love". It is superior to "loyalty". It is acknowledgement of a superior being, one against whom you have no power and whom you have trained to show no mercy. Crafted him thusly with your cruel tutelage. And the Master smiles because he knows his good pupil would not insult him by even conceiving of mercy. Only death for the weak and ascendancy for the superior. You have done well, my Apprentice... take thy place.
"Remember the first and only reality of the sith, their can only be two. And you are no longer my Apprentice you have been replaced." Darth Sidious to Maul
“You have become my…… RIVAL” -- Darth Sidious to this former Sith Assassin who never had the power or grasp to be a Sith Lord, let alone a Rival to what is God of the Dark Side
The ending really gets me, with Palpatine talking about ironic deaths and then "this is only the beginning", the Sith really are interesting and philosophy even more interesting to study
That betrayal is the goal of Sith existance. The sith do not feel fear as they die at their apprentice's hands only pride, and perhaps sadness that they will not see the great works of the one who surpassed them.
The Sith have come to expect that they will have to battle each other, especially if they train others in their ways. They expect the strongest to survive, even if it's not themselves. Palpatine knew that Vader wasn't loyal to him, he knew that Vader would take any opportunity to kill him. But he never knew that he would do so for the sake of his family... and just like that I now see the full irony; Anakin joined the dark side for a loved one, and Vader left the dark side for a loved one.
Oh, it's beautiful! I've always found the Rule of Two a fascinating paradox of trust and betrayal. You did a beautiful job capturing it's mentality here, even with as few words as you did. It's always great to see the shock on the faces of the masters surpassed by their students even though, in the case of the Rule of Two, it's exactly why the Apprentice was trained in the first place. I also love the parallel you drew to Kylo. In that moment he chose to forge a new future but failed to see that he was falling into the same trap as the Sith he wished to let die in the past. You always impress, which is amazing considering you've already got such high standards!!
The problem with the rule of two though is if a master dies before he can train his new apprentice properly or if they both die in the succession duel then the sith die with them. An order should always have contingency plans because you can always fail.
I think you could have used some lines from Darth Plagueis audiobook such as : "Then it is done. From this day forward, the truth of you, now and forever more, will be Sidious.", or "Tell me what you regard as your greatest strength, so I will know how best to undermine you; tell me of your greatest fear, so I will know which I must force you to face; tell me what you cherish most, so I will know what to take from you; and tell me what you crave, so that I might deny you…".
The master will find the apprentice, as a fool, a weak beast to train and teach and tame to his control. But when a weak man find power, he wants more, and the apprentice wait, learn from his master and his master. And when the time comes, the two will fight, until one is left to find a new apprentice to continue the circle.

Anakin surrendering to Sidious out of pure depression is the most sad thing in Star Wars History. This was the very moment where he still had something good in him. He still could take Sidious prisoner or kill him because he was the only Jedi in that Moment on the Planet that could hold against the dark Lord. In this Moment Anakin doomed the galaxy.
For all his extraordinary gifts and skill Anakin was easily manipulated. After his fall he knew he was never anything but another pawn in Sidious' machinations. Maybe no Sith learned the harsh lesson of the tenet "Tell me what you most desire, so I may deny you it" more than Vader.
Oh My God! You made Snoke sound cool and menacingly! I can't believe it! Abrams couldn't make him intresting villain, but you did! It is amasing! You are very talented.
I think Malgus is the only being that truly lived, understood and abide by the code. He was no longer a Sith but a true embodiment of the dark sides will.
The Force is strong in you. Amazing videos Master Dudu! Well put together: well paced with great build of intensity; deep exploration of the lore; impressive editing and all round a brilliant comp. Well done!
Incredible work Dudufilm. Every video you make is awesome. The force is strong with you. Not sure if you'll see this comment, but I would love to see a video on starkiller. He's one of my favourite star wars characters.
This video is raw, and when u watch it, you literally and truly, can feel the power and nature of the Sith as you watch it. It gives me goose bumps everytime. The best Starwars fan tributes, "Dudu" Undisputed.
On another note, I had my sister watch it, and as we where watching she just said "dam" I said you "feel that too huh" she said"h!#÷ yeah". RAW UNTAMED POWER!
1:23 I love that. Expecially since Vader (full Vader, not the robo-Vader) & Sidious duo is virtually unbeatable, only *maybe!* challanged by Luke & Vitiate. Also what's the music used for this one? EDIT. for all those that wonder, it's (the music) Imperatorix Mundi

The sith want to see the universe get stronger, the jedi want to keep it in chains, is there any doubt about who is the true evil?

darth bane learned that idea from his holocron and made that idea a Rule.

This is amazing, as per usual!
Never stop what you do! Never!
Love you and your content!
Oh My God! You made Snoke sound cool and menacingly! I can't believe it! Abrams couldn't make him intresting villain, but you did! It is amasing! You are very talented.
“You Shall be Known as Darth Dudu!”
Bravo, you never cease to amaze me with your grand work.
These just keep getting better and better.
I think Malgus is the only being that truly lived, understood and abide by the code. He was no longer a Sith but a true embodiment of the dark sides will.
This was a masterpiece
ends with a meme

A surprise, to be sure. But a welcome one.
The Force is strong in you. Amazing videos Master Dudu! Well put together: well paced with great build of intensity; deep exploration of the lore; impressive editing and all round a brilliant comp. Well done!

Superb editing!
This video is raw, and when u watch it, you literally and truly, can feel the power and nature of the Sith as you watch it. It gives me goose bumps everytime. The best Starwars fan tributes, "Dudu" Undisputed.

Another amazing video, well done dudu
1:23 I love that.
Expecially since Vader (full Vader, not the robo-Vader) & Sidious duo is virtually unbeatable, only *maybe!* challanged by Luke & Vitiate.
Also what's the music used for this one? EDIT. for all those that wonder, it's (the music) Imperatorix Mundi
Love all your dark side videos. Keep it up man.
