Rebecca's recent interview reveals that 'my' is a term used in Gem society only to refer to one's superiors. This is why it is so important that Pink/Rose refers to Pearl as "My Pearl" because that is a phrase that would NEVER be said in their society due to Pearl's low status. So, for Rhodonite, I think this is less a case of confusing 'our' for 'my' and more a case of going to their trained phrase for how to refer to their superior.
I think she said "our," because Rhodinite never belonged to Morganite, meaning "my" would have been inappropriate. However, since Ruby and Pink Pearl technically belonged to her individually, "our" would be appropriate in this case.
i have some more evidence about the abuse thing.look at presumable ruby's eyes (bottom) they have that "I'm mentally unstable and i need help" look in the eyes its really saddening to look at them in most sences
I like the fact that Rhodonite's eyes look weird and her 2 pair of arms look different from eachother, probably representative of her insecurity, similar to the one Garnet felt when she first fused.
Do you think there's a possibility of Rhodonite have the same transformation like Garnet when she grew more comfortable and adjusted with herself/fusion? She looks fine but still kinda like a mess like Garnet once was, such as it could be possible for Rhodonite to just be more comfortable and have little changes. Examples of minor change could maybe just turn to be hair style, bits of clothing, and so on. I sound like I hate the way she looks but I'm just curious if she too can look a little different because it happened to Garnet herself.
Garnet does it though like multiple times. Saying “me, I mean us” “We didn’t want you meeting us like this” “Aw Steven we already love you” “I embody my.. I mean ruby and sapphire’s...”
DJ Howard I think she does that when she’s knowingly distinguishing herself/themselves. Garnet loves Steven, but she was telling him that Sapphire and Ruby love him to, because they aren’t the same person and she wanted I’m to know it wasn’t just garnet that love him. Same with the other examples. Even though she’s comfortable as garnet and at peace, she acknowledges that there are two halves of her.
I like to think Garnet does that to differentiate between herself and Ruby and Sapphire. She thinks of herself as a different entity (see: "I am their fury, I am their patience, I am a conversation" - Stronger Than You), so when Garnet says we, our or us I think she means Ruby and Sapphire as separate entities.
Saying My Diamond shows respect from one inferior gem to a superior one. Like saying your honor to a judge, I think the Pearl part of Rhodinite instinctively said My morganite, but because they no longer serve under her they switched to saying our to emphasize that fact. Earths Pearl has the same issue when it comes to mentioning diamonds.
Tamon Pearson Actually, "Crystal" Pearl never mentions her Diamond, everytime she mentions something before the war, she says "When i was serving Homeworld"
The last digit you get, is the character you are. 1 - Amethyst 2 - Pearl 3 - Steven 4 - Rose Quartz 5 - Garnet 6 - Lapis Lazuli 7 - Peridot 8 - Jasper 9 - Yellow Pearl 0 - Yellow Diamond
A great diamond... _alternative._ Morganite may be a replacement for Pink Diamond. Not like a solid replacement for making decisions or standing in authority, but a placeholder to keep her court or (excuse the term) armies in line rather than passing them off to another diamond. So instead of PD's Pearl being given to YD, she would be given to serve Morganite. Just a thought :)
Just- *wheeze*- a puny lil morganite screeching in a high-pitched voice at the "lower classes" omg just a 1-foot-tall gem of high authority- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
um, I think you're REALLY overthinking that first point. when Rhodonite says "our" she's referring to her components when split because that's who was owned by the Morganite. the Morganite technically did not have a Rhodonite, so Rhodonite wouldn't say "my" when referring to her former Morganite. She started off saying "my" because that's what she's become used to now.
when she says "when my-" Ruby's eyes are the prominent ones, but when she says "our" it looks like the Pearl is the one who is correcting her. It's almost as if Pearl is reminding Ruby that they are no longer in Morganite's service.
I can only guess 'boring stuff' to you are the Beach City episodes? Which, I would like to state that, if not for those 'boring stuff' episodes, I don't think you'd see the turn around in love for Lars. As with everything else in this show, at the end of the day, those 'boring stuff' episodes will most likely come back later.
