In these dark times the notification of a new DuduFilm's upload shines bright. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for us. Your videos are some of the best parts that have come out of Star-Wars in my opinion.
One thing I love about your uploads, is usually they encapsulate All things Star Wars, the games, the shows, the films, Cinematic cutscenes. audio books, The Prequels, The Sequels, The Anthologies. ITS ALL STAR WARS channelled through your videos
It's amazing that he takes audio from audiobooks and videogames as well. he's literally the only editor out there that does that. that's why he's the best.
Mr. Dudu you have in just one video of just 4:39 minutes fixed all the issues that I had with Revan's SWTOR incarnation. Now more than ever I really want to like this video more than once. You are a legend among Star Wars fans, never change.
I watched this immediately after Dudufilm released it, and I was blown away by how amazing it was, but I was a bit confused. Just a few hours ago I finally got to experience this epic conclusion. Then I decided to rewatch this, and because I finally had the missing context, it hit so much deeper than the first time. An end of an era. P.S. Dudufilm, you rock. Thank you.
While I truly enjoyed this video a lot i can't say the same about this story update. We killed Valkorion already, the Republic and the Empire marched to war again, fighting the final battle and old and new enemies and allies gathered to participate. Then this came out and it almost felt like the attempt to replace the end of KotET, while the former was way more well prepared and orchestrated. Why bring Valkorion back, just to get him killed after a little more than an hour? I truly prefer the idea that Dudu presented in his "Understanding Valkorion"-video. "Beyond these stars exist other galaxies, other worlds, other beings. I will experience or ignore them as I wish. I will spend eternity becoming everything: a farmer, an artist, a simple man. When the last living thing in the universe finally dies, I will enjoy peace and wait for the cycle to begin again." I like the idea, that he is still out there doing, what he always wanted to do: Experience life in every possible way, listening to the stories of the galaxy that reach him from time to time and wondering about the foolishness of all this blind insects, who prefer to die in endless wars for some abstract ideals or ideologies, instead of just doing what he does: enjoing life.
Look at it this way. We killed vitiate and it wasn’t enough, then we killed valkorion and it wasn’t enough. This time the main antagonist was tenebrea. And it seems like it’s thematically the closing act of his saga. I hope
Basically, the point behind this update is the writers getting a chance to do what they wanted to do with KotET's climax, but couldn't because the negative reaction to KOFTE forced them to condense what was supposed to be two expansions into one. So, this is them getting to truly close all the loose ends on Vitiate's story (his true body, his strange character shift, ect) and include all the characters related to him that were suspiciously absent in KOTET (Scourge, Revan, Exile, ect).
@@nopenope5035 I hope as well, that they let his story end here for good, while I still have to criticize this ending. I see the point you made above, however, my problem is, that this ending doesn't fit the godlike emperor at all. He craved for an eternal life that is why he seperated his spirit or soul, however you may call it, from his body and transplanted it again and again in new bodies. That truly is eternal life. At the end of KOTET his soul was destroyed and he died. The Tenebrae we see in Echoes of Vengeance is not the same as the one we met before. Basically he is like a backup file, that Tenebrae left in his body, when he seperated his soul from it, centuries ago. But if a data file in your computersystem is destroyed and you have to rely on the backup to continue your work, that backup is not the sam file. The same goes for Tenebrae. If I die and I had a clone, that looks exactly like me and has all the memories I had, that would be great (or horrifiying, depending on what kind of person I am) for everyone who knew me, because for them, it wuld be like I am still alive. But the original me, the individual that I was, is still dead. I will never again experience the joys and griefes of life, so the only reason I would be interested in creating such clone, would be for the sake or the ruin of others. But we know, that Valkorion only really cares for himself. He has no interest in others as long as they aren't benefical or dangerous to his goal. And his goal was always to enjoy life forever in every possible way as his original self. Creating this backup doesn't benefit that goal at all and thus it makes absolutly no sense for him to create it at all.
