Petition for Lucasfilm to hire Samuel Kim when John Williams becomes one with the force
The Book of Sith includes some of Darth Plaguis' notes on his studies of immortality and he talks about Valkorion. It turns out Valkorion was *also* studying ways to control midichlorians and, according to Plaguis, Valkorion may have *actually* succeeded where he never could. If true, that means Valkorion was able to use the Force to resurrect the dead, preserve someone indefinitely, and even create life from nothing; a feat which even Plaguis admitted would have made him *the* most knowledgable and powerful Force user in galactic history. Unfortunately for Plaguis and Sidious, Valkorion never recorded how he did it because he never expected to die.
Goes to show you just how powerful Valkorion really was, that he came perilously close to *actually* becoming a god. In his notes, Plaguis actually expresses relief that Valkorion was destroyed because, in Plaguis' words, *"Vitiate's universe would be a cold and dead thing, inhabited only by a single cosmically vast entity: Vitiate himself."*

My ascendance is inevitable. A day, a year, a millennium-it matters not. I hold the patience of stone and the will of stars. Your striving is insignificant. Let your death be the same. -Emperor Vitiate
There is no death there is only the force and I am its master
For all your claims to power - for all your smug superiority - you hack away at the defenseless like a gleeful child. And here I stand - your own Wrath - in defiance of your plans, and you do nothing. Use whatever reason you want, but I know the truth. You are a coward.
@@AmadeyAzalin There was something special about fighting the emperor as Wrath.
Hear me Vitiate. All your airs of immeasurable power, yet all I see is the manipulation of the weak-minded, the slaughter of the infirm. You conveniently avoid the true challenge, the one you cannot match wills with, the one you cannot hope to strike down. Come, and be tested.

Then Luke came and Luke would have United who ever and have beat Tenebrae too because the force and plot was on Luke’s side period when it came to overthrowing Palpatine. No Idea why you people overhype a dude that in all reality amounted to nothing. It took 4000 Jedi to seal Exar Kun, so what?
Yes he said some cool things in a cool voice. But his Sith turned on him, he never put the Jedi in hiding or completely annihilated the republic. This was all his failures. At least Palpatine was the GALACTIC Emperor for a while.

Superiority*
To me, Tenebrae has to be possibly the most terrifying villain in all of Star Wars. When I think of him, Nathema always comes to mind, and that most likely more devastating than the Death Star or the Mass Shadow Generator. Tenebrae’s early childhood is unnerving as well. What really sells him for me as the scariest is the scene in “The Old Republic - Revan” novel, where Scourge first meets him. When Vitiate showed just a glimmer of his true nature for a split second, Scourge fell to the ground, whimpering. The description in the novel is excruciatingly chilling!
@@The_Great_Pierro I'm not saying he isn't, but I would also add Sidious

@@The_Great_Pierro Rey there was incredibly rude about it, but he ain’t wrong. When the father of Star Wars says someone is the most powerful Sith, then he’s the most powerful. Don’t believe us? Think about it like this, then: Sidious didn’t need to devour anyone or anything to have the ability to transfer himself after death into new mortal shells. Vitiate also didn’t do it alone. He had to trick other similarly powerful Sith to perform a big ritual that fed him without their knowing.
If it weren’t for the plot needing the good guy Luke Skywalker to win, Sidious would’ve just kept respawning until he won in the end. Vitiate couldn’t and would never be able to smack around entire fleets with the Force like how Sidious did in both canon and Legends. (i hate rise of skywalker, but it is what it is)

« The Rebels were turning out to be more troublesome than many had expected. The Emperor had known it would be thus, of course; the resistance had not been a surprise to him. The Emperor was completely in concert with the dark side of the Force. He was the most powerful Sith to have ever existed. »

« Darth Sidious proved to be the grim culmination of a thousand years of Sith philosophy and teachings. »
--Taken from Jedi vs Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force
« When the Sith finally emerged from a thousand years of watching and waiting, they numbered-in accordance with the tradition set down by Darth Bane-only two. The most powerful of these was Darth Sidious, an ice-cold, diabolically calculating genius equipped with the strength of the dark side of the Force, as well as an enormous wealth of Sith artifacts, equipment, and knowledge. »
--Taken from The Dark Side Sourcebook
« And then there was Palpatine, of course: he was beyond power. He showed nothing of what might be within. Though seen with the eyes of the dark side itself, Palpatine was an event horizon. Beneath his entirely ordinary surface was absolute, perfect nothingness. Darkness beyond darkness. A black hole of the Force. »

