Just watching Friday Night Live...
I never particularly liked Ben Elton back in the 80s or 90s apart from some of his work like Blackadder, but seeing this show, makes me realise its literally been decades of us slowly having less & less political satire against the Tories... its virtually unknown now. Its almost as if the establishment have control over mas media & most anti establishment stuff is never normally shown on TV anymore? And also, after decades of comedians getting worse & worse and no good sitcoms, you start to realise, compared to the sh*t that comes out nowadays, Ben Elton is a f*cking genius and hj*larious... I mean, in the 80's he was seen as kinda safe & family friendly for an alternative comedian... nowadays he looks like the most outrageous person alive! We need a f*cking revolution... the youth of today is pathetic...

Comedy is contextual. I love Mack on Panel shows because I find his quick wit and ability to bounce off other comedian's material brilliant; but they're also the reasons I don't think I'd enjoy him doing stand-up where he's on his own and you know everything's scripted