My favourite line from this mission was the Sith warriors. "You named me your Wrath, in this moment I can think of no better name" *proceeds to watch Tenebrae crumble to dust*

He thinks that "when everything else is dead, i will be there to see the cycle being anew", but at that point, he wont be alone, he will be right alongside the ever-hungry dark side void that has taken hold inside of him, and when there is nothing else to devour, the same power he used countless times before, will turn on its "master" and devour him just as he devoured everything else. And then maybe, just maybe, like in Nathema, life will grow again.
Beautiful work. I hope you have not abandoned these efforts.
In these dark times the notification of a new DuduFilm's upload shines bright. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for us. Your videos are some of the best parts that have come out of Star-Wars in my opinion.
BEST DAMN REVAN TRIBUTE EVER.
This was so well edited, I am speechless. We needed an edit such as this that concluded this epic narrative... and we got one. Thank you.
Also having us team up with revan to defeat the sith emperor was really awesome and badass ;)
Despotic Imperialism without national distinctions(communism) replaced with a constitutional multi-national imperial federation
Seeing Jedi and Sith teaming up to fight the greater evil is fantastic
BioWare and EA has to thank Dudufilms for keep SWTOR alive!
OH MY GOD!
THIS IS AMAZING!
I'm an artist, searching videos, OSTs from SW for my fanarts. And this one. Gave me loooooots of ideas. Amazing work *-*
Our long awaited video has come at last.
The circle is now complete. When we last met, it was about a great Sith, now it is about the best Jedi.
Ladies and gentleman that's what I call a perfect start of an evening.
Thank you Dudu.
You are a legend among Star Wars fans, never change.
right you are!
The fact that revan can stand against vitiate is just so insanely impressive
@StarkBytes which emperor
@StarkBytes what about palpatine?
@StarkBytes would Revan be able to defeat him?
@StarkBytes could Revan beat nightfall Vader?
@StarkBytes I said nightfall Vader. That's vader before mustafar
When the last living thing in the universe finally dies, I will enjoy peace and wait for the cycle to begin again."
I like the idea, that he is still out there doing, what he always wanted to do: Experience life in every possible way, listening to the stories of the galaxy that reach him from time to time and wondering about the foolishness of all this blind insects, who prefer to die in endless wars for some abstract ideals or ideologies, instead of just doing what he does: enjoing life.
Hey Disney can we have some of this Star wars? This looks pretty awesome.
Disney: Naw but here's some more news and articles about Rian Johnson trilogy coming your way
[insert outdated meme here]
I would never trust disney with the revan storyline
Too busy trying to shove their "high republic" down people's throats
Ruin Johnson new STWOR trilogy with Transgender Renan by Briee Larson
Swtor: let’s complete the Revan storyline
Disney: let’s fire a fan favorite character from a fan favorite SW series, while proving what the nah sayers said about us to be true. 🤦🏻
Conclusion: I’m glad the old eu fans are still here. They keep the fandom alive sometimes, even when it doesn’t deserve to be here.
Revan will always be my favourite character in the entire SW franchise, once again - a great video :)
Something to enjoy while I'm snowed in.
That was epic, worth all the wait. Keep up your good work, Dudu!
*me yawning after finishing a work spreadsheet and looking for some music to perk me up*
*me instantly perking up and slamming that click button when seeing Dudu has uploaded yet again*
also, more epic than any I am all the jedi and I am all the sith trilogy moments :P
Copycat
I've missed you, dude. Stellar work as always!
Like always, all I can say is thank you Dudu. 🙏 (You made me cry at the end with that song and quote...)
Dudufilms post a Star Wars video - I immediately click. I just went back into the Revan love binge, so I'm very happy to see you posted another Revan video.
I can’t begin to express how much I love all of your amazing content. You always find the best ways the show the depth of Star Wars. Keep up the great work! Thank you!!!
Just wanna say thank you for making this and everything else you've made ive repeatedly come back to them over the year
Kotor remake has been announced, Revan finally coming back after so many years!!!
"And now...finally...we have returned."
I just opened up You Tube to watch some videos and saw this. Just another video that surprised me because of the work you putting in it. Great work I would say man, keep it up and may the force guide you in making more awesome content!
