This video is amazing tribute to Darth Malgus. A quote I like to leave it here of our favorite Sith Lord. "Our time has come. For three hundred years, we prepared. We grew stronger. While you rested in your cradle of power, believing your people were safe and protected. You were trusted to lead the Republic but you were deceived, as our powers of the Dark Side have blinded you. You assumed no force could challenge you and now… finally, we have returned." ―Sith Lord Darth Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant
“I have seen a vision of the future, a galaxy in flames! The fire will light the way for the strong and when the galaxy is in flames, power will be yours, if you are willing to burn!” Undoubtedly one of the best quotes in all of Star Wars! I do not know if this was intentional or not but that quote perfectly summarizes the path of Anakin (somewhat). “A galaxy in flames” can be interpreted as the Clone wars. “The fire will light the way for the strong” This can be interpreted as the ones who managed to live through the fires of war during the clone wars. Those who were weak died and those who were strong like Obi-Wan and Yoda managed to survive. (Does not matter if one was on the losing side or not, as ultimately those who were strong survived. Strength in this occasion does not refer to ones strength with the force, rather one who is strong as an individual, who never gives up.Maul also survived and he is one of the strongest beings alive. Bo-katan managed to survive and she is not someone who is considered weak. In this occasion everyone is taken into account force sensitive or not.) “Power will be yours if you are willing to burn” foreshadows Anakin’s failure in Mustafar and by being burned ultimately made him stronger! In the end power was his…
Agreed. Malgus, I think, never wanted to be an emperor over everything. If anything I think he hated the concept by the end. He wanted everyone to be able to follow their passions, carve their own path, seek what they wanted & be physically, mentally, emotionally & metaphorically free. Even if chaos is the result. Honestly, I don't think Anakin ever truly wanted to be a successor Emperor either if he had never been burnt up & managed to kill the Palpatine. He wanted the Dark Side to save his wife. Had he never fallen for such lies he would have let Mace kill him. He wanted the Jedi to not hold him down (even when it should) & wanted to be free to follow his own passions with Padme. If Malgus achieved his moral goals as well as Anakin (pre-Vader) I think they would have been equal-opposites. In the case of Vader and Malgus, I think they would have seen eye to eye at least 80% of the time but never truly gotten along. Deception would have been inevitable.
Malgus is the one of the few pure followers of the Sith doctrine and philosophy, it is something all Sith should strive for, one other such Sith is DuduFilm who brings us these wonderful videos. Great work!
“I hear the grand Moff is calling me Malgus the Betrayer.. Tell me, Did my deception sting?” - Thats a true Sith quote/dialogue. Deceives & Stabs you in the back, and than asks you about it too your face to basically rub salt into the wound. Love it.
HOLY SITH!! The “ I have broken my chains “ and Kreia lines gave me goosebumps. Once again a masterpiece! Just two days ago I did my regular best of dudu film rewatch and now this :D A little and very humble suggestion: I think you could turn the music a little less down while someone is talking, starting from about when Kreia speaks.
Always glad to get another of your excellent videos. Malgus is determined, if nothing else. There is something to his ideas, but he is also clearly lashing out at the people that have hurt him too. "Everyone is made up of events in their past, and it forms walls around one's spirit, or breaks such walls down. The mind makes some powerless... and gives strength to others." "It is to surrender yourself, to make yourself a slave to a teaching or belief, that makes it so that belief will always rule you." "And know that is the true lesson of strength - to turn away from strength that is not your own."
Peace is a lie. There is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken.
Kreia always seemed to be like the mother of the force. Malgus would certainly be the father. Their knowledge of it is phenomenal and this video is fantastic at demonstrating that

Malgus is the dark sides version of Qui-Gonn Jinn: completely devoted to the force, council or empire be dammed. He will seek to follow the dark sides will and burn everything that tries to come in his way. Be purified by the flames or get turned to ash.
Love this. I perfectly encapsulates everything I love about Malgus: his unique perspective, his charisma, his arrogance. All of it collected into a epic video. Well done.
I love his response to this, “I hear the grand moff calls me Malgus the betrayer” when most would try to defend themselves saying things like “I never betrayed or I never had an allegiance for you”… Instead, Malgus states “so tell me, did my deception sting?”.
The King is back. Thank you, by rewatching your videos times and times again I think I not only enjoyed them every single time but learned something useful for my life.
This is the most epic SW sh*t I have EVER seen put together into something that transcends my love for SW! I am going to have multiple workouts where I ONLY listen to this on repeat! :D THANK YOU!!!
Anyone else notice how Malgus plays the defensive then deals 1 attack/death blow? He tires his enemies and saves his energy by fighting in defense then uses all his power in the end. Anyone else notice how the jedi fight in the offensive when fighting Sith? Ironic.....

The way he seeks out and forges his own path outside of the Sith Empire is proving to be one of the most promising stories SWTOR has given us.
