Hey! This video is a bit old, but I wanted to share my issue and ask for advice. I got my motherboard and it came with a bent pin on the cpu socket, still it powered up and detected my ryzen 7800x3d. The problem is that it wasn't booting from a flashdrive to install windows, it just came back to the bios again and again. I tried downloading windows on my ssd drive in another computer and then trying to boot from it and still the same issue. It tried to boot from it but just came back to the bios again. I brought it to a technician and they said the motherboard is malfunctioning and told me to get my money back. I asked for a refund from amazon and I am waiting for the money in order to buy another one. My question is, do you believe it was a problem with this specific motherboard? Was there something I missed like updating the bios (wich I tried but had no idea how to do so)
I would be concerned that the bent pin was the issues or maybe just a bad board in general. since you did get it booted up to bios you can always check the version with the one on gigabyte site to see the differences.
I see you've a Ryzen in this, did it work with the CPU out the box or did you have to bios flash it? Getting a Ryzen 5 7600 and this motherboard, don't mind doing q-flash but it is nervewracking.