Palpatine may have spent his entire lifetime plotting to take over the republic & use its resources to his own ends, but Valkorion spent DOZENS of lifetimes building up both the Sith Empire & the Eternal Empire from virtually nothing at all, & still managed to bring the Republic to its knees, & even brought both the Republic AND his old Sith Empire to their knees another time.
Valkorion was far superior to Palpatine in every way, & it definitely shows.
Palpatine prob would be one shotted
@@NCRVeteranRanger palp didnt even plan anything over hyping him when plagues did everything knowing he would be killed and he knew all sith knowledge before dying thats how it was passed on to palps he let him kill him " one to pursue power , and one to embody it" it was always intended this way from the rule of two imo sidious after this ceases to be sidious and is a new being , id say its safe to bet palps beats vitiate due to knowing his entire skill set and tricks
"You mistake me for your own weak flesh. I do not end. you stand there because I allow it. Because I do not fear." Loving this theme so much. Keep 'em coming :D
I'm curious... do you really believe you've accomplished ANYTHING?
What do you think you've stopped?
I have already cheated death. I have other plans - as you will see...
Because, I have decided, that life is more... ... ... interesting... with YOU in it.
If you think you can stop me - try it.
If you want to keep railing against me - go ahead.
Your interference changes nothing.
When I am finished here - when every life I have touched has been exhausted - I want you to be alive.
I want you to know the truth.
To know that I succeeded.
This truly scares me from him he was the most powerful sith empror who lived he was truly "death" himself
My headcanon is that when Tenebrae's imprint attempted to return to life, the Cosmic Force intervened and perma-killed him. He was such a threat to the galaxy, that the Force itself put him down for good.
That's barely even headcanon, that's almost exactly what happened. Revan says to him as he is dying that the Force always seeks balance. Even the legion of force ghosts against him is subdued by his power until they are covered in a miraculous glow, which is almost certainly an act of the Force itself.
Sidious and Vitiate are two sides of the same coin IMO. Sidious is the physical embodiment of maknig a deal with the devil, Vitiate is the literal power of the devil. Both are true evil yet from different angles.
One of the greatest accomplishments of the old Republic game is creating one of the greatest, if not THE greatest sith of all time, not just in raw power, but in personality and the sheer presence and charisma of the man.
I give valkorion the win, easily, he could probably take over the galatic empire from Palpatine without firing a metaphorical shot.
More SWTOR soundtracks please. They are criminally underrated.
A God has no family...
Request: Please make Valkorion Theme (Vitiate/Tenebrae) × Revan Theme. Would sound epic for sure.
Thanks to Darin DePaul Valkorion is the best, most impressive incarnation of the emperor. His performance just blew me away and I am happy he got so many subsequent roles like Reinhardt, Ardyn and even in Shazaam.
I'm still waiting for him to play the evil emperor in a new Final Fantasy game.
I still like the voice of Vitiate in the vanilla story during the confrontation with the Hero of Tython in the Dark Temple (end of Act 3) the best.
Hey, Anthony Skordi and Doug Bradley also did well!
Whoever disliked this shall know the full power of the Dragon of Zakul
Me: [Breaks fingers on like button in fear]
Kneel before the dragon of Zakul
And the Dragon will know the full power of the Prince Of Darkness.
I love the slight animation of the lightening just makes it so great the smal deatails
I have been waiting for this for a long, long time...
And I finally got it.
Just magnificient.
Greetings from Spain.
Vitiate is like the Makuta Teridax of SW. Plans upon plans, endless power, and an even bigger hunger for absolute dominion over all that he sees.
Amazing reference
If someone is capable of defeating Revan like nothing....
*Fear*
Seriously, Vitiate is like the Count Dracula (Castlevania) but from Star Wars. He never gives up, and revives constantly.
Until Sidious, he was the closest Sith Lord to actually destroy the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order. He won the Great Galactic War, a war that extended itself through like almost 30 bloody years with the scale of WWII x99999999, leaving the Republic shattered. It took the combined efforts of the Old Republic and the "Third Sith Empire" (I believe) to even stand a chance against the Eternal Empire.
Ya that is true, and even after defeat the eternal empire they still had to deal with tenebrae reborn
It’s the second Sith empire, the first one is from marka ragnos later to fight the hyperspace war. Those empires that came after were minor ones. Including Revans sith cult and Exar kun
I swear I've seen this comment somewhere before
When Sith Lords are your speciality but you have to team up with them to defeat an even bigger threat.
@@Allowrike Ok. Thx
There’s another great Valkorion theme called “Valkorion, The Sovereign” I think it has my favorite musical motif in it, ever.
Bruh I was just cooling down from SWTOR and KOTOR and now I'm gonna get back into it listening to this.
There is no death, only the Force...
AND I AM ITS MASTER!
Valkorian is by far the strongest. He was arguably the 'first' chosen one of the force!
I think its quite the opposite. In the end the force itself intervened to stop him, so he was like cancer for the force who needed to be removed in order bring balance
@@gman99999 I think the Outlander is technically the first Chosen One, created specifically to bring down Vitiate, which I think is a far greater testament to Vitiate's strength.
His theme is so amazing, and represents perfectly him. Majestic, and make think about a worrying threat hidden in the shadows, that reveals all its power, that appears as an evil god
