I orderd a gen 1, 14.5" ODG Super Duty Upper through a Geissele distributor a couple years back. Recently had found a hairline crack inside the upper, sent pictures and a description to Geissele, they sent me a shipping label, I sent them the upper. They inspected it, replaced the upper, tested it after replacement, and sent it back to me. Whole process from first to last email took maybe two weeks and didn't cost me anything. Solid communication throughout the process too. They're spendy, but they'll also stand behind their work and fix shit when it breaks.
Smith n Wesson always has for me as well. Even when it was my fault, no more questions asked parts in the mail for free. There's plenty of stand up companies that take care of its customers. (Plenty who won't as well)
@@fleatactical7390 Looked to me like a hairline crack that happened during either machining or assembly, that was then covered when the upper was anodized, becoming visible after the BCG wore some of the anodizing away. The round count was probably around 1k, I've carrird the rifle hiking more than I taken it shooting. The crack was not in an area that received any direct impacts, my guess is a machining error, or maybe the barrel nut was over tightened during assembly? It was inside the upper, just above the ejection port, starting behind the barrel nut threads, and continuing back towards the rear of the receiver, along the bottom of the sidewall of the channel the charging handle sits in.
@@MOUNTAINBROTHERACTUAL Ahhh ok, that makes sense. Because my real question was "WTF were you doing to the poor thing to break it like that???" LOL Most likely caused by the machining process. Perhaps defective metal casting leading to that? I wouldn't think overtightening of any component would cause that extensive of a crack. Otherwise ARs would be blowing up left and right from weak metal. Kind of makes me wonder if that was just a fluke though.
If you are on a budget, I always am, I recommend a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II or a Ruger AR 556. I've had both and both ran flawlessly after 1000's or rounds. At the time of purchase, the price points of these two were around $650.00.
Thanks for the confirmation, not that I needed it, brother! First FA putchase I've made is nothing but a Taurus tx22. Ammo is where I think 9mm should be. If the ATF doesn't do us in with our 2A rights, these prices might.
My smith and wesson sport 2 has served me well over the last 9 years. I cant afford that level of rifle, but the s&w sport 2 is one most every day blue collar workers can afford.
I’m a total noob, I have a Ruger 5.56, don’t know much about optics, but channels like this I’m a friggin sponge. Thanks, and respect for military service. God bless.
I'm right there with you. I bought my Ruger AR-15, back in '18 or '19. A "Ruger" mind you! A 1:8 twist, can handle most ammo, and is very accurate! I've been able to acsseorize, and will hopefully put a can on soon, with a binary trigger, maybe a different stock...but whatever. I think a lot, a whole lot of us believe that soon we are going to be in hand to hand, street to street, swapping lead and copper with zombies to tyrannical military members, in 24/7 all day all night, eating jerky, protein bars, drinking water out of creeks, streams etc. with sleep, coming only when the 'bad" guys stop shooting! But folks, yes it's going to be bad! The absolute worst time ever! Yes many of us will die! Some will make it through! So just remember, battles just don't go on for 24/7! So having a "medium" price on any "assault" defensive weapon, AR, AK, PC, ect. will more than likely get you through! So train, train, train with whatever you have! Even a lever action! So "aim small, miss small"! Don't think that just because he has the highest priced biggest named brands, doesn't mean that, that brand name will be of any help in a fire fight! Remember this too. "Thompson", M1 "Garande', "Armalite" We're all brand new brand names, that hadn't proven themselves at all! But look where those weapons are now! And so we won't know if Daniel Defense, or LWRC, is actually "better" than a long time, always reliable company of Ruger, etc! So purchase what you can! But I've played a Lot of basketball,...never ever wore any Nike, or even Addis! But I scored a lot, stole lots of balls, grabbed many rebounds, and my Converse worked just as well as the guys wearing Nike! So price means absolutely nothing!
I'm a former 11bravo or infantryman and I have a ruger 556. Great rifle especially if ya change the buttstock, pistol grip and heatshield. But you can def do worse than a ruger.
