There certainly is something romantic about the sith, they basicly seek emotional and sometimes literal freedom. And that is in my opinion something everybody can more or less relate to

Scrouge really did explained well mentality of the Sith and how do they feel. His lines reminded me for some reason on Malgus and Eleena... Really emotionally done video. Perhaps in the end you should have add final sentence " My equilibrium never deviates. I feel… nothing." In my opinion it would have make it even more dramatic. All in all, amazing video. when i look at the sith code, i dont see power hungry maniacs like the jedi and the films want us to see them. i see slaves abandoned by everyone including the jedi who are reaching out in desperation to the dark side of the force, its a fact that when people are pushed too far they eventually will strike back
@M N The Je'daii as they were called back then practiced both light and dark. When a Je'daii became too focused on the light, they were sent to the dark moon to meditate on the dark side. Same vice versa. The dark Je'aii were not. When they delved into Force Alchemy (Later called Sith Alchemy), instead of being sent to the light moon they were to be exiled completely. The Dark Je'daii didn't like that one bit. Tython was still their home and they tried to fight in order to keep it. Scourge was a great and sadly under-utilized character, yet I'm glad they kept him of the Zakuul Expansions for SwotR. He is the perfect character to show the flaws of jedi dogma despite never having been one. He's been cut off from everything that can evoke emotion, and he would do anything to feel again. He's the perfect "jedi" in that sense yet because he knows what he's given up he'll never go down that path. With the Jedi vs Sith focus in the game it's a great time to bring him back rather than fight a boogeyman who slighted him.
I adore this. Their history puts a new twist on the relationship between Jedi and Sith and even makes you sympathize to a degree. Your video, as always, bring that sentiment out beautifully and I love the segments with Scourge's dialog over video of Vader. Fits absolutely perfectly.

I usually stay away from youtube commenting, and although I had the urge to commend you for your amazing work for each video you post, I do believe you have outdone yourself completely with this one. The sith are what it is to be human. They have emotion, desire revenge, make mistakes, all of it. Ive always viewed star wars as a story of tragedy and here we see it being one.

@Plo Koon the sith did try to conquer the republic but they were defeated and weak. The republic followed them and committed genocide on what was mostly women and children of korriban. I dont advocate for the sith exactly but they are what the jedi made them. Everything has a ripple effect

I find the Sith to be understandable if you really think about it. They have flaws but so do the Jedi, and there's admiral things about them as a culture like many cultures we've had throughout this world. Honestly I would even think they have a sense of honor, at least some of them have been shown to have it in swtor. Truly beautifully well done, Man. More people need to see this. Liked and favorited!

Their pathetic dogma preaches to suppress and bottle up every natural and carnal instinct and desire, to try their best to become as friged and unfeeling, like stones and machines. To feel "peace" and "centeredness" as if nothing else dwells inside. This is why they fail, as its a life that is unnatural. This is why so many fall to the darkside, because they bottle up so much until it bursts in an explosion of emotion. This is why they fail, time and again. They become shackled slaves to their very dogma, no matter how much their spirits and beings naturally reject it. Their ideas of peace benefits a couple and harm a great many, innocents and unprotected like General Grievous's people before his reconstruction, all in the name of self righteousness and power, as the jedi love to declare themselves "peacekeepers" of the galaxy. This is why the Jedi fall.
Even though I admire and side with the Sith it pains me to say this eternal battle will have no winner, Battles and wars have taken millions of lives as tolls on both sides and made many things come to an end and become extinct. This Eternal battle will either come to an end by Eradicating both or somehow they come to reason and cease this war which I highly doubt. Neither side is a winner but in fact both are losers and that is the state as is.
I love the sith, and this for me sums them up they're all about their power hence their code,but the little bit where the sith is saying he remembers what it was like to touch and taste makes me think of Vader never being able to because of what happened to him in his fight on mustafar never being able to experience them things again and that he'd do anything for the chance just like the other sith is saying. After learning about "The Sith Holocaust" the worst genocide in Galactic history which was orchestrated by both the Republic and Jedi makes me realize that the Sith are the true victims and that their fight isn't about conquest and subjugation but about survival. The Republic along with the Jedi butchered and murdered billions of defenseless innocent Imperials, Sith, and Sith Purebloods in their Final Solution to the brink of extinction. The Sith became the "monsters" the Jedi forced them to be. Very few like Darth Vectivus and Darth Marr were true Sith warriors with noble qualities such as honor, mercy, and compassion. Palpatine is the Jedi's punishment for The Sith Holocaust.
Nah, it was about conquest because they were trying to do that before the "holocaust" even happened. And it's funny how the Jedi's supposed punishment for that is someone who couldn't care less.
No, Palpatine was the Force correcting the galaxy itself back into balance. The Jedi arrogantly believed they were bringing balance but all they did was consolidate the Dark Side into a single Sith and he decimated the Jedi to achieve a “sense” of balance. “This battle will be fought forever…” Unless all the Jedi and Sith are gone.