Regina Woodard No just episodes involving the pizza family. That zoltron episode, most onion episodes, mystery girl ,and most episodes involving Ranaldo are also just weak imo. The episodes involving Sadie or Lars are great 90% of the time. Not really sure why you think I would find Lars boring
I think "My Morganite" simply reflects the pearl part of Rhodonite, after all we have seen blue and yellow pearls addressing their masters as "My diamond". This would mean that the slave mentality imposed upon this pearl is so strong that it still comes out in such a stable fusion and contributes to my belief that your theory about Morganite being quite a brutal master is correct.
Morganite is homeworld gem and a high rank gem. She creates Dresses for homeworld gems. She use her har as a paint brush. Red pearl/pink pearl(rhodonite) and ruby(rhodonite) is uer ruby and pearl. She Found out her pearl and ruby has a relationship. So morganite assigned 2 twin peach pearls that can rejuvinate both of them to forget there memories. But pearl and ruby kept fusing and coming back to each other. So morganite kept rejuvinating them. But rhodonite met the off colors when they knew they don't belong to homeworld so they escaped. There story is like a love story where the strict mother forbiddens his child to have a relationship
In the real world Morganite is a Beryl along with Aquamarine and Emerald. So in the show I believe there is something called a Beryl Elite like Quartz Soldiers. After all Aquamarine acts and is portrayed by Pearl as an elite, and if Emerald says "There were 67 elite Citrines guarding it!" she is most likely an elite as well as it does not make sense for her to own a ship that lower class gems would be guarding. Quartzes can also be elites, but only certain types in the show like Agates and Citrines.
Ryder LS ikr. This is why something as small as a new character is something to be so exited for. I don't like this show though it's just too boring and generic. Also the lgbt themes are there to bring in an audience but there aren't any religious characters or even characters with disabilities and The world building isn't good either. I can't see the show as it is but instead see an above average show that's so overrated that no-one can see all the flaws the show has
Jay 12 i agree on everything except the not liking of thevshow and the lgbt themes being there just to grab attention, i really like this show but as you said, it's overrated, it does not always succed at what it wants to do, some episodes are average and epsode like the Ronakdo ones are so annoying to watch, i personally did not feel like the plot was going to go where it is now in the first 3 seasons cause in the first 3 seasons every arc had a predictable formula of a new threat of homeworld going to earth but the crystal gems manage to save the day anyways by either defeating the homeworld gem or reedeming them, season 4 has actually the best plot episodes the shiw has si far along with the wanted special and the animation can sonetimes be so inconsistant to the point it gets annoying and i can't describe a character's physical appearence cause it literally changes every episode, but looking beyond all that, the show sometimes touches on mature themes and makes them nderstandable for both kids and adults alike, the show develops it's characters so well, probably with just the exception of Lapis and some of the human characters so far, but i personally feel like that will be fixed soon, but the point is that this development makes fans relate to the characters and feel for them more than in many shows and as i said the plot has been so much better lately and it seems like we are heading near the end, and as for your other statement i have to disagree on that, i personally feel like the crewniverse is making a show that feels personal to them and thus why there are LGBT characters, Rebecca Sugar is bisexual herself, but there is more to the show's appeal other than LGBT themes as i said before and there are characters whi do not necessarily are gay, bisexual or Lesbian and are beloved by people who watch the show cause of how relatable they are and how they get major development in the show like Amethyst and how depressed she gets in season 3 and in the season 2 episode "Too Far" knowing that she is defective and that she is not as strong as other gems and she as well as the other gems and Greg are dealing with the fact that Rose is gone in a way and that she felt bad in season 1 for that reason because she just has Garnet and Pearl other than Steven now and they look at her as childlish and she is always fighting with Pearl, to the point she has ti disguise herself and beat up people who are weaker than her to feel strong, but she does not need that now, or Peridot who started out as one of the first big threats from homeworld to the crystal gems and then she got stuck on earth cause of their fault and becaje a goofy villain until she was captured and then she was released but was weaker than everybody else and so she had to adapt herself to where she was now and try to get along with the people that she was forced to ally with for a greater good until she eventually accepted her current situation and realized how corrupted and irrational her idol was and that earth was a place where she could be herself and did not have to obey rules that made her look weak and did not consider as an indivitual she now views her old foes as friends and even though she had lost confidence in herself for some time she now has regained it discovering her powers and found out she still has a lot to learn a lot about earth and herself and was not as smart as she thought, or even Steven himself and how in many ways his character breaks the steriotype of the fact that being asocciated with pink, expressing his emotions and crying is seen as something feminine, childlish or only for people who are weak, in this show that is not the case and Steven has solved more problems talking than the geks have solved fighting, all that along with the development he has gotten so far is anazing, and the show also has beautiful backgrounds so that's a plus. But i think you are wrong in the show not having much diversity and not exploring other issues people have cause Lars is Filipino, Connie's family is indian, ect. And Lapis pretty much is a parallel to people with PTSD and Pearl has self steam issues and i think it is ok to say she also has ocd and all of this cause of her time spent as a servant. This is not my favorite show and it certainly has it's flaws but i think it is far above average and people do not only love it for LGBT themes, this is all my opinion though so it is ok if you disagree.