I asked that same question. I haven’t tried EVERY trigger out there, but I have tried many many different triggers, & by far the Geissele Triggers are the Best. Over rated? I don’t think so. But everyone has there personal choices. I’ve got 5 or 6types of Geissele Triggers SSA-E X (3 of them) G2S (2 of them), Super Dynamic Enhanced (SD-E), Super Tricon Trigger (2 of them), & Hi-Speed National Match (3 of them). The SSA-E X is by far my favorite. Oh yeah and a ton of ALG AR triggers & a couple ALG AK triggers. If there’s a better trigger for what I use them for, I’d love to know & try them out too. I am a 2 stage Trigger fanboy, so I’m kinda partial!
You sir are blessed to be afford such a rifle , for myself no fault but my own is struggling to buy groceries. I love this country and gun makers who try their damnest to make a good gun for an affordable price
Several really great things about geiselle - they come with SSA-E’s out of the box (best trigger for a fighting rifle hands down, excels in rapid fire and precision shooting alike), they have one of the best BCG’s in the industry, you can order a 14.5” pin and weld with a surefire warcomp (open tine/ SOCOM RC2 mount), and you also get the enhanced buffer system, the one that’s an AR10 length tube with an m16 / rifle length spring, but fit for an AR15. This combination of trigger, muzzle device, buffer system, and BCG make for a phenomenal gun under $2k. The beauty in the gun having these specific upgrades already is that they’re some of then most meaningful upgrades you can put on a gun to optimize performance, and they aren’t quite cheap. You can find them on sale (primary arms are legendary for their sales, think 1/3 off or so on the trigger, for instance) often, and rather than spend $1400-$1600 on a duty rifle, then another $240+$135 + $150 + tax + labor … you can get all that stuff from the get-go, installed professionally and with the entire rifle checked over by amazing quality control teams, ensuring their very tight tolerances and mechanical specifications have been met. Great guns.
I’m a big supporter of Criterion Barrels with BCM upper parts & bcg. They both make an excellent product. Criterions customer service will go above and beyond to answer any questions you may have, and they ensure that you get the product that will best fit your needs. That means a lot to me in this industry where it’s such commonplace to disregard their paying customers.
I was a massive BCM fan until I bought a bolt that would close on a 5.56 No Go gauge on a Criterion barrel. It closed on the same gauge on all of my other rifles as well. Their response? As long as it closes on a field gauge it's good to go. While this may be true per mil spec TDP, this made me realise that BCM really doesn't care about being any better than the minimum mil spec standard. I've taken my business elsewhere.
@@danieldotter6077 i should have specified better, edited now, I haven’t had any customer service experience with BCM but Criterions customer service could not have been better.
My KAC shoots -6 MOA. That means the auto-aim will correct misses to ten rings if I'm within 6" of the target. Auto-aim was included in the purchase price.
@@Justin31789not true. Do you always parrot what you hear without actual research? On a totally different topic, I got a bridge to sell if you’re interested? I totally own it. Trust me, bro
It's a great rifle for sure. My choice though is the ADM UIC Mod 2. It comes with most all upgrades you'd normally add to a rifle. Including full ambi lower, the Geissele 2 stage trigger, a chose of muzzle break, raptor ambi charging handle, Talon ambi selector (45 degree)
I am a super duty owner but my buddy I go shooting with owns a ADM uic mod 2 with the criterion hybrid barrel and it is a sweet rifle. He was able to get a 2in 5 round shot group at 200m with it using an 8x lpvo. I wasn't able to do that with the geissele but I was just using a 4x acog. I almost got an ADM but I didn't want to wait on it to be delivered they said it would be 3 or 4 months.
We really appreciate your business and the review! We agree that all AR's are not built the same, and we want to get the best possible components to our users. Let us know how the Tactical Games go for you, would love to see some videos!
I have a LWRC in 5.56 and a 300 blk upper for it and I love it. In my most humble opinion it is as good and often, FAR better than most on the market! Thanks for the great video!
Yes, I own both and I prefer my LWRC DI over the Geissele. Mine doesn't get that dirty and my vertical grip doesn't touch the gas block. But I have the 13 inch mLock rail installed also.
I have 2 LWRC rifles DI in.300 Blkout I have had no issues with my gas block hitting anything. LWRC builds an amazing rifle and is under valued/not much RUclips love in the higher midrange AR market.
This video reminds me of every Glock owner ever, Glock perfection right out the box. All you have to do is change the sights, trigger, and mag release, and it's perfection!!!
It doesn't need anything, he even says it comes with a great trigger. For the type of competition he is doing he prefers a different trigger. People who have shot quality triggers have favorites. He is tall and does not need a short stock so why have one that moves?
