I don't know, my favorite design is the most recent one because it has the color blue. The previous designs (except for cotton candy Garnet) was too Ruby - ish because she has too many reds.
I like the most recent one cause now it seems that they have thier own thoughts beyond just Garnett. They know they're gonna love each other even when thier not fused at the hip(literally) like being Garnett confirmed thier love and it does but now they love each other beyond the sum of thier parts of just being Garnett lol.
I tip my hat to Rebecca sugar and the crewverse for making a delightful story, one that teaches people that it’s okay to be different, a show that says it’s fine to be a work in progress and gave all disfranchised groups a voice, to say that this series has change and touched so many lives would be an understatement, there are just not enough words in the entire world to describe how impactful, Courageous and beautiful this show is and is an achievement not just in animation but In media period. Steven Universe and other well crafted pieces of story telling reminds me of a quote Don Bluth said and it goes like this. "With movies, you are always in search is a good story, one that everyone will relate to and love. I love finding those stories and creating a visual world to tell the story." Honestly I couldn’t have agreed more because that’s what Rebecca sugar and her crew did create a visual world that is unique and inspiring that will continue to encourage more creativity for years to come.

Hey slice, i know you said you were struggling and couldn't really watch SU future because of it. I wanted to let you know that I watched all of the show. Sat through every hiatus and adored everything about it. Future was incredibly insulting for me, it felt as if they clumsily handled the mental health in it and destroyed good plot points that I was *very* invested in. I'm still very sad about how the show ended. So first - major fan squee that you actually took my (and probably others') suggestion of doing Garnet next for this series. :) 'Preciate it and as expected, it's a great video. On Ruby and Sapphire for a moment - I know people like to state they fell in love at first sight, but even Garnet would be the first to deny and contradict that. I absolutely believe Ruby may have been attracted to Sapphire and the latter was definitely intrigued by the former, but love for them didn't happen until after being on Earth and after being in teh Crystal Gems. I'm sure you've heard/believe the theory that Rose's words to Cotton Candy Garnet on not asking questions was an unintentional command, given her Diamond status, and honestly, it is the one thing that makes sense as to WHY Garnet - and to extension Ruby and Sapphire - never once questioned Rose or her actions. I'm hoping that SUF will actually have post married couple Rupphire for all of us to love. As for Garnet being leader, I have always maintained that her being the leader was not a choice she wanted; it was given by Rose and possibly - like the above - something Garnet couldn't actually refuse. I've always believed that Garnet did and does the best that she can, but as some have noted, she's not always in tune to the emotional well beings of the others, especially Pearl and Amethyst; in many cases, she's like Steven in that she wants harmony or at least some resolution so the team can get back to business saving the world and such. I still don't think Steven is remotely ready for any leadership role at this point, though he's at least showing the qualities of being able TO lead ONE day and I think because of her experience, Garnet would make the request a little bit differently than Rose did. And to point out, she and Steven HAVE had their differences, like in Warp Tour; I think any teen angst Steven goes through would still be met with understanding on Garnet's part, but she definitely wouldn't tolerate any babyish behavior from him and would absolutely call him out on it.
