This is based on several rumors I gathered while waiting for Star Wars Episode VII . This theory might seem crazy and it probably is . Let me explain How this goes .
4 or 5 month before the expansion of SW:TOR came out , I came across of thread on Reddit , an anonymous person was "leaking" some information about possible future of the game and what sort of expansion patches and story elements we as players could see in the future implemented into the game . It was a crazy thread , many things he wrote were too good to be true . However after 5 month some of his words (when expansion came out) were basically true , not all of them , but some actually came to life .
What was really interesting to read is that and I will quote on this
"EA and Disney have a brilliant plan for SWTOR. It will be upgraded to canon in the next expansion and will have some subtle tie-ins with Star Wars 7. (Specifically, a certain planet will be used and lord Vitiate will be an off-screen influence on the main villain of 7). "
Of course it was too good to be true and I kinda did not think about it , but enjoyed just a thought . Now here is where second rumor comes in and I'm sorry I do not have a link to the interview of Andy Serkis , I've read it a few month ago , so he was saying to kinda quote his words " Yea you can say my character is risen from the dead " I might got some words wrong but the main point was this .
So here I thought , this might actually worth suggesting , I know Vitiate is dead by Episode I as was in Darth Plagueis novel mentioned , and some other sources , but if I or at this point if someone agrees with me WE can suggest that by now Vitiate is alive ( in non physical form) but spiritually and there could be a possibility of this that he will be off screen main villain .
I know it is still crazy to think about this but hey , at least enjoy the Tribute to my favorite Sith character , if you don't support this crazy idea it's fine , I understand , but as rumors go this at least has few % to be true . Would you like this to be the real thing ?

Finally a video that captures the... 'ultimateness' of the Emperor. He is the perfect villain. His goals are incomprehensibly ambitious. He wants not to rule but to be God. With Godlike powers he doesn't simply want to create or destroy, he wants to be everything. He wants to basically merge with the fabric of existence and become omnipotent. What we see of him here is him in his vulnerable days.

Doug Bradley's voice is so empowering and was a great casting choice by Bioware. Vitiate achieved what all Sith crave, absolute power. Best Sith ever and far superior to anything Disney has yet to throw out.
Vitiate was never Sith he is the Master of the Force, he doesn't believe in light and darkness only the force.
@@ferbintegabriel4714 well sith desire power and most Sith reject power of the light side because they think it's weak, but Vitiate abused both sides for ultimate power so if anything he is a TRUE Sith who actually achieved the freedom through power the sith code talks about. But that's just my opinion.
Valkorian is actually a Sith Lord of supreme power. Not a Sith of Ajunta Pall’s style, but of Exar Kuns cloth. Like any true original Sith he wants to be everything. Bane was the greatest of Ajunta Palls Lords of the Sith, while Sadow and Valkorian were the best of the True Sith.

@@sleepyllama3673 that source you're referring to was written in the 05=06 era when kotor with the tenebrae story came out in 10-11 so is out dated and the wiki for it hasn't been changed that part in a very very long time.

You might be on to something here. Perhaps Sidious was really a pawn and never realized it. That would explain why he was so hung up on creating the Death Star twice. He was providing the "fuel" Vitiate needed to return. It would also explain why Darth Tenebrous was determined to destroy Midichlorians, thereby neutralizing Vitiate's spirit.

@Joseph Clark Chock it up to a management structure that was so far up its ass they didn’t have a concept in the three years they were working on it. The developers didn’t even know the game they were working on until their E3 2018 presentation and only had 6 months after that to make the actual game.
It was a shit show.
The story is so much better then disney Star Wars ( except for solo and rogue one)
Just to point out this little factoid about Emperor Vitiate... By the time of the SWTOR story, he was already over 1,300 years old. He consumed the Force and life energy of millions on his homeworld of Nathema to make himself immortal. By the end of the Shadow of Revan expansion, Vitiate is basically an entity, rather than a physical being. He plans on consume all life in the galaxy in order to become a god.

+d3athbyn1ght I NEED to see this happen. I didn't like TLJ, but I'm hoping JJ writes Snoke back in. Snoke can be one of his voices or proxy bodies, which has likely been JJ's plan. When he died I feel like part of his spirit was imparted on Ren and now Ren is unknowingly housing the voice of the Emperor. Wouldn't you just love to see him return through Kylo?