I remember when Glocks first came out.... I REFUSED to buy a plastic gun.... I'm a .45 man!... now I have both.. Glocks are incredibly accurate.. I qualified with my out of the box Glock 19 and my out of the box $2,000 les baer custom... which I also love.. both are great.. but the glock is cheap and good as the best..
I built a Wilson Combat(.308) for a clone mark 12 build(I know it’s more mark11 or sr-25 variants) all off of BLEM parts, but all WC. These rifles are $3K plus without optics. I built mine for a little under half($1500ish) w/o optic. It is a tac driver. I searched every website for WC Blem’s or clearance and was patient. Took about a year, but finally pieced it together. Well worth the wait. Could hardly find any blemishes on parts and they were all in spec. Be patient and vigilant and turn Manufacturer errors into your gains!! Stay thirsty my friends!! FYI, I did not use Blems for barrel. Don’t want to go cheap on that part!
Very nice rifle you picked up. I built a Super Duty out of Geissele Christmas sale parts. Completely G except for the barrel, which I chose to use a Daniel Defense for. Went with a green upper, and DDC (FDE) lower. Saved about 40%ish vs a factory built. I also have G Mark16 rails and triggers on a few other Colt ARs. G’s stuff is pricey, but if you can catch it on sale, which they run a few times a year, you can get some great deals.
just bought the sport 3 a few weeks back. put about 500 rounds through it and only had 2 malfunctions. but the 2 malfunctions were the first 2 rounds because it was STRAIGHT out of the box. love it
I have the exact same one, but pistol version. I’ve got close to 2000 rounds through mine and just took another rifle class with it last weekend. Absolutely love it. It’s my go-to if SHTF.
I picked up a Radian model 1 a few months ago... it was a bit more then the geissele but im supporting a local company that make great products.. sub m.o.a confirmed. even without the black hills ammo recommended. I do like the geissele's though good choice!
I've ordered three parts from G$ here and there. A charging handle which was out of spec and didn't work. A scope mount which was out of spec and didn't work. An MR762 trigger which works, but isn't as good as the factory trigger it replaced. From my experiences I don't see value in G$ products, though perpetually online shooters seem to love them.
I agree. I like the handguards, but thats it. I don't even buy his triggers anymore. Larue MBT is a better value and I feel more safe. And the internet is filled with unhappy reports about the barrels.
I have this rifle and others to compare it to, it has several upgrades and it is a superior rifle, you sound like you’re salty because of the price of G$ parts, I get it, my truck gun is an aero assembled by me with a G$ trigger.
I’ve got all Geissele parts on my builds. Back 2-3 years ago I bought a 14.5” Super Duty for a class. Used it in the class & fell in love! The only things I change on them are the safety selector (Radian GI Safety) & the pistol grip (Magpul K2+). I have bought a 10.3”, 11.5”, & 16” in 556 nato. Thanks for doing this video. Everyone has their favorite set up, the Geissele Super Duty is by far my favorite!! I’ve got some 3,000$-5,000$ rifles & the Geissele’s I bought right after Shot show at 35% off. So I only paid 1,300$ +/-. Dollar for Dollar & Pound for Pound It’s the Best rifle platform I own!! EDIT:: You changed the trigger? I’m not sure if I’d do that, but to each their own! The Geissele Trigger is what got me buying Geissele parts. I’m curious as to what trigger you used & how it’s working for you?
I've been using Centurion Products since 2007 or 2008. Centurion CM4 is by far my favorite. Colt , Centurion , BCM and LMT I've been using for the longest . SOLGW M4-89 13.7 V2 HF With Ambi CONTROLS Lower is another phenomenal Factory Carbine . I've never really been Geissele Fan . Love their triggers but I prefer Centurion. Monty is a good dude who builds top quality Rigs . My go too rig is Centurion CM4 Custom 13.7" MIDWEIGHT HF On LMT MARS-L Lower
My SHTF rifle is a Ruger AR- 5.56 standard. It's not even a free floater. It's well built, sturdy, accurate right out of the box and is just as LETHAL as my CMMG'S. It's not always the car, it's mostly the driver. Practice with what you have. Become proficient with it, not everyone can afford to drive a Porsche.
As ‘ol Ferris once said, “If you have the means I highly recommend one”. For the average guy, in my humble opinion, PSA makes a hell of a great overall product.