Long have I wanted for another DuDuFilm relic for the Favourites folder Archive ❤ A true Star Wars Fan from every regard.
Seriously one of the BEST videos on RUclips 👏
After more than a decade, Malgus really has had a long and interesting journey. It's so interesting and exciting to see how things have developed
"Fire will light the way for the strong. And when the galaxy is in flames, power will be yours.. if you are willing to burn."
-Darth Malgus the Betrayer
Lol... like Vader
The force is not fire, it is venom. -Darth Bane.
@@seekingabsolution1907 it is an illness no sith would wish to be cured of - Darth Plagueis
The long awaited return of the Legend has finally come. Welcome back.
I clicked so quickly when I saw this notification, Dudu (much like our Empire) has returned!
Malgus is one of the most epic Star Wars characters ever and watching his evolution of philosophy has been incredible (I wish he hadn't left the Empire though) 🔥❤
While I agree, even the Empire may become corrupt, in a Machiavellian way, but Empire comes in many forms, to organize.
@@RenneDanjoule
Yeah, I definitely agree with that. No form of governance is ever fully free from the possibility of corruption which is why warriors like Malgus should stay to stamp out this corruption and reform the system.
@@punishedvenomsnake716 Imperial federation serving a Nationalist International. The Jedi will never have any fuel, the only way they can come back to power is by rabid internationalism/cosmopolitanism fueling communist equality.
You assumed no force could challenge you and now… finally, we have returned."
―Sith Lord Darth Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant
“I have seen a vision of the future, a galaxy in flames! The fire will light the way for the strong and when the galaxy is in flames, power will be yours, if you are willing to burn!”
Undoubtedly one of the best quotes in all of Star Wars!
In this occasion everyone is taken into account force sensitive or not.)
“Power will be yours if you are willing to burn” foreshadows Anakin’s failure in Mustafar and by being burned ultimately made him stronger! In the end power was his…
True. But he would have been much more powerful had he not been crippled on Mustafar. His "burning" would have been loosing Padme.
Doubt Malgus’ vision had much of anything to do with the Clone War. It was probably about if Vitiate had succeeded.
My opinion of Malgus, he’s vader gone right. He’s what vader could have been if he was able to break free
“I hear the grand moff calls for Dudu’s return”. Tell me, have you broken free!
Malgus is the one of the few pure followers of the Sith doctrine and philosophy, it is something all Sith should strive for, one other such Sith is DuduFilm who brings us these wonderful videos. Great work!
Malgus is a man focus, commitment and sheer fu_king will - he is a man of his beliefs. As always, great work, Dudu!
I once saw him kill three Jedi with a death stick. A f@#&ing death stick.
“I hear the grand Moff is calling me Malgus the Betrayer.. Tell me, Did my deception sting?”
- Thats a true Sith quote/dialogue. Deceives & Stabs you in the back, and than asks you about it too your face to basically rub salt into the wound. Love it.
Malgus and Vader must be hurting carrying the entire franchise on their backs
“Fire will light the way for the strong and when the galaxy is in flames, power will be yours. If your willing to burn” - I love Darth Malgus so true
Malgus is everything a Sith Lord should aspire to be! Devoted to the Dark Side alone!
I love Malgus such a interesting character and very badass
HOLY SITH!! The “ I have broken my chains “ and Kreia lines gave me goosebumps. Once again a masterpiece! Just two days ago I did my regular best of dudu film rewatch and now this :D
A little and very humble suggestion: I think you could turn the music a little less down while someone is talking, starting from about when Kreia speaks.
Holyyyyyyyy the dialogue I wrote for Malgus sounds so badass in this. Great work!
‘Because the survivors of the conflict come to understand the Force more deeply. Their understanding evolves. That is purpose enough.’
Darth Malgus
Always glad to get another of your excellent videos. Malgus is determined, if nothing else. There is something to his ideas, but he is also clearly lashing out at the people that have hurt him too.
"Everyone is made up of events in their past, and it forms walls around one's spirit, or breaks such walls down. The mind makes some powerless... and gives strength to others."
"It is to surrender yourself, to make yourself a slave to a teaching or belief, that makes it so that belief will always rule you."
"And know that is the true lesson of strength - to turn away from strength that is not your own."
Peace is a lie. There is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
This video is the best pre workout on RUclips
Darth Malgus and Grand Admiral Thrawn are my favorite Star Wars antagonists outside of the Original Trilogy.
Darth malgus gives you that CRAZY WORK with two lightsabers!
Malgus has been my favorite sith since day one and nothing will ever change that.
"DuDuFilm has uploaded."
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one."
Amazing video as always
Kreia always seemed to be like the mother of the force. Malgus would certainly be the father. Their knowledge of it is phenomenal and this video is fantastic at demonstrating that
And Bane would be the prodigal son of their beliefs in the dark side of the force.
2 years gone, just like that. Can't believe it.