Why do i feel like their stretching out the series its been 4 and a half seasons and we still dont know what happened to pink diamond we have no idea who white diamond is and we still dont know how corruption of a gem works or how it can be cured or if well ever see jasper again and the origin of pearl and the gem war flashbacks :( why won't they show us anything with concrete proof?
Darknightng I prefer shows that stretch things out and tease you along their mysteries, I mean of course there's a limit but for me it makes the reveals and the twists feel more impactful. I honestly hope the final confrontations with homeworld are long ways off yet.
yeah it feels like things they should be telling us is being streched and we might only see answers till season 6 and i swear room for ruby was the worst episode and lapis was just terrible
i just wished we couldve learned u know one of the big mysteries out of 5 seasons maybe reveal roses backstory or something more about the gem war or even pearls origin
ik but it would've been better if they showed us bit by bit in seasons 4 and 5 it will be much if they just unloaded the big mysteries in 1 season in rick and morty we learn new things almost every episode but their completly different shows i guess so my point doesnt really stand. hopefully they start revealing stuff soon instead of airing one new episode and stop airing for almost a year
@@Flat_s0da Now, she is. She was the overall villain in the final battle and caused chaos. In a movie, if you defeat someone who was bad, they are the villain. White diamond is a dynamic character who changed from a villain to a good person.
Morganite is my gemsona, because my name is Morgan and she has a peach coloured Pearl!! She had a small bodyguard too but it was a small Jasper...and her fusion with the Jasper was a Rhodonite and I'm still shook by Rhodonite. Plus the two gems I related to the most at the start were Pearl and Ruby and seriously I love this so much!
DANG thats so cool!! My Morganite was a Pearl 'trainer' - she helps them with etiquette etc, but secretly hates how robotic they become, so she rescues the ones that show a bit more personality haha
Jellie Bee I have a morganite gemsona too and like rose she gives birth to a human girl who I proudly named Morgan, and she lives with a bunch of gems :D
@TheLosersaccount Rubies don't always guard Sapphires. They always guard high ranking gems such as Morganite or, now that spinel is the only spinel ever, our best friends Spinel!
Based off of things that rhodinite has said in the show, especially with the frame of reference of when she says this, her correcting herself from "my" to "our" might have been a sort of enforced way of self conscious thinking that they're completely inappropriate
i also love how the crewniverse is showing that for love to last, to be forever, they don't have to be complete opposites. that they can bond and be together, drawn to each other if you will, by their similarities! and their showing us that through another permafusion, built on love; rhodonite. this may also be another bit of foreshadowing that stevonnie will become permanent. wow that just went from one thought to another....