I haven't played much of the game, but while the human Sith were mostly written as assholes in most of SW lore, purebloods like Darth Scourge really put things into perspective and make you view the Jedi as the real villains. Palpatine and Vitiate may have been evil men, but the Sith's hatred of the Jedi is very well justified.
Ironicly the sith code is fit to real ife. Peace is a lie there is olny passion-first you must desire your goal. Through passion I gain strength-wanting something gives you power to achieve it.But not for free.Nothing is for free. I like how when the series started out with a New Hope we all thought the Sith to solely be the villains but then slowly more and more got added on especially about the origins of the Sith and we found out that the Sith were exiles and outcasts who dared to go against what was accepted. They were made evil by the evils committed against them.

Scrouge really did explained well mentality of the Sith and how do they feel. His lines reminded me for some reason on Malgus and Eleena... Really emotionally done video. Perhaps in the end you should have add final sentence " My equilibrium never deviates. I feel… nothing." In my opinion it would have make it even more dramatic. All in all, amazing video. Fantastic job dudu, your every video rocks!
Other than the fact that he killed my favorite female character but stabbing her from behind and screwing Revan over, he is a complex and a very well done character.

when i look at the sith code, i dont see power hungry maniacs like the jedi and the films want us to see them. i see slaves abandoned by everyone including the jedi who are reaching out in desperation to the dark side of the force, its a fact that when people are pushed too far they eventually will strike back
As a former slave turned sith lord, the code is of great importance to me.
@M N The Je'daii as they were called back then practiced both light and dark. When a Je'daii became too focused on the light, they were sent to the dark moon to meditate on the dark side. Same vice versa. The dark Je'aii were not. When they delved into Force Alchemy (Later called Sith Alchemy), instead of being sent to the light moon they were to be exiled completely. The Dark Je'daii didn't like that one bit. Tython was still their home and they tried to fight in order to keep it. The Je'daii couldn't even follow their own ways, and later the newly named Jedi of the Old Republic also committed Genocide. Hypocrites, the whole lot of them!

Scourge was a great and sadly under-utilized character, yet I'm glad they kept him of the Zakuul Expansions for SwotR. He is the perfect character to show the flaws of jedi dogma despite never having been one. He's been cut off from everything that can evoke emotion, and he would do anything to feel again. He's the perfect "jedi" in that sense yet because he knows what he's given up he'll never go down that path. With the Jedi vs Sith focus in the game it's a great time to bring him back rather than fight a boogeyman who slighted him.
Scourge? A great character? Yeah no. And Jedi don't cut off emotion.
I adore this. Their history puts a new twist on the relationship between Jedi and Sith and even makes you sympathize to a degree. Your video, as always, bring that sentiment out beautifully and I love the segments with Scourge's dialog over video of Vader. Fits absolutely perfectly.