This is absolutely gorgeous
This is the literally the first time YEARS that I've been excited by something related to Star Wars. Thank you for that.
“Those who are bold enough to openly wield it” Malgus is the character that gives us goosebumps
My lord and saviour has uploaded... Honestly bro, your videos bring me more joy then *any* new star wars content. Please don't stop, this is our go-to for Star Wars cravings.
Thanks, I wish latest expansion had more story content for me to work with, but oh well.
@@DuduFilm Ha! We all wish the same thing friend. Here is to hoping they drop something awesome this year.
Malgus est une légende , quelqu'un avec un honneur indélébile , indéfectible , incorruptible
Will always come back to this video 😭 it’s so deep dude it hits beyond the tv screen ❤️
"I have done what so many sith pretend to do but never really achieve. I have broken my chains"
That is hard as FUCK 😮💨
Over the years, Darth Malgus has easily shot up to being one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time
“We are all bound to the throne of the Supreme Being by a flexible chain which restrains without enslaving us."-Joseph de Maistre
"Even the longest chain is still considered slavery."-Me
@@ShowTube12 imagine dropping into a pit, saved from oblivion only by a chain wrapped to your ankle. By that chain you might yet climb to freedom.
Welcome Back!!! Malgus is easily becoming one of my favorites
This is by far my favorite video on the internet, I just can't stop watching it
Truth of Her (1:46) teachings is pinpointed masterfully by this video my friend. She would be proud.
Welcome back, Master! I plege myself, to your teachings.
I never clicked that fast on a New Video,
That was a great one thank you! 🙂
I can't wait for more!
Edit: you are so accurate with this video as the world stands today..
Omg One of the best star wars edits!!! ❤❤❤❤
Excellent video!! Nice to have you back!
*At last, Master Dudu. The joy on our faces is here, now.Thank you, master* !
I'd like this to be the trailer of an actual upcoming "Malgus: A Star Wars Story" kind of thing. It just deserves it.
When I finally reached this part of the story on my Lightish side sith, I listened to Malgus's every word and studied his actions...and the most heart racing part and why I find the writing for him to be so good, was because I could find myself agreeing with his philosophy, but not his methods and my char even got to say that. God I love this game. This video is just amazing
this is hands down the best Star Wars video ever made!
Malgus is such a legend. A true Sith. He and Marr are the pure embodiment of the Sith.
Marr is so damn great. He truly cares about the Empire, not just himself.
Malgus is the dark sides version of Qui-Gonn Jinn: completely devoted to the force, council or empire be dammed.
He will seek to follow the dark sides will and burn everything that tries to come in his way.
Be purified by the flames or get turned to ash.
Господи, это великолепно! У меня мурашки по всему телу пробежали от пафоса и крутости этого видео.
Love this. I perfectly encapsulates everything I love about Malgus: his unique perspective, his charisma, his arrogance. All of it collected into a epic video. Well done.
I waited all day to watch this. Did not disappoint. Great work!
“The Galaxy needs more DuduFilm. Especially in the times to come.”
The legendary dudufilms has come back with all of his greatness
I love his response to this, “I hear the grand moff calls me Malgus the betrayer” when most would try to defend themselves saying things like “I never betrayed or I never had an allegiance for you”… Instead, Malgus states “so tell me, did my deception sting?”.
"I hear the Grand Moff is calling me 'Malgus The Betrayer', tell me... did my deception sting?" such a badass.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
The greatness of your masterpieces make me forget the passage of time while watching them.🔥🔥
Epic, as always. And Malgus is such a pure Sith, Great work and thank you for continuing to put the passion in Star Wars
He's such a unique figure, and i haven't figurate out his archetype yet.
The King is back. Thank you, by rewatching your videos times and times again I think I not only enjoyed them every single time but learned something useful for my life.
Love the work you do!!! I love this especially.
And now, finally, Dudufilm has return.
Amazing tribute to the amazing malgus the betrayer.
Glad to have you back, and it's great that it coincided with Malgus returning as his badass self.
This is the most epic SW sh*t I have EVER seen put together into something that transcends my love for SW! I am going to have multiple workouts where I ONLY listen to this on repeat! :D THANK YOU!!!
Oh I do appreciate this one. And as always, Kreia's voice fits perfectly with any fragment of the Force.
Anyone else notice how Malgus plays the defensive then deals 1 attack/death blow?
He tires his enemies and saves his energy by fighting in defense then uses all his power in the end.
Anyone else notice how the jedi fight in the offensive when fighting Sith?
Ironic.....
These Soundtracks and the perfect matching Clips, I love ur work, keep it going :D
Absolutely love your videos. Every one of these is epic! Glad you’re back.
Every swtor content you make, i get shivers even i left swtor 6 year ago..
This is a perfect depiction of why malgus is my all time favorite character in starwars
Thank you dudu for making my morning coffee so much damn better.
"Long have we waited." (Good to see you back!)