I honestly really like the idea of Rhodonite representing a relationship in which the two are supports during a frightening event. It shows just how deep the Crewniverse looked into how different relationships are formed.
i’m not sure if this was addressed yet or not, but morganite is a type of aquamarine. this can help us put her ranking into perspective in terms of “gem eliteness”
How Rhodonite will unfuse She is on earth with Lars and the other of-colours when morganite walks past as she is on earth for a vacation She notices Rhodonite and looks at her with disgust as she is not used to cross gem fusion Rhodonite sees her and hides behind flouride Morganite says “it’s you that pearl and ruby I replaced” Pearl and ruby have an argument whilst fused ruby says to stand up to her while pearl says not to They un-fuse
The Ruby may have been the the first Ruby to own a Pearl the reason why eyeball wants a Pearl is because she thinks she can own one because a Ruby already has owned a pearl
Sayhi 123 maybe both the Ruby and the Pearl belonged to Morganite, but Morganite was abusive, so both the Ruby and Pearl fused as an act of rebellion; then they retreated, meeting one of the other off-colors. Just a theory.
I love how so many characters in this show have many different layers. Rhodonite having a backstory of abuse, Jasper being not as bad, steven questioning if rose was justified in shattering pink diamond, etc... That is what I love so much about this show.
I love how you used the real world equivalent for morganite. When I theorise for su I often use the real world version for backup evidence. Because the description for the spiritual use is often the gem’s personal similarities. Like rhodonite is used for purpose of expelling anxiety, which is quite funny considering how anxious she is.
You probably have the best steven universe theories I've seen!!! There constantly things I have not seen before and well thought out. I love your videos!
Legit what I thought. When I clicked I thought it was the roundtable. Then I saw that art and was like "oh a different Artist" and then I look and was like oh-
I think another reason rhodonite might be so scared is because she's part pearl. With the exception of blue, all the Pearl's we've seen seem to be anxious and quick to get scared or unsettled. Yellow might not show fear directly but she seems to get scared whenever someone upsets her diamond like what happened with peridot and the look of worry on her face in rose quartz's trial when zircon starts spouting stuff off in defense.
Pearls are apex servants. Rubes are considered common "cannon-fodder". Rubies are instilled with the idea that they exist collectively, and not to dwell on their individual lives. THIS was a scandal indeed, even greater than Garnet's.
I really dig this theory! and it also kind of explains why Rhodonite's appearence looks unstable: remember that the better the relationship between the component gems, the more stable looking is the resulting appearance of the fusion; if she is supposed to be a fusion by choice, why isn't her appearance more stable-looking? always wondered that... thank you for your insight on that! ❤
What I like about Rhodonite is how by covering up one pair of eyes she can be showing 2 completely different thought processes, like you can literally see what her pearl half and ruby half are both thinking at a time.
Mmmmh... Matt Burnett said that when two gems with the same gem placement fuse their gems are one next to the other but never actually confirmed it, saying that the show hasn't gotten to that point and that the story could change about it. Maybe the gems fuse, it would be cool
If Morganites are anything like Agates, than it is entirely possible that the Pearl and Ruby that make up Rhodonite were physically and mentally abused by their former master. If Agates like Holly Blue are able to get away with treating those beneath them as badly as Holly treated the Quartz gems in her power, than Morganite would be able to do this without a problem.
I think you can interpret the 'my' being replaced w/ 'our' in a few ways. I really like the idea that it's part of her wanting to say 'my Morganite' out of respect, but changes it because she's not her Pearl/Ruby anymore, she Rhodonite. My first idea was that she preferred singular stuff, but Gem society drilled into her head that fusion is wrong+gross, so she ended up thinking of herself as two separate gems that should be fused but are but still for sure feeling like one person? Not sure if that makes sense, but yeah. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
I’m also convinced that morganite was definitely a part of pink diamonds ‘crew’ or whatever. And after Pink was ‘shattered’ she just abused every lower class gem, cause she didn’t have pink to warn her.
But remember Steven hitting bismuth with the sword and she poofed so I doubt it. And I know bismuth didn't have time to change it back because she was poofed by rose too and bismuth herself even said it never shatters a gem's gem, only their physical form.
Nah this theory can be debunked, because if you watch carefully when Steven discovered Rose (Pearl) shatter PD, rose (Pearl) immidietly show PD's Gem...so no
I love how this episode shows how "different gems" are treated differently just like in our world. cause the gem with the two heads has what we call a "birth defect" and the ruby is what we call "slow".