Instead of being jealous of someone's capability to purchase the best rifle possible, maybe people should get their crap together, so they can improve their life and their purchases. Love this channel and the content.
@@calebwhite1999 I am far from poor. I am retired, doing well. What I am not is a pretender snob like yourself, though. That's the difference, Mr. "High-roller" 😆
Great choice. One quick note: spin that barricade stop around so you can run that rough flat portion up against the barricade and pin it between the barricade and your shoulder.
Ive heard this is a really nice gun, never shot it but easy to believe. Geissele makes great stuff, my favorite triggers by far. I personally have a Noveske but all brands listed here are top notch 👍🏽
A nice review and covered a lot of details for this particular rifle. It is true all ARs are not created equal contrary to some other reviewers. Stick to what you know and train with. I was raised on Colt and for better or worse… I still stick to that brand and I do not jump into the rabbit hole of component “upgrades.” Only recently, have I delved into Daniel Defense ARs. Again, I work with what the manufacturer provides and spend a lot of time studying optics and working with the iron sights on any given weapon system. If you can afford a high level AR and then feverishly start swapping out components… go for it. That’s the beauty of our sport/hobby. To 3 of 7 Project… I love all of the content which most certainly helps me focus on my faith, health, and mental focus.
All I have to say is never get rid of that green one because they don't make them anymore all you can get now is the black or the ddc I made the mistake of selling mine 6 moths ago and I have spent the last 4 months trying to replace it but mine wasn't the o d green mine was the 40mm green great looking rig and great video love the channel!!!!
Psa Sabre 14.5 with FN CHF barrel, Hyper fire rbt trigger, fathers of freedom BCG by microbest, carpenter 158 bolt steel, upper/lower forged, springco springs, magpul funiture with a Geissele handguard with steel QD mounts,Radian raptor C/H, with a JMAC KEYMO MOUNT muzzle device for $1249 in my opinion is the best out the box ar15 for the money, on point with a bcm but $300 cheaper, excellent rifle when matched to a 1-6x LPVO of your choosing, 14.5 ballistics are around 2980 FPS
You make a good point. What you get for the extra $300 is that extra bit of deburring/fit and finish, and overall quality control with rigs like BCM. There are a lot of knowledgeable hands and eyes inspecting a BCM before it gets shipped. You just have to decide whether it’s worth the extra $300 for the rifle that, although you can’t seem to put your finger on it, just feels smoother and shoots better. Not knocking PSA, they ship some good stuff at reasonable prices, but there IS a difference.
It’s strange how I don’t get notifications when your vids come out. I have to randomly look for your new ones. I’ve click the bell but I know RUclips doesn’t like people like you and me.
Geissele makes a great carbine; and of course, perfected the AR trigger. I have the piston version of the LWRC (M6 IC Enhanced), and it runs much cleaner than the DI variant. This piston version is used by British Special Forces (ultra compact for close protection) and the Swedish SOG - and has extensive combat experience since 2006. I also own the piston version of the LMT Mars LS. Moreover both rifles have an adjustment to prevent over gassing when running a suppressor. Geissele did win a huge AR-10 SOCOM sniper contract - beating out the Knights SR-25 among others - so that puts them in great company.
PSA Sabre product line is the best firearm for the money. I have sold a dozen because they sell themselves once you look at what you get. I stock a couple models and bought one for myself.
Can get these for much cheaper on holidays, sales etc. Colored variants go for as low as 1600$. I did see a black 16" go for around 1300 during this past Christmas. Excellent trigger, shoots well, albeit the rail makes a bit heavy imho.
I have two and they are the best ar I have ever owned (out of maybe 25 different models) Not a single failure and they will shoot sub moa easily If you ask me, it is the best value in an ar 15 money can buy right now
I built my AR piece by piece. Bravo company receivers with ballistic advantage Hanson barrel. Rise armament bcg and 535 trigger. Radian raptor charging handle. It has no kick at all. Clean shooting and sub moa accuracy. It was a fun build.
