You’ d think that Tahoe would realize if she came out and got the meeting started on time, maybe the residents wouldn’t be so angry. She left them wait for over an hour the day before and then had her chief goon come out and announce the cancellation. Again she makes them wait an hour! They got an hour to sit there and stew, the longer they stew, the more pissed off they are.
The residents are tired of being lied to. Someone is going to get hurt. This is terrible, ghetto, no leadership, going with someone's husband no telling what might happen.
Around the one minute mark I got out of my seat to ask the tall security officer who gave him the authority to adjourn a public meeting. He understood and walked away. It was the attorney's responsibility to say that to the security guard and the supervisor. The same attorney allowed the police to adjourn the June 6 Dolton board meeting, as well.

We do think it's important to keep our community informed about what's happening at Thornton Township meetings, and we will continue to be here after the drama dies down. There are many more stories that deserve telling, though they won't be as sensational as Tiffany Henyard's antics.
This reminds me of the books I had to read in school about how those folks said blacks acted when they first came to politics...👀 And the sad part is she's not the only black mayor running a township or big city like. You fill in the blanks... sad and shameful not to be on the top of our game when placed in a position of authority...🫣 I'll wait ⌛️
Those who want to speak, gather up and write down your demands, questions and accusations. It is a proven fact that she isn't hurt or scared by what you say so lets get more effective. There is power in numbers so get together for coffee and have your notes you want read in hand. Discuss what you want to say then write the speech in bullet points and used questions as the format. This is a list I wrote for Dalton to use. Such as * Can you show proof that the pool is covered by the village insurance and if so will you show that proof by the next meeting? * What steps are being made to organize the vendor debit that needs paid so bills for Dalton aren't being paid by Thornton. * What proof is there that the tree service has charged the village for the same tree being cut down multiple times and charged to the village. Can you provide the address's and dates to make it easier for the issue to be resolved You have a point to make, write it down then ask or say it at the time of question and answer for the public. I know the short time frame is hard to stay in but it seems the same people speak at every meeting so, get together, write down what you want to say, create a two minute speech that contains bullet points for each of you to read. Make one remark for your personal concern. So, two minutes saying the same thing as the others, putting the frame of the entirety in the form of questions. Start by saying, "Please record these questions. We want answers by the next meeting."