The fear of death and betrayal are things to watch out. Both had to fussed on accident and later discovered their bond. They refer them selves in plural to keep their existing bond as two beings in check. Garnet has to help them as well as every friend.
great job and thanks for your great videos,, i got a bit inspired by them so i began to analize a little doubt i had (i dont know if this is the right place to put this but i wanted to know what you think), what was the porpouse of the rose quartz type of gem soldier since we already have seen several soldier gems types (rubies, jaspers, saphires, emeralds?, topaz) and although all of them fall in the same category each one has their distinctive characteristics for general porpouse(ruby), "power corps" (topaz), assault (jasper, saphire) and so i think i figured out what type of soldier rose was designed to be and that is a battlefield doctor and these are my reasons 1- she has a big onstitution, she is quite strong maybe stronger than Garnet (she stopped the fortune wheel at max speed) which allows her to withstand the inclemencies of the battlefield 2 - she has the ability to float and hover is the air giving her a better mobility and a better view of the battlefield letting her to pinpoint where she is needed in a short ammount of time 3- her summon weapon is a shield insted of an offensive waepon (her sword was made by bismuth and cannot be summoned, is stored) 4- she can create sentry units (magical moss, watermelon stevens) in order to make a safe zone where to treat the injuried gems 5- she ca heal gems with her magical tears 6- she was designed (maybe) with the natural empathy for life so she could risk going to dagerous places to recover and protect comrades 7- and recalling what peridot said homeworld was already running low on resources to make new soldiers (reafirmed by how they made the beta kindergarden) so by that train of thought it is " cheaper to make a unit that can recover, repair, heal other already existing gems than to spend a greater amount of resources into creating new ones which is a good invesment since we already know that a single rose quartz was able to maintain a smal army all by herself. But they just made her way too empathetic with life and thats why she began or agreed with the rebelion. So what do you think?
A relationship can often form out of crisis intimacy , and often ends when the situation is over. In mental hospitals, people often start relationships while inside and never speak to eachother again once released ( from personal experience when I was a teen)
I like Rhodonite. Notice how when gems fuse their actual gems change color too. Take Garnet for example, her gems are the same color. But Rhodonit's gems are different colors. Her pearl is pink, however her ruby is darker like her skin tone.
Silas Reliford But if she's Pink Diamond's Pearl then why her gem is on her chest and not belly? Uff, why don't you guys just accept that she's just another Pink Pearl belonged to another pink gem? Pink Diamond isn't the only pink gem in the galaxy
Amy dean am You're right. But people are too engulfed with their theories and thoughts to actually pay attention to the details and listen to what an episode actually says.
Edit: While rewatching the moon episode saw the depiction of Pink Diamond again, now I get why people are mentioning the stomach issue. Unlike the two diamonds we have seen, Pink has her diamond on her stomach, so yes, if she had belonged to Pink Diamond and then was switched under Morganite after PD was shattered, the Pearl would be the stomach gem, not the ruby. I was wondering that, since the other two Diamond's Pearl's have their gems on their chest. Not sure why everyone is saying it can't be Pink Diamond's Pearl since the gem isn't on the stomach. Yellow Pearl and Blue Pearl definitely have their gems on their chest and not stomach? I do think the chest gem makes sense since the diamonds we know also have their gems on their chests, so having the Pearl's gem placement match seems significant.
Anne Noremac She isn't Pink Diamond's Pearl because Rhodonite clearly said in the episode that her owner was a Morganite and never mentioned a Diamond.
The pearls have the same gem spot and look alike look at Blue Dimond and her pearl or yellow Dimond and her pearl look at the gems let's rewind back to the answer u may or may not see a gem with her gem or her chest that's also pink that might be rhodonite's former master
Very enjoyable video. I also think it's interesting how whereas Garnet's changed her color scheme to be more organized and less sporadic (as compared to their first fusion.) Rhodonite's hair and color scheme still feels very quickly put together (almost like one they re-fused, it was in a hurry and has been permanent ever since. If that makes sense.)