*The fact is, most working middle-class Americans can not afford high-end expensive ARs. In fact, affordable reliable rifles like the IWI Z-15 Tactical, Palmetto State Armory PSA-15, Diamondback DB-15, S&W M&P 15 Volunteer, Ruger MPR 556, Radical Firearms RF-15, Springfield Armory Saint, and others alike, are most popular among the working middle-class. The actual truth is that those rifles mentioned perform well for home defense, security, target shooting, plinking, and hunting. They are perfectly fine and provide the service intended for. Truthfully, most gun owners can not afford a Geissele Super Duty 5.56. This is a fact; it is too expensive for the working middle-class.*
$2k isn't high end. Its a mid tier rifle.and no it isn't a "fact". It cokes down to ehst is important to you. A rifle that will run in any condition isn't important to most people. These are the same people who buy a rifle. Then don't spend the time and money to get training to learn what they don't know. If you can't afford 2k for a rifle you definitely haven't spent a dollar on training. Which means luck better be in your side if you ever need that rifle.

I’ve owned owned a couple of those Geissele rifles and after one to many issues I replaced them both with a couple LWRC DI’s and never looked back. These things are tack drivers and most accurate AR15’s I own and even after thousands of rounds on my LWRC DI’s I’ve had ZERO issues. LWRC rifles are one if the highest recommended rifles accepted into United States Military, Geissele is not, only their triggers.
I built my own G 14.5" rifle. Pin and weld suppressed is my favorite. I also went green on my upper and lower but with a black handguard and stock. I also own a DD and many others
That definitely looks pretty nice. I like to support local where I live. I also like AKs because they're old and cool so the piston system of the PWS I bought a while back has been a really good rifle. Another company here local that I chose for a DI was NEMO, I really like that AR a lot. I've found on rifles that if I spend a bit more money it's totally worth it because if I don't I start tinkering with it and end up paying more money for a rifle I bought to save money in the first place. Conversely, there are great affordable mid range priced pistols and I don't buy really expensive ones anymore because with a pistol more money doesn't necessarily equate with being better all the time.

Because my real question was "WTF were you doing to the poor thing to break it like that???" LOL
Most likely caused by the machining process. Perhaps defective metal casting leading to that? I wouldn't think overtightening of any component would cause that extensive of a crack. Otherwise ARs would be blowing up left and right from weak metal. Kind of makes me wonder if that was just a fluke though.
I believe most manufacturers do. Not gunzngear however.
If you are on a budget, I always am, I recommend a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II or a Ruger AR 556. I've had both and both ran flawlessly after 1000's or rounds. At the time of purchase, the price points of these two were around $650.00.
I have the original sport she’s still running strong and a PSA M4 no issues
Right now. Anything you have or can get to protect yourself with the 2A is a great firearm.
Well said
Thanks for the confirmation, not that I needed it, brother! First FA putchase I've made is nothing but a Taurus tx22. Ammo is where I think 9mm should be. If the ATF doesn't do us in with our 2A rights, these prices might.
Amen and well stated!

"Thompson", M1 "Garande', "Armalite"
We're all brand new brand names, that hadn't proven themselves at all!
I started with a Ruger, they are great starter guns. They have cold hammered forged barrels
Ruger makes good ARs for entry level shooters.
I'm a former 11bravo or infantryman and I have a ruger 556. Great rifle especially if ya change the buttstock, pistol grip and heatshield. But you can def do worse than a ruger.

Their triggers are over rated, like the rest of the gun.

Become a you tuber dude

I have Daniel Defense for several years. Excellent accuracy and never had any problems. Thanks shoot every week.
Thanks Chad. I have a 16" and 14.5" of theirs. Great shooting rifles and not ONE malfunction so far. Thanks Brother
This video reminds me of every Glock owner ever, Glock perfection right out the box. All you have to do is change the sights, trigger, and mag release, and it's perfection!!!
I don't change any of that on mine, add optic + light, zero issues, so yes perfection
Don’t forget slide stop and guide rod. 😂

I think that's what the Army SF guys use the DD barrel in their geissele urgi uppers. Really good choice

You make a good point. What you get for the extra $300 is that extra bit of deburring/fit and finish, and overall quality control with rigs like BCM.

AGL is their sister company the ACT battle trigger is super solid for under 80.00 now at most places.
@@kevinhullinger8743 Wow great deal
@@kevinhullinger8743 love the ALG act for single stage. But the LaRue MBT is my fav 2 stage.
@@KrKr_FL I would agree 👍
I love my Geissele URGI upper especially after they corrected the earlier finishing issues. I did the same thing with my LWRC.
Bigfoot doesn’t stand a chance!!!