I just need Kylo speaking to Him and some other War Generals and then when one gets defiant, yet his usefulness is to great to waste by death, Kylo's voice emboldens like Vitiate and echoes across his new throne room. The purple flames on the statues go out and different spirits can be heard moaning in anguish and whispering in fear causing the generals to get on there knees while Hux stands tall and says he will not be intimidated by nonsense and pulls a gun on Kylo. Vitiate manifests as a full fledged spirit and quotes "You mistaken me for your own weak flesh !" and explodes the blaster in Hux's hand causing him to cry in pain in his knees bleeding.

Amen to that. He wasn't just the big bad. Early on, a lot of us began to wonder if he could actually be beaten. He was more like a force of nature than a villain. Like trying to punch a volcano into submission.
Bravo to SWTOR for making a villain that inspired such awe and dread.

i agree with you for the most part but come think of it if vitiate was more powerful then ever when he awakened and was on ziost why didn't he kill Lana, Theron and the others who weren't possessed besides our characters.
that's because fcktards in SWTOR did to Revan what TLJ did to Luke- they completely ruined and fcked up the character. they made a ultimate force user into a generic white dudebro who was also a moron of epic proportions. Such a shame....
kinda did tie in with a bad ass end and kinda makes sense as carth onasi once said. "the Force can do terrible things to a mind. can wipe away your memories and destroy your very identity. now imagine in the spiritual sense this just my thoughts on it. since literally his mind was destroyed his dark spirit lied dormant and what was untainted by the dark side rose up out of him and took control (he took control) taking back his mind over from vitiates control. But as time went on his memories came back slowly and he realized who he once was but stayed true to his path even when he in lockstep for 300 years in the emperors mind. but as he died the dark side of his spirit decided to continue what it's original goal was to destroy the evil in the galaxy first it was mandalore now the emperor

What makes Tenebrae unique?
More than any other Sith Lord or force user, maybe excepting Nihilus and Abeloth coincidentally enough, he takes Star Wars precariously close to becoming a horror story.
Like many SW villains, he does have that quirky Saturday morning cartoon villain vibe to him, particularly during the knight’s story, maybe a little less toward the end of it (that throne room dialogue really sticks well)
After that though, during Shadow of Revan and Ziost? He turns it up past 11 and becomes this incorporeal nightmare entity with near infinite power. You can’t kill him, you can’t even touch him, and he’s suddenly everywhere, and anyone.
Kill one of his puppets? That’s nice, you just made him a bit more powerful regardless. Stop his plan here? No matter, he’s still 25 steps ahead of you, and he’ll be sure to let you know it. You can’t fight him truly, only delay him a bit longer, and the delay doesn’t even register to him.
The whole eternal throne story really gives his character room to grow, and they did a good job with that part of it at least, showing just how utterly cold and disconnected he is from everything and everyone around him. A man made utterly insular and inexhaustibly cunning and calculating through millennia of life.
They tried to make his defeat permanent by the end of it, but I don’t entirely buy it. One, because EA will need villains to fight in each expansion and I doubt they can keep him iced forever. Two, because like Nihilus and Abeloth, I’m not sure if you can truly kill him for good.

Got all the more sinister when the aurabesh (Star war language) translates: "Your god wants you dead"
I didn't even need a translator I know the whole aurebesh alphabet by heart (not the ch combined symbol etc. the single letters/symbols)

Darth Vitiate took over, not one, but two planets. He killed his entire planet by the age of 7, and then destroyed another, several years later. He also controlled an entire planet with his mind, controlling Jedi, Sith, Troopers, Civilians, you name it. The Dread Masters could not even dare lay a finger, nor a thought on him. He is the most powerful Sith that ever lived.