This is interesting in context of the fact that despite having been around for quite some time, they've never moved past a together-image similar to Garnet's first fusion, which visually we can describe as less intentional, mature, and united. This seems like a big detail, too big to be an accident the Crewniverse didn't mean to drop as a clue, so no matter what it is SOMETHING about Rhodonite's past that will be revealed to us is going to explain why her fusion has never gotten more comfortable being a fusion despite remaining as one.
If we go by our Pearl and our Ruby, both can be incredibly awkward and both are prone to worry. If Morganite’s Pearl and Ruby were abused and originally had the same temperaments as our Pearl and Ruby, that would only be accentuated in their fusion
We actually know what Rhodonite was meant to be thanks to a Virtual panel with Rebecca Sugar. The Pearl and Ruby were meant to have a place in Steven Universe Future (I think) where it shows that they fell in love, were rejuvenated, and fell in love again. iirc, Peridot was supposed to build a machine to find out how many times a Gem has been Rejuvenated after the movie, and Rhodonite would have been reset about 17 times. It would then show the viewer Rhodonite going through and trying to remember all these lives, and how every single time the Ruby and Pearl met and fell in love. I'm pretty sure Morganite was meant to be a villain of the series too. However, due to time they never managed to make it, they were strictly stuck to the 20(?) episodes that were produced. There was too much new stuff to cover, and they simply had to cut it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Morganite abused them. Higher-ranking Gems tend to be hostile towards lower-ranking ones.

Whoa, now that's a good idea! That would explain a lot in the show!
Rhodonite is my favorite off color ❤️

Ooooh. Tiny dictator Morganite.
If she's as much of a bitch as Aqua M then Rhodonite is definitely better off as far away from her as possible.

Why was if odd for him to says "the" pink pearl? I've only watched 18% of the show throw clips of scattered episodes

um, I think you're REALLY overthinking that first point. when Rhodonite says "our" she's referring to her components when split because that's who was owned by the Morganite. the Morganite technically did not have a Rhodonite, so Rhodonite wouldn't say "my" when referring to her former Morganite.
Honestly it's theories like this that really make me wish the show would focus Less on the boring stuff and more on what makes the series great
I prefer it at the current pace because it leaves time for people to get hyped and theorize.
Regina Woodard some beach city episodes are funny and nice but I guess since it's more story episodes this season, people expect that
Regina Woodard
No just episodes involving the pizza family. That zoltron episode, most onion episodes, mystery girl ,and most episodes involving Ranaldo are also just weak imo.
The episodes involving Sadie or Lars are great 90% of the time. Not really sure why you think I would find Lars boring
Ryami Ryamyn
That's fair
If you look closely Rhodonite’s eyes are exclamation points !_!

Omg I see it
Oho... gosh that was logic hahaha
How on earth did you notice that?
The Great Diamond authority? Pffft nah the Great Diamond alternative

The Great Majora ikr XD
The Great Majora I never appreciated that until now
In the real world Morganite is a Beryl along with Aquamarine and Emerald. Quartzes can also be elites, but only certain types in the show like Agates and Citrines.

i hate that Steven Universe airs one new episode and then doesn't air anything for almost a year. Like c'mon man!!!!!
Ryder LS ikr. This is why something as small as a new character is something to be so exited for. I don't like this show though it's just too boring and generic. Also the lgbt themes are there to bring in an audience but there aren't any religious characters or even characters with disabilities and The world building isn't good either. I can't see the show as it is but instead see an above average show that's so overrated that no-one can see all the flaws the show has
Jay 12 they're gems why would they be religious? Lol and the off colored gems ARE "disabled"
It has not been at all close to almost a year. They've never gone THAT long without airing an episode. It's been a few months.

I honestly hope the final confrontations with homeworld are long ways off yet.
yeah it feels like things they should be telling us is being streched and we might only see answers till season 6 and i swear room for ruby was the worst episode and lapis was just terrible
i just wished we couldve learned u know one of the big mysteries out of 5 seasons maybe reveal roses backstory or something more about the gem war or even pearls origin
ik but it would've been better if they showed us bit by bit in seasons 4 and 5 it will be much if they just unloaded the big mysteries in 1 season in rick and morty we learn new things almost every episode but their completly different shows i guess so my point doesnt really stand. hopefully they start revealing stuff soon instead of airing one new episode and stop airing for almost a year
I like stretched out shows but yeah, it's starting to get annoying.... they could at least reveal more small bits of the bigger picture

That's a theory I've seen theres another where the gem is supposibly red diamond. Since red diamonds are rare and they sometimes come in heart shaped.
