- Embattled Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard got an earful from angry residents at a budget hearing that went off the rails in South Holland on Friday.
Tiffany Henyard can't speak English at the level of an astute 12-year-old.
She is a lifelong resident of Dolton…y’all really that surprised? O yea that’s right 99.9% of y’all not from around here

Illinois doesn't allow impeachment of mayors. Recalls are a pain in the ass too. Even if she's charged with a crime by the FBI, she can still refuse to give up her job until convicted. They need to push state legislators for a law allowing impeachment and removal of mayors.

Only reason police didn’t follow her order to remove the resident is because national media was there filming the meeting. Police knew it was either respect her first amendment rights or give news station filmed proof of they’re violating laws.
Also, it wasn't the Dolton police who are literally under her complete control.

No one should ever be ejected from a city council meeting based on the word of a mayor or any of the trustees alone, law enforcement should at their discretion determine if that person has become combative and disruptive.

That's because on Tuesday she had her people at the front doors telling everyone that the meeting was in a basement meeting room while she was actually conducting the meeting upstairs. By the time people figured out what was going on the meeting was done.

I think it’s important to show how the Supervisor tried to get one of the trustee to change her vote in the middle of them voting. Tiffany was talking to her for about 5-8 mins and the lawyer sat there and did nothing! Please show that part. It’s very important for everyone to see.
Residents cannot be removed from a meeting. That's not how public meetings work, not unless the township wants to spend more money on another lawsuit for violating a resident's 1A rights.

I don’t blame those Thornton residents one bit. If super mayor has stolen money from Dolton residents she will do again. When Tiffany canceled the meeting to today, Friday at 1pm, she was smiling. Tiffany figured the residents would be working and would not be at the meeting. She planned to pass the budget her way. I’m so glad the place was packed with residents. I’m glad the officers did not remove anybody from the meeting even after she gave the officers instructions. Apparently Tiffany doesn’t have any Thornton goons on her payroll. She’s talking down to them just like she did Dolton. She needs to be arrested with no bond. I’m sick of her. She cannot be trusted.

As a former resident of Dolton, in part of my childhood, I feel somewhat invested in this story as it moves along, and for the life of me I have no idea why she is still in control of anything in Dolton, though do understand that the legal processes takes time, maybe longer in the state of Illinois, with all its corruption that we have seen in the news for some time. She wasn't smart enough to commit crimes without getting caught, and definitely not smart enough to be any city's Mayor, with her lack of education and integrity. I hope the residents of Dolton get some closure, well as far as she is concerned, sometime very soon. I hope that part of her, what I believe is, criminal behavior, of paying herself way to much for the position of Mayor for Dolton, is some how confiscated and returned to the tax funds to operate the city of Dolton, to help Dolton residents get what they believe, and I believe, they pay their taxes for. Shame on this sorry excuse for a, black, woman/human, and definitely Mayor, for taking advantage of her position, and the residents of Dolton. I believe she would find a way to take advantage, of Walmart and it's shoppers, even as a Walmart greeter, since I believe that is just who she is and how she lives her life!