I keep coming back to this video for just this part. First Darth Maul with the door opening and then Darth Malgus jumping at the songs climax. It’s absolutely incredible, with the Sith code being revised in the background.
1:02 - 1:10 ABSOLUTELY PERFECT sync of that dialogue to Vader. That is the moment that got me really into this video. Absolutely well done, 10/10, highest marks to you sir.
I usually stay away from youtube commenting, and although I had the urge to commend you for your amazing work for each video you post, I do believe you have outdone yourself completely with this one. It is so poetically beautiful and thematically right. You managed to bring a sympathetic vision for the Sith, whch were almost always very tragic characters in their own right. The sith are what it is to be human. They have emotion, desire revenge, make mistakes, all of it. Ive always viewed star wars as a story of tragedy and here we see it being one.

I find the Sith to be understandable if you really think about it. They have flaws but so do the Jedi, and there's admiral things about them as a culture like many cultures we've had throughout this world. Honestly I would even think they have a sense of honor, at least some of them have been shown to have it in swtor. Truly beautifully well done, Man. More people need to see this. Liked and favorited!

Their pathetic dogma preaches to suppress and bottle up every natural and carnal instinct and desire, to try their best to become as friged and unfeeling, like stones and machines. To feel "peace" and "centeredness" as if nothing else dwells inside. This is why they fail, as its a life that is unnatural. This is why so many fall to the darkside, because they bottle up so much until it bursts in an explosion of emotion. This is why they fail, time and again. They become shackled slaves to their very dogma, no matter how much their spirits and beings naturally reject it.
Their ideas of peace benefits a couple and harm a great many, innocents and unprotected like General Grievous's people before his reconstruction, all in the name of self righteousness and power, as the jedi love to declare themselves "peacekeepers" of the galaxy. Their "peace" is a fraud, their mantra is a failure, their beliefs/actions are hypocritical, their stance as "protectors" is built on a history of violence, genocide, slavery and lies.
This is why the Jedi fall.
Even though I admire and side with the Sith it pains me to say this eternal battle will have no winner, Battles and wars have taken millions of lives as tolls on both sides and made many things come to an end and become extinct. This Eternal battle will either come to an end by Eradicating both or somehow they come to reason and cease this war which I highly doubt. Neither side is a winner but in fact both are losers and that is the state as is.

I love the sith, and this for me sums them up they're all about their power hence their code,but the little bit where the sith is saying he remembers what it was like to touch and taste makes me think of Vader never being able to because of what happened to him in his fight on mustafar never being able to experience them things again and that he'd do anything for the chance just like the other sith is saying. After learning about "The Sith Holocaust" the worst genocide in Galactic history which was orchestrated by both the Republic and Jedi makes me realize that the Sith are the true victims and that their fight isn't about conquest and subjugation but about survival. The Republic along with the Jedi butchered and murdered billions of defenseless innocent Imperials, Sith, and Sith Purebloods in their Final Solution to the brink of extinction. The Sith became the "monsters" the Jedi forced them to be. Very few like Darth Vectivus and Darth Marr were true Sith warriors with noble qualities such as honor, mercy, and compassion. Palpatine is the Jedi's punishment for The Sith Holocaust.
Nah, it was about conquest because they were trying to do that before the "holocaust" even happened. And it's funny how the Jedi's supposed punishment for that is someone who couldn't care less.
No, Palpatine was the Force correcting the galaxy itself back into balance. The Jedi arrogantly believed they were bringing balance but all they did was consolidate the Dark Side into a single Sith and he decimated the Jedi to achieve a “sense” of balance.

I haven't played much of the game, but while the human Sith were mostly written as assholes in most of SW lore, purebloods like Darth Scourge really put things into perspective and make you view the Jedi as the real villains.
Palpatine and Vitiate may have been evil men, but the Sith's hatred of the Jedi is very well justified.
Damn dude this is epic. Disney should contact you about making their trailers for a Sith TV series or something!

I like how when the series started out with a New Hope we all thought the Sith to solely be the villains but then slowly more and more got added on especially about the origins of the Sith and we found out that the Sith were exiles and outcasts who dared to go against what was accepted. They were made evil by the evils committed against them.
