Question: is it possible to write the recipe in English. Or English sub titles. I know it’s immense work but the huge number of people following your channel will love it. I prepared this rasa. Excellent taste. I have a doubt. We grind the Masala (pepper, jeera, soaked tur Dal, coconut, red chilli). Boiling the tamarind juice with turmeric and adding the Masala paste gives a thick gravy type of rasam. Mami added Dal dilute liquid. Pl confirm whether we should cook dal separately and add the decanted water. Pl clarify and shoul

During demonstration, no mention is made to cook toor dhal. Is that toor dhal need to be cooked, smashed with water and pour that after putting grinded masala. ?
Mysore Rasam is normally made using dry coconut ( kopparai) rather than freshly grated coconut. The dry coconut gives a better and unique flavour to the rasam.

This is a good Rasam during winter. Pepper will give a soothing effect to the throat. Vaasanai Vera level due to presence of Dhaniya.

I make this with small variation in quantity of ingredients. Much less toor dal and more jeera and we call it jeera rasam. And less coconut
