  • The recent hate on PSA leaves me wondering why ?
    Call me a shrill or a paid endorser but I do not receive ANY products from ANY company for free or to test .. I buy, I shoot .. that’s it.
    I just figured it’s best to come out of you tube retirement and discuss it .

    I don’t understand it either! Mine ran just fine with no issues suppressed and unsuppressed (some tuning required). Great video. Just sub’d.

    Thank you for the video! I have about a thousand rounds on my 13.7 Jakl. Only problem I ever had with it was the charging handle / sled hitting the handguard / receiver and denting it a bit. But it's one of the early models and that was common. All the screws were torque'd down properly when I got it and had loctite applied.
    I saw Deskpop talking to FocusTripp in his comments and suggesting more than a sample size of one before he posted a video diatribe. It seemed a bit unprofessional on Tripp's part. Deskpop made a bunch of recommendations to PSA with things they found wrong / need to be improved and PSA actually made those changes.

      100% agree. The video made ripping PSA only made him look like an ass as well as a few of his followers that jumped on the troll wagon. There was no need for it and could have been more professional by simply addressing the issues with a video with PSA. But it turned into a free for all of ignorance which helps no one in the end. Does PSA have QC issues ? Yes, I have had issues with their application of lock tight but only after I inspected the weapon prior to shooting and simply made a call to customer service where I was assured it would be addressed . No need to go on the war path and call out minions who more than likely only heard of an issue on AR15.com and like a parrot repeat it .. got an issue ? Record it and discuss it with PSA .

    Goes to show that the only reason it's getting hate is because it's at a price level together with ol faithful. Suddenly good enough isn't good enough

      @@VulcanXIV I don’t find the price restrictive which is why I bought 2 and will be buying a third. I have put so many rounds thru both that I have hung up most of my ARs . Suppressed or unsupressed they just run. And once you get used to the impulse of the rifle your times get faster. I just find them fun to shoot, easy to clean and more. They are a bit front heavy but nothing that can’t be overcome with practice. But I hear all the time would I bring it to the battlefield ? I didn’t know there was a battle going on in the USA and I have had FALs, AKMs , M4s and more all have failures overseas .. most of the time ammo related or magazine related. Way too many CALL OF DUTY bench warriors in the gun community who think running 3k rounds thru a weapon in a given afternoon is a good idea. I think the highest amount in an hour overseas that I dumped was five out of six mags on semi auto before the shooting stopped.

    Kudos for the PSA compliment! While no firearms manufacturer is perfect, Palmetto State Armory has improved their products and continue to do so. I know because I own 4 PSA rifles from .308 to 6.5 Creedmoor and two .5.56 rifles and no problems. Should I have an issue I have a lifetime warranty. Again, no manufacturer is perfect but I can afford the products PSA manufactures.....

      @kalashnikovmania2074  Месяц назад +3

      Thank you.. and yes their lowers are fine. I would recommend the newer nickel type trigger that they use in the Jakl. You will notice a improvement over the mil spec trigger. Also being able to have a engraving such as US Government and more personalizes your weapon. Don’t let the PSA trolls discourage you from having a good time shooting.

    Every firearms manufacturer has had QC issues. It's how manufacturers handle the QC issues. PSA has a pretty solid reputation for fixing issues with their firearms. I have the 13.7 JAKL and I really like it so far.

    Congratulations!!! Glad you are happy, doesn’t negate anyone else’s opinions. It’s a known FACT that PSA lets their customers T&E their products and when issues arise they give them RMA# and miraculously there’s a GEN2 shipping. That’s not the way IMO. If you’re good with that, great! Congratulations again.

    I agree with everything you said except 1 thing. A complete gun should run right out of the box. The common person shouldn't be expected to inspect the gun and identify potential issue's. Would you buy a new car and then go thru the whole thing to make sure it work's?.

      It’s up to the individual if they want to. Personally after working as a defense contractor at ARADCOM in NJ I witnessed many weapons come in that were out of spec and sometimes dangerous to even be issued. I never take chances and neither do any of the shooters I am with. We have seen too many instances of bad QC from many companies. And yes I inspected my 2021 twin Calloway Camaro prior to delivery having to drive to Maine where it was being built. My Aprilla sport bike went thru the same inspection and I constantly inspect them prior to track days.
      So if you want be my guest, open the box, load a mag and have at it BUT don’t complain when the weapon takes a dump. If you saw how many Colts, Barettas, Sigs and suppressors were rejected prior to issue ( out of the box) your jaw would drop.

    There are a bunch of people who have gotten lemons from PSA. Some people get replacements that also turn out to be lemons. Considering how much more we hear about this compared to almost any other manufacturer it seems pretty clear to me PSA has terrible QC.

      Have you personally seen those lemons or are you basing your comment on what you heard? Do you own a PSA ? Have one that had issues ?
      I’ll be making a video over the next few days if I get time at my local indoor range that rents PSA AKs and ARs exclusively for range use and you can see for your own eyes how they run and the thousands of rounds put thru them .. they still run.

    There's a middle ground between hating on a company and shilling for them. Is what they are saying true or not?
    Focustripp showed that he wasn't making stuff up about his jakl. Others have had good experiences. I've had a FN barreled PSA rifle from 2018 that works fine and puts up 1.5 MOA but their AAC ammo is all over the place and people are telling the truth when they chrono it and see wild swings in fps.

    • @kalashnikovmania2074
      @kalashnikovmania2074  24 дня назад

      Focus took issue with the 1913 rail which if he had looked would have noticed an issue with the coating throwing off the spec of the rail. The rail wasn’t bent, the rail wasn’t machined wrong. Just simply in the tank a. It longer than needed causing the issue which could be fixed by a simple file, Emory cloth or sent back to PSA explaining the issue professionally. Instead he took it as an opportunity to step on a company that is bringing new products to the table where we could be without anything thanks to sanctions and also felt it necessary to step on Garand Thumb calling him a shill.
      Very unprofessional and ignorant on his part. And now we have a mud test in which the Jakl passed, 9 hole reviews in which it passed as well as my reviews bringing the Jakl out to 600m with different types of ammo.
      The issue is immature trolls who either can’t shoot worth a shit or talk garbage and have never owned one but yet they “ heard it”..
      I now just purchased 2k rounds of AAC ammo in both 55 and 62 grain and will be testing it and using a chrono at Picitinny arsenal to see IF there are deviations in the FPS that will cause issues.

    • @flopus7
      @flopus7 24 дня назад

      @@kalashnikovmania2074 Garand Thumb is a shill tho. Well produced but he likes every thing sent to him.
      I bought somewhere around 500 75 gr. Bthp. I've chrono 200 fps spread in them.
      PSA innovating on products has no bearing on whether their qc is good or not.

    • @kalashnikovmania2074
      @kalashnikovmania2074  24 дня назад

      You also mentioned “ wild flips” and deviation in FPS . With range ammo, standard ball you will get a FPS deviation from 30 FPS to in some cases 100 FPS on standard range ammo. AAC is standard range ammo loaded to NATO specs making it a “ hotter “ ammo. I have yet to see a video on AAC ammo with wild swings in FPS suppressed or unsuppressed. The only deviation I have seen is testing with SBRs VS 16 inch and above barrel lengths.
      Again I already purchased enough AAC ammo to do a test using the Jakls and Steath along with the CZ Bren 2 which I will post sometime later this year when testing is done.
