  • NOTE:
    Newer 12.6km flight :
    • ZOHD Drift Dark Breeze...
Quite impressed with ZOHD Drift Dark Breeze performance - 10.59km from homepoint and 22.55km flown with only one third of battery capacity used.
DJI Vista feed was above 25mbps even from 10km away (Vista power level was at 1200mW).
This is the DVR from my goggles with WTF.OS OSD overlay.
    My setup was:
    Plane:
    ZOHD Drift Dark Breeze
    FC Matek F405-WMN
    VTX/Cam DJI Vista/Runcam Phoenix Nano
RX: BetaFPV SuperD ELRS diversity receiver
    GPS: BN-220
    Batt: 2S 3000mAh Sony VTC6A
    Transmitter:
RadioMaster TX16S II Max with RadioMaster Ranger 1W ELSR module
    Goggles:
DJI Goggles v2 with iFlight Crystal patch antenna

very interesting althought some R&D should be done to improve camera shaking that spoil the footage

So nice, I am awaiting my dark drift, got the vista ready and the liion aswell, where do you live, not a lot of RF interference I believe, never seen a DJI kit go 10Km out😮 how did you do that? Just fly high?

Actually, there is a later video on my channel where I flew 12.6km from homepoint with the same setup (just moved the camera to the nose with a longer coax cable from camera to Vista). I went a bit out of the city to open fields where there is not much RF interference.

    Nice range!
    Which antennas do you use?

Thanks! On the plane is stock Runcam Link that came with the Vista and on the goggles are iFlight Crystal patch antenna and TrueRC Duality stubbies.

Thanks, I’ve ordered some. Still using original dji ones, range is not so good.

How much would a setup like this cost to put together?

      @branislavmitic78  Год назад +2

BNF plane kit ~100$, FC ~50$, receiver 20$, GPS 15$ and FPV system you choose - in my case DJI Vista/phoenix and 20cm MIPI cable ~130$ and some 3D printed parts. So in my case around 300$. Plus batteries, but I build them myself so they are cheap.

@@branislavmitic78 would you consider putting a setup like this together and selling it?