He should have stayed with his original Sith-Empire. He learned the hard way that nobody leaves the Empire through the back door.
"Once I ascend, there will be peace in the galaxy. That is my promise to you"
- Sith Emperor Vitiate
"peace is a lie" - Sith code.
@@shaydowsith348 Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorion views himself as beyond "Sith" though
These guys are gods in their respective fields (Samuel Kim and Valkorion)
“My life spans millennia, legions have risen to test me. My ascendence is inevitable, a day, a year, a millennium- it matters not. I hold the patience of stone and the will of stars, your striving is insignificant. Let your death be the same.” -Emperor Valkorion/ Vitiate/ Tenebrae
He's one of my top 5 favorite old republic characters
I really hope an Eternal Empire theme is coming next, because this one was incredible.
You’ve done it again…my heart bursts with glee and joy.
No live action darth vitiate done right....that’s a shame. This theme is about as iconic as any other sith theme. This and Darth Maul’s are my favorites
I don't know how people say nilhus was badass because he ate a planet because he was "hungry", Vitiate did it because he wanted to
Vitiate vs legend Palpatine could be a draw.
But Vitiate would wipe the floor with canon Palpatine.
Powerful and inspiring epic music can make me feel moved, encouraged and encouraged during difficult times.
Valkorian is so frightening as a villain because, unlike Palpatine and any other modern sith antagonists, he wasnt having to fight one sith and a handful of jedi, none of which are in their prime, with regular breaks, he wasn't coming to power of an empire of people who couldn't do much against mind tricks/control, he rose to power in the *sith empire* against hundreds and thousands of others with control of the force were his competition, waged war against hundreds and thousands of fully trained jedi, all at the same time, he built fleets that were regarded as invincible, formed two separate nations that were both loyal to a degree that one would assume they were brain washed
though i will say, he wasnt always the brightest, but had he been, swtor wouldn't have been a game, it would have been a shit show
Bro, if Valkorian shown more insight/intellect, the entirety of the game would be absolutely devastating.
@@saamjaza1742 imagine him w palps level of intellect
@@nicholaswesoloskie7194 Palps doesn't have intelect when he literally just brainwashs people, he doesn't need to persuade properly he just wave his hands
You somehow made his theme give me even more chills than the original
This is why Valkorion is easily the greatest villain in a videogame imo
The most epic walk up the stairs I've ever had
This is not the Dark side.
Nor is it the light side.
It is something far more terrible.
This is the purest form of the force.
This....is a God.
There is no death; there is only the force- and I am its master."
~Valkorion
We sooo need an Old Republic Saga with Vitiate as the villain
Yes the Eternal Empire is by far the best Faction in Star Wars in my opinion. Zakuul looks amazing with this skyscrapers which are reaching out of the Atmosphere
@@phnx_tom5400 agreed
Let's be real here. If it weren't for plot armor, the Jedi/Republic would've been crushed by the Sith/Empire long before the movies take place.
Plot Twist: Vitiate/Valkorion is still alive.. only he took the form of the most annoying Gungan Naboo has to offer.
I’m a simple man, I see Samuel Kim and The Old Republic, I click like.
Darth Tenebrae. The only Sith Lord that would even have a chance at potentially rivalling Darth Sidious, maybe even beating him.
As the remnants of Tenebrae struggle against their attackers, they find that their power is outmatched. Despite the ancient Sith lord’s might, the alliance that had gathered against, old foes and new, was too powerful. He couldn’t believe it. He was the most powerful of the Sith! He had conquered death itself! But it didn’t matter, as the alliance began to recite the words that would be the last thing he hears.
Satele Shan, the woman that acted as bait to trap him and doom him: “Everything you’ve done…”
Senya Tirall, the woman scorned by Valkorian: “Everyone you’ve betrayed…”
Kira Carsen, Vitiate’s wayward Child: “Everyone you’ve manipulated…”
Darth Malak, the first Jedi he turned: “Everyone you’ve deceived…”
Meetra Suurik, one of many Jedi to stand in his way and fall: “Everyone you’ve murdered…”
As they said these things, apparitions of his many victims appeared around them in solidarity with Tenebrae’s enemies to collect their dues. All of them were cloaked in the power of the light side, regardless of the order they belonged to.
The second Jedi Tenebrae turned, and arguably his most famous victim, Revan pointed at him accusingly, declaring that the Force always sought balance. Tenebrae would not possess it. He would not command it.
Tenebrae could feel his power waning. How could this be?! He was immortal. Infinite! ENDLESS!!
But then THEY silenced the Emperor’s ramblings. It was THEM. In all of his previous lives, it was them that stood in his way. They alone had conquered every betrayal he could think of. They alone had withstood his influence. They alone were not deceived. They had succeeded in slaughtering his previous forms and all of his servants and still survived. Who were they? Jedi? Sith? Did they even possess the Force?! His fear, anger, and hatred blinded his ability to sense their true identity, as they uttered one chilling sentence. Tenebrae’s power finally dissipated, as his previous forms and his current one turned to dust.
Tenebrae. Vitiate. Valkorian. The Emperor who terrorized the galaxy for the past millennia in pursuit of godhood, was dead. His last thoughts were of a horrific realization of the eternal torture that awaited him due to his sins in the netherworld of the Force.
What did they say before the Emperor died?
Tenebrae: “I AM ENDLESS!”
The Outlander: “No. In the end, as the darkness takes you, you are nothing.”