Uh no.. Tenebrae/Vitiate became a Darth at 15 by the reigning Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos. And he did not use the Dread Masters to see the future. The Dread Masters powers were a form of battle-meditation that induced fear into fleets of enemies destroying their moral and will to fight. It’s even stated that the Dread Masters together are still nothing compared to the Emperor, you can fact check everything I just typed please stop spouting falsities.
by the age of 13 vitiate became a sith lord by marka ragnos he was never a darth. 100 yeards later just right after the great hyperspace war vitiate summoned 8000 sith lords promising power to destroy the republic which in reality was a ritual to give vitiate vast power and a form of immortality.
ritual ends vitiate gathers remnants of the empire and goes on a 20 year exodus to allow the people of the fleet to rely on him for guidance. fleet reaches Dromund Kaas he declares a new empire and with that names himself sith emperor.

I saw the same sight that u have the quote for but when I read it I got more of a feeling that vitae would be the main antagonist for the new swtor that's coming out and they would some how bring revan In the movie mabey not him actually their but mention him some how

I sure hope that theory is true. It would make sense to make Kotor and Swtor canon sense Bane is canon in clone wars and the fact having a non canon MMO run a long with all the new canon star wars stuff. And it's the most popular EU and safest sense it's so far back. I just wish they Kept most of the Good EU canon. It's stupid they made ALL of the EU non canon.

My Vitiate is Snoke theory is this: Vitiate ruled for 1,300 years. In the canon, the Phantom Menace mentioned no Sith for a thousand years. Snoke is stated to see the rise of the and fall of the Galactic Empire in the visual guide.
Meaning, what if Vitiate kept body snatching in secret for those 1,000 years and Snoke is his most recent body? He has a great interest in both Ben and Rey right? What if he wants to use one of them as his new host?
I wish the Force Awakens tried to tell a story and just a lame remake of A New Hope. Now they'll have to do a lot of info dumping in episode 8.

Nope, it was confirmed by disney that snoke is a clone created by sidious to act as a puppet while he built an empire at exegol. Although you could be right because clones are not force sensitive. It could be vitiate's spirit inside snoke

I would have made him a remnant of the original Sith Empire that Mace Windu and Palpatine talked about in Revenge of the Sith.
The First Order is the old Sith that survived the ages by living in the Unknown Regions, gathering their strength. Snoke would have a natural Force user, meaning pure warlock, and a descendant of Bane. Bane was in the Clone Wars show and met Yoda.
That's how I would have done it.

Tenebrae, as Vitiate, was the scariest fucking villain ever. His voice (also Hellraiser's voice) is the stuff from nightmares. He didn't care about any Empire or Republic. He just wanted all life on every planet completely wiped out.
Tenebrae, as Valkorion, was eh... I mean, he was good, but he wasn't like Vitiate-the-world-eater good.

***** All who follow vitiate have no choice because he brainwashed them. Plus, when I Rp in swtor I don't usually acknowledge any events that occurred during or after the Emperors death in the TOR timeline so I can gladly follow Vitiate without being a traitor if I wish.

Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorion ist nämlich neben Imperator Sheev Palpatine mein absoluter Lieblingscharakter- und Lieblingssith. Wirklich hervorragendes Video. Es hat in mir Gänsehaut erregt. Und das, obwohl ich die Geschichte (nicht nur die Geschichte des Spiels SWTOR und seine Rolle darin mit allen Erweiterungen, sondern auch seine komplette Geschichte von seiner Geburt auf Nathema bis hin zu seinem endgültigen geistigen Tod durch den Fremdling) kenne.

Having Snoke be the literal voice of the emperor and possibly allowing for a 4th Sith empire to return would have been awesome and way better then what we got. But at the same time they would have ruined him like they did the entire sequel trilogy without a doubt.
Had Disney gone this route the new trilogy would have been far, far more popular and successful.
After watching and thinking of the last jedi, I needed to watch some of these to clean the filth from my memory.
Imagine if Snoke was actually Vitiate. What we could have had...
Please! Make an updated version of this video with Force Awakens footage! Also, the part where Vitiate says, "the scores of dead have nourished me" could tie into the Destruction of Alderaan, thus reawaking him and explaining the Dark side presence Palpatine was sensing in the Unknown Regions, and thus required him to send an expedition to check it out. Maybe after being dormant for so long, Vitiate entered Snoke and that's who the expedition found before becoming First Order members themselves. Please, this video was aawesome and I am sure I am not the only one who would find an updated versión with Force Awakens footage! For example, the scene with the duelists clashing before saying This Galaxy is mine could be Rey and Kylo Ren clashing and then when saying, its time to claim it once more you could add an image of Snoke in the throne room. The hype, man, the hype!