Continuing to wow us I see. Glad to see you are back again Dudufilm. May the force be with ya.
"Before I graced you with my videos, you were nothing but motes of filth, drowning in the chaos of youtube. And you, a lone viewer spying me without aim or purpose. I turned you into a being worthy of the eternal subscription! Without me, you are nothing..."
Underated... severly xD
@@timcronin5107 Lol. Thanks.
This should have been Episode 9.
Too good for Disney
It wouldn't make sense to suddenly go back 4000 years for ep9
Perhaps Tenebrae could be the final villain of the sequel trilogy. But we’d need to rework the other two films for that to work.
@@TheRoomforImprovement Not really. I actually wrote a rough draft that would fix most of the problems the first two movies brought up without having to rewrite the entire sequel trilogy. I would have to split Episode 9 into two movies to make it work but I could do it.
@@Lobsterwithinternet Interesting. Although it would be a quadrilogy not a trilogy.
The Force seeks balance. Always.
In a fight against you no-one is alone.
I will show you: power of the Force in balance
I like these Revan's lines.
By far my favorite SW character. Glad to see him on this (great) channel again
You make amazing videos and I'm filled with a sense of joy when I see you've uploaded. Thank you
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!"
History remembers her as the Exile...
Thank you for this! Beautiful video...
Goodbye my old friend, Meetra Surik and Revan. One with the force
Dudufilms Videos realy give you a kind of glimpse into what it acctualy means to have wars that spann the entire galaxy and it gives you a glimpse into how deep star wars acctualy is beneath the Sci-Fi setting.
Great video as always. I loved the echos of Oblivion story and when I finished it my first thought was will we get a dudu film tribute for this. Glad we did. Looking forward to the Maul video and as always take as much time as you need to release the high quality videos we love they are always worth the wait.
That ending made me tear up we need more Revan I know there's not much but Revan malak kreia and the exile are my favorite Kotor is like my heart and soul so thank you
Thats some real good editing/cutting!
you should check out his other videos, best star wars editor out there.
@@Blackdeathgaming-yv1kk Right you are!
Fighting alongside Revan in that final battle; I wish I recorded my reaction, I was going balistic!
Another masterpiece.
Great work!
Yooooo. I am a simple man, I see a Revan video made by Dudu I click it.
I liked before watching the video, then watched the video, for I learned to see what cannot be seen. I saw a masterpiece before it came to be.
He may have been all things and nothing, but there will rarely be a warrior as mighty as Revan.
I already have something like four videos on Revan in my playlist as it is, this is straight up getting ridiuclous. That said, I am fully intending to play KOTOR in an hour or so, and am going to DM a Star Wars Saga campaign starting this weekend. Keep at it!
Sounds great!
I recently watched every single video you've ever made
This is an auspicious day
It was really cool too see the original Tenebrae. Seeing all three versions of him reminded me of fighting Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts 3
DuduFilm has released another video. Now, we watch it and give it due praise, for it brings joy to our hearts.
This is the Way.
I was worried this day would never come
Wow this is epic! This is my new favorite video that you've made
Edit: Thank you DuduFilm for liking my comment ❤️ that made me so happy to see that
Lord Dudu has returned, when the fandom needed him most.
Glad to have you back dudu, excellent video
At last, I love Dudufilm and I love Revan. Return of both is the best thing possible.
wooooow this video is amazing! i love all the videos of this channel
that expansion was so much fan service
Enjoyable fan service though
This was incredible!
Yes sirrrrrrrrrr! Love me some dudufilm to start my day! Thank you 😍😍❤️❤️🤌🏾🤌🏾
I love how you still favor The Sith Warrior here. Hehe. :) AVENGE ME! AVENGE US ALL WRATH!
I like to think that Valkorion is still alive somewhere still trying to become a god by the time of the sequels, but he's in hiding because of how weak he became after that final battle.
Revan finished what he started
He destroyed Tenebrae / Vitiate / Valkorion Once and for all with the player
And now he can live in peace in the Force, with his wife Bastila
Long live Revan
It would have been great if he had an even greater role imo but it was also good this way, yeah