Its white diamond
Fire Meteor no it isn’t, white is good now
@@Flat_s0da Now, she is.

How Rhodonite will unfuse
She is on earth with Lars and the other of-colours when morganite walks past as she is on earth for a vacation
She notices Rhodonite and looks at her with disgust as she is not used to cross gem fusion
Rhodonite sees her and hides behind flouride
Morganite says “it’s you that pearl and ruby I replaced”
Pearl and ruby have an argument whilst fused ruby says to stand up to her while pearl says not to
They un-fuse
Wow
I actually want to see garnet and rhodonite fuse like really badly pls fuse
Sofea Iman Mohd Sadzwan that would be close to sardonyx i imagine.
The Ruby may have been the the first Ruby to own a Pearl the reason why eyeball wants a Pearl is because she thinks she can own one because a Ruby already has owned a pearl
Sayhi 123 That's actually a good theory.
Sayhi 123 maybe both the Ruby and the Pearl belonged to Morganite, but Morganite was abusive, so both the Ruby and Pearl fused as an act of rebellion; then they retreated, meeting one of the other off-colors. Just a theory.
Gabi Garzon Or maybe morganite was just abusive to pearl like about to slap pearl then Ruby just jumped in and accidentally fused with her
‘Gems in the show and our world differ’
So real gems don’t turn into people? I’ve been screaming at my moms ring to form for nothing?
I love how so many characters in this show have many different layers. Rhodonite having a backstory of abuse, Jasper being not as bad, steven questioning if rose was justified in shattering pink diamond, etc... That is what I love so much about this show.
I love how you used the real world equivalent for morganite. When I theorise for su I often use the real world version for backup evidence. Because the description for the spiritual use is often the gem’s personal similarities. Like rhodonite is used for purpose of expelling anxiety, which is quite funny considering how anxious she is.
i feel like rhodenite said "my morganite" as the pearl side of herself and then to get back to unity corrected herself to our.
You probably have the best steven universe theories I've seen!!! There constantly things I have not seen before and well thought out. I love your videos!
Did I just find a bootleg version of the roundtable
Yes
I hope we actually get a pay off to this name drop in season 6 because it kinda feels like Rebecca Sugar has forgotten about these characters.
Daniel Cooper I've been feeling like this for months
I would just like to say you and your videos are sooooo awesome! Thank you for being so committed to your work
When you realize that rhodonite have a ruby on a stomach and the one ruby have a gem on stomach....... NAVY?!!
What I like about Rhodonite is how by covering up one pair of eyes she can be showing 2 completely different thought processes, like you can literally see what her pearl half and ruby half are both thinking at a time.
what happens if two gems who have their gem in the same place fuse?
Mmmmh...
Matt Burnett said that when two gems with the same gem placement fuse their gems are one next to the other but never actually confirmed it, saying that the show hasn't gotten to that point and that the story could change about it.
Maybe the gems fuse, it would be cool
Florite has multiple gems in the same place, though, like on her chest and forehead.
All time a space are ripped apart.
Either that or thier gems mix and actually make a new gem gem instead of thier body being reffered to as the gem?
The only difference would be size, however the colour could change in shades?
I thought Sapphire and Ruby had their gem in the same place but it was on separate hands on Garnet
I honestly see them as an abuse survivor kinda story
What if bismuth sabotaged roses sword and made it a shattering tool which wasn't discovered until it met pink diamonds gem.
roottruthseeker That seems plausable
But remember Steven hitting bismuth with the sword and she poofed so I doubt it. And I know bismuth didn't have time to change it back because she was poofed by rose too and bismuth herself even said it never shatters a gem's gem, only their physical form.
