- We love lamb chops and we especially love BBQ lamb chops recipe, and decided to try grilling 21 lamb chops on the Weber 22 inch charcoal grill! These are what some call Lamb pops or lamb pop sickles. They are all basically the same thing. We purchased two complete racks of lamb plus a package of lamb popsickles from our butcher. For this lamb chop recipe we needed a good grill. We decided on the Weber 22 inch charcoal grill. With regular charcoal and some cherry wood for lamb, this is a great lamb pop recipe! Of course we needed a sauce or paste for the lamb chops. We used a rosemary herb and garlic paste. Other ingredients were thyme and some avocado oil, lemon zest and juice, some parsley and of course apple mint jelly for the base. It was sooo good! This herb lamb paste was delicious. We will leave the lamb herb past recipe down below.
You probably wanted to ask how many lamb pops can you get on a Weber 22 inch charcoal grill anyway? Well, we count 21 as of today! Be sure to come inside, watch the video and see how we packed all these lamb chops on the Weber Kettle, you will love it!