Awesome..love the videos. Thanks for you effort to get them out.
Have this exact rifle, color and everything. Also the matching one in 10.3 as well. Completely agree on the title of the video too!
@warriorssetfree appreciates you brother! Proverbs 3:3!
AGREE - Their QC is outstanding. Right "out of the box" you get the trigger, rail, buffer/spring and charging handle that you'd put in a custom build. Head-space that bolt and I don't know what more you could ask for.
I knew the second I saw that rifle it was out of my league financially and probably for most of your viewers. Nice rifle sure, but in the real world most of us will never be able to afford one, consequently I bailed on this video shortly into it. My world: Smith & Wesson AR for $500.
PREACH IT BROTHER .. !!!!! $ $ $ $
The title was "BEST" not most affordable. 😂
Love my M&P sport 2🤙
@@jluther1755 I'll drink to that one with the money I saved🤣. Trigger, magpul stock and free floater and only in a grand total and could upgrade over time making it super easy on the pocket and nice.
The thing is if you can't afford something that you want, all it takes is just save up a couple weeks or months. But either way nothing wrong with S&W. Shit I started out with a DB15.
Check out the core 30 from core rifle systems out of fla. Mil spec and good prices. Got a core 15 that's my beater and have had it for a decade. Shoots sweet.
For the man where money is not an option. Maybe we should be watching blakes review? You immediately changed three things and call this OUT OF THE BOX?? Nuff said average guy.
He said in the video everything that came with it was fine. He mentioned in this video and precious videos about why he's changing things for his competition shooting.
lol this dude doesn’t realize even if a guns perfect out of the box. It’s still always gonna get a upgraded grip, trigger or stock but grip and triggers are usually always a first
Jackass...
dont be broke
You sound like the guy that buys a Taurus G2C and says it’s just as good as a sig😂
I love the way you're calm and relaxed before you change a mag
Only $2,300 🤦♂️
Geissele runs big sales a few times a year. I got mine a couple of years ago for around the price of a BCM.
$ $ $
@@improbability they had one 2 days ago. 14.5" were going for 1200 bucks.
Catch them on sale on Black Friday etc
Build one using count blemula parts to save money
Nice. Geissele makes good stuff. I have a there 11.5” SD upper and all my triggers are SSA or SSAE.
The best rifle is the one that will take care of business, regardless of price. Nuff said.
Geissle Super Duty for 1260. They were just on sale. Nobody is close
I hope alot of people in here know that you can get a decent decent rifle for half of what he paid for his "green" gun. For someone that says he's broke alot apparently ain't broke like alot of us if you can spend over 2 grand on a rifle and have time to make a video. I'm not hating but as Joe says.... C'mon man.
True, a Kia will get you from point a to point b just like a lexas would.
Some parts of a build you just can’t compromise. BCM makes a really good product too. Just finished a 6mm ARC 24” EArthur Brown barrel build that’s never been tested. You’re motivating me to get out there and send some down range, even with less that standard glass! Keep us updated and good luck at the competition. Oh yeah…I need that wall in my life :)
I have four BCM rifles in various configs and a Gieselle. I put the Geiselle triggers in my BCMs lol. But I prefer the BCM Rails.
Gotta try the radian mod 1. In my opinion the radian is the best. No doubt. Hands down.
Based on what?
@@ChineseChicken1 based on how it functions compared to the Geissele or DDM4v7 or any other major competitor…obviously lol. Function, form, aesthetics, reliability…radian lasted way longer in burn down testing. And it just flat out shoots way smoother.
You clearly haven’t run “Tactical Games” Types of events or at least not enough of them with that set up. LoL … You put a PRS Lite stock on a 🔥💪 you need for “run & gun” / “cross fit” event type of things WTF … THEN took probably the greatest trigger of current times out and put in a cassette style trash trigger that you needed to put Anti-Rotation pins on for WTF … THEN you put on a gimmick grip from a Trash Bag Anti Freedom Back Stabbing Company like Wilson ((never been to)) combat AND to top it all off you claim this is your pick for “THE BEST OUT THE BOX AR”?!?! Bro you put out a lot of great content but please reevaluate your decisions here. Not Good!!!