Hype is real indeed , but honestly when I was making this I had much more passion cause I felt like there was a chance that it could really be him , but after watching a movie I'm 99% sure Valkorion is not Snoke (I wish he was but). I mean idea is great I just don't believe in it (sadly) , but I could try this hype train once more , after I finish two projects that are coming soon . Valkorion's spirit is still alive and can take mortal vessels, such as Snoke. He is the offscreen enemy of the sequels.

I like how this Vitiate feels like his real self, not the emotionless Sith Emperor, not Valkorion, the benevolent emperor, but Vitiate, a monster who even the Sith fear.

With sacrificing Ziost he had the power to return again, this time as the powerful emperor Valkorion.
well i have to say the Darth plagius novel (sorry for misspelling) is no longer canon so this good be a possibility :) because in the novel it states he died a final death but since its no longer canon he could be a background villan or even snoke if you think about it since he moves from body to body but thats another topic i am not covering

I actually theorized that Serkis was going to portray Vitiate - but my only evidence was because Serkis sounded VERY similar to Vitiate, and the wording was aligning.

This is such a worthy opponent for Revan and the exile. After the two games your characters are both essentially masters if the force abd than some with Meetra being a wound in the force, (Which ig means she's outside if the force's influence but still able to influence it herself after the second game?), and with Revan a master of both light and dark with all that fancy gear we got them in the game and with the Emperor's Wrath helping these two LEGENDS....it still was not enough idk about you but that was my big wtf how? Moment Emperor Tenebrae was when I learned Revean was trying to hunt h i m out in the Unknowns, but as Tenebrae put it, "Your striving....is insignificant. Let your death be the same." 😥😞
Imagine Vitiate would return using old sith rituals somewhere between episode 6 and 7. Now that would be something. Shattered empire, weak new republic, few Jedi left. Vitiate could manipulate the world in shadows. Weakening and corrupting others and then openly engage, bringing back the old sith ways with his goal to reestablish Eternal empire. Now that would be a trilogy better than those shitty episodes 7-9 presented.

Vitiate Will never die. The Emperor of the Sith Empire had made a ritual of immortality, by doing it he left his physical form forever and entered Volkyrion. He was basically The Emperor of all Galaxy in two strong Empires. He is a God, he made a ritual to become a force non physical being. He is like a ghost, Vitiate will never die, even if his physical form is dead he will be back in somebody else, who knows h could been Snoke? He could be someone right in the ST universe, he is a GOD remember, GODS never DIE. He is better than Darth Vader, than Sidious, than all of the Sirth Lords. None of these Lords can be compared to the true dragon of Zakuu.
Theres a few rumors you can give some merit. One is Vitiate Split his being long ago and Valkorian is part of him. This would explain the voice change and why Valkorian is so powerful. 2nd Is that Valkorian is one of Vitiates last Puppets in the galaxy because Vitiate is actually not in the galaxy anymore. Remember Vitiate has Never been seen. Revan was the only one who might have seen him. If he did he saw a pure blood Sith with piercing black eyes that scared even him. We have never met him yet. We may never meet him. Hes too powerful for us to handle anyways.
Um, Valkorion is Vitiate. That's pretty obvious. He mentions the destruction of Ziost where the voice of the emperor referred to the Jedi Knight as an old friend, Also Darth Marr says that despite having a new name and a new face he is still the emperor and the Jedi confirms saying that it would take more that that to fool them. Therefore Vitiate is Valkorion

I know that vanilla Emperor (both Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior cutscenes) is voiced by Doug Bradley and KotFE+ (Valkorion's body) is voiced by Darin De Paul.
But I am pretty sure that the Emperor we hear in Ziost story arc and SoR expansion is none of these two, yet he is not listed at SWTOR IMDB page.

If he was I would be super happy. Because even for Luke, he would prove to be a challenge. They would be helpless until some crazy thing happens. But seriously if Snoke was the emperor which entirely plausible that would be one heck of a story