😂😂😂
Nah this theory can be debunked, because if you watch carefully when Steven discovered Rose (Pearl) shatter PD, rose (Pearl) immidietly show PD's Gem...so no
Seeing comments like this is funny now that we know that pink diamond faked her own shattering and was rose the whole time
She is so cute and perinoid
I am from the future and pink pearl was hypnotized by white diamond
isnt it funny how many internet arguments and threats happen because a theory on a show about a gem named steven who fights for almighty pink mom
I enjoy the design of Rhodonite's character, and wish we'll learn more about her story in the future.

"The Answer"
I love how this episode shows how "different gems" are treated differently just like in our world. cause the gem with the two heads has what we call a "birth defect" and the ruby is what we call "slow".
The fear of death and betrayal are things to watch out. Both had to fussed on accident and later discovered their bond. They refer them selves in plural to keep their existing bond as two beings in check. Garnet has to help them as well as every friend.
Love you so much love you theories such a big fan
great job and thanks for your great videos,, i got a bit inspired by them so i began to analize a little doubt i had (i dont know if this is the right place to put this but i wanted to know what you think), what was the porpouse of the rose quartz type of gem soldier since we already have seen several soldier gems types (rubies, jaspers, saphires, emeralds?, topaz) and although all of them fall in the same category each one has their distinctive characteristics for general porpouse(ruby), "power corps" (topaz), assault (jasper, saphire) and so i think i figured out what type of soldier rose was designed to be and that is a battlefield doctor and these are my reasons
1- she has a big onstitution, she is quite strong maybe stronger than Garnet (she stopped the fortune wheel at max speed) which allows her to withstand the inclemencies of the battlefield
2 - she has the ability to float and hover is the air giving her a better mobility and a better view of the battlefield letting her to pinpoint where she is needed in a short ammount of time
3- her summon weapon is a shield insted of an offensive waepon (her sword was made by bismuth and cannot be summoned, is stored)
4- she can create sentry units (magical moss, watermelon stevens) in order to make a safe zone where to treat the injuried gems
5- she ca heal gems with her magical tears
6- she was designed (maybe) with the natural empathy for life so she could risk going to dagerous places to recover and protect comrades
7- and recalling what peridot said homeworld was already running low on resources to make new soldiers (reafirmed by how they made the beta kindergarden) so by that train of thought it is
" cheaper to make a unit that can recover, repair, heal other already existing gems than to spend a greater amount of resources into creating new ones
which is a good invesment since we already know that a single rose quartz was able to maintain a smal army all by herself.
But they just made her way too empathetic with life and thats why she began or agreed with the rebelion.
So what do you think?

This is too underrated
I think there are higher positions than The Diamonds in Steven Universe.
(One of them is Morganite)
A relationship can often form out of crisis intimacy , and often ends when the situation is over. In mental hospitals, people often start relationships while inside and never speak to eachother again once released ( from personal experience when I was a teen)
I like Rhodonite. Notice how when gems fuse their actual gems change color too. Take Garnet for example, her gems are the same color. But Rhodonit's gems are different colors. Her pearl is pink, however her ruby is darker like her skin tone.
What if after pink diamond was shatter pink pearl went to Morganite
Silas Reliford
But if she's Pink Diamond's Pearl then why her gem is on her chest and not belly?
Uff, why don't you guys just accept that she's just another Pink Pearl belonged to another pink gem?
Pink Diamond isn't the only pink gem in the galaxy
People just don't get it huh if rhodonites pearl was pink diamonds pearl her gem placement would have been on her stomach this one is on her chest so
Amy dean am
You're right.
Anne Noremac
She isn't Pink Diamond's Pearl because Rhodonite clearly said in the episode that her owner was a Morganite and never mentioned a Diamond.
The pearls have the same gem spot and look alike look at Blue Dimond and her pearl or yellow Dimond and her pearl look at the gems let's rewind back to the answer u may or may not see a gem with her gem or her chest that's also pink that might be rhodonite's former master
Can the new episode/s happen already?
It was a season premiere so it took a long time to start making new episodes again
Your the best at what you do!
Thanks for the ❤️ you are the best