AND JUST AN FYI … GEISSELE Does Have The USASOC Contract For Their URGI = Upper Receiver Group Improved and That Went Through A Very Limited Test & Evale (( so it wasn’t considered favoritism )) But The URGI Was Very Much A Made To Order Situation. With That Said, That was The Only One Tested and Not The Super Duty Line up Such As The One Represented In Your Video Here. While The Super Duty Is A Fantastic Item, It Absolutely Wasn’t “Military Tested” and Or Approved.
I'm interested in learning more, what would be some of your best out of the box ar's and what would you personally use, custom or factory choices.
@@magi5587The Geissele line up are all fantastic “Out of The Box” AR’s but if you take things like the Trigger and other Components out and replace those with inferior stuff it changes that. Personally it all depends on what you’re going to do with it, expectations and budget. I feel in NO particular order bc it depends on the individual more then the tool more often then not that ……
BCM - ((Pretty Darn Hard To Beat In Regards To What U Get For Your $))
SONS OF LIBERTY - ((Same As Above But Also Has The Most NO Nonsens Warranty On The Market))
GEISSELE - ((Sticker Shock Is A Thing But They Also Have The Biggest Sales & Most Frequent Sales. Can Be Had At Great Prices))
DANIEL DEFENSE (( Probably Get The Least For Your Money But Still Good Stuff))
These Last Two I Suggest People Research Heavily Before Diving In But Definitely Industry Leaders!!
LMT
KNIGHTS ARMAMENT
are all fantastic choices to buy slap an optic on them get some ammo and start shooting.
Now are there other options? ABSOLUTELY This just happens to be the short list off top right now.
Feel Free If You Have Any Questions.
1:30 funny enough, I'm like Blake. That's why i can look back at my collection and see minimal waste and minimal poor purchases.
Same here! Haha
Interesting to see the barricade stop backwards for that keyhole window shooting. Makes total sense
I have a OD green Super Duty but I built it piece by piece as I could afford it and when Bill ran sales over the years. Part by part, piece by piece and it's all factory parts except the barrel. I used a Daniel Defense CHF 16" Mid length 1/7 rather than his marked ones. Might even be the same....who knows?! Might be FNH too as they also make CHF barrels.
I'm thrilled to hear this review, because I have the exact same rifle , mine is 16" also in ODG, I love my Superduty!
You know, when I first saw your content, I thought, "who the hell is this guy"? But after watching you for a while, I have come to respect the hell out of you. Thanks for your service. I have one of those Super Duty's, and a couple of BCM Recce's. Both are amazing. Good luck at the Games!
I have the 10.3" Super Duty. It's awesome
My 3 were put together by me 20 years ago and my frankin rifles have many thousands of rounds shot.Im stickin to my old stuff but glad your happy with your new rifle bro.
So the stance it is best OOB rifle right now because...well.from the video i guess the stuff that makes it best are the green finish, ambi charging handle, properly built and staked screws, properly space handguard from barrel, uhh...the bolt catch i think you called out as good...stock trigger is good...
I learned nothing about the rifle here, and i still dont get why it is priced like it is...but it is the best. Wouldve liked to have learned a bit about what makes it so good other than just hearing you and your brothers opinion that it is. I guess i will just do the research blake seemed to do
Love the SOLGW rifles also - absolutely solid hard-use rifles that are stupid reliable and awesome shooters.
My SOLGW is an animal!
If i didnt have the sound on, i could not tell when you were shooting it all. Makes me feel like i need to man up more on my rifle lol appreciate the video
Watching while on the move to visit family in Virginia. Love you guys. Getting my 3of7 fix on the road today. Love you all
LWRC IC A5 is short piston, the gas port has cup with ridges inside which scrapes carbon then it gets blown out so much cleaner than DI
I prefer piston AR’s. I have an HK MR 556, HK MR 762, and a couple of Adam Arms AR’s. They are ultra reliable, run very clean, pass the over-the-beach test and don’t explode like DI guns, and do better with suppressors than a DI gun.
I'm with you. But I'm a pws fan boy . Mk111/116 and 218.
My LMT piston was so clean and accurate, it was amazing. Lost it in house fire.😣
Purchased a 14.5 Super Duty a few months ago. Man was I impressed! the only thing I changed was the grip. Other than that, it's an amazing weapon out of the box!
Love my super duty. The only thing I changed was to swap out the ambi safety for a non-ambidextrous one
Sincere question, why the AR platform choice and not the AK? ( think I know but would like to hear). 2nd question, why not spray paint a firearm green?
