That oyster sauce recipe sounds like a biological weapon.
i love how the guy at 4:45 was so supportive of Lee
and when Lee imitated frying stuff in his pan, the guy said "I'm there!"
and "I think you're incredible, man.."
love his energy!
"That guy" is Jordan Stephens, you would do well to remember that
Incredible? As in "not credible"?
Brilliant :D
Seen it fifteen times, always happy to come back to Steve Jenkins.
don't forget Brian Smith
It’s the toilet duck that does it for me.
Apparently Steve has been taking English lessons , coming on well
every time I see this, the thing I adore the most is how much fun david is having with lee's story
Funny fact. My name is Steve. My uncles surname is Jenkins. I am Chinese. I was so close to being Steve Jenkins hahahaa
I’m Chinese and do most of my own cooking (with oyster sauce) and I learned a lot from Lee…
Is your name Brian by any chance?
@@iwua37 Sadly no but I had a lot of fun in the mid-90s...
Wok Around the Clock is a catering company founded in the UK a year after this was broadcast.
Nobody else drawing that card would have stretched the details so ridiculously beyond the minimum needed for plausibility. Or wound up creating such a gem of a whopper. That's genius on the fly.
Right, on the fly that is.
When he mentioned Brian Smith at the end I laughed way too hard! 😂
This story is riveting, it's like a mini theatre show. Love it.
These WILTY clips are my happy place
surprised Lee didn't say 'seven - for everyday day of the wok' 2:48
You know the same way you do a toilet duck? 🤣
If you have a peanut allergy, you are NOT welcome!
Lee was not wrong about using peanut oil over olive oil, and oiling a wok around the rim.
Yes, but if you try to follow his directions for oyster sauce, the only thing you will succeed in producing is listeria.
If this were true, David would surely already know about it.
Of all the episodes, this is my favourite 😂
Glad to see this officially on RUclips with the entire Steve Jenkins portion of the story.
Sort the captions though.
I love how Jordan is losing it the entire time, what a guy!
This is a classic
Watching again before going to sleep. 😂🙂
This is gold 😂
I wish this was real
Interesting that he suggested sweet and sour pork balls, as Lee is a vegan! But I suspect that wasn't the only clue that there may have been some invention involved...
This episode came out in early 2018, filmed in 2017. He may not have been vegan/vegetarian at the time. He started with a move to vegetarianism for a year or two, then went vegan and I believe he's back to being a vegetarian from a podcast I caught a couple of years ago. But I agree, something else just rang untrue. If only I could put my finger on what it was.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 brilliant
I've not seen this one before - Lee was amazing. He should bring out a book of his made up recipes as a parody book lol
WILTY why are your videos some of the very few on RUclips with neither official captions nor auto-generated captions? Deaf folks are being ignored, here.
1:34 that lady looks like she’s having a ball
What did “Penguin didn’t p-p-pick it up straightaway” mean?
I think there may have been a children's program in the UK that had a penguin that stuttered.
In the UK there is a chocolate biscuit called a Penguin. The advertising used the slogan "p-p-p-p-pick up a penguin". Also there is a big book publisher called Penguin Books. He was just making a joke with the chocolate biscuit's old advertising slogan.
Got it, thanks!
I’d buy it
How long did Lee spend working on that cooking monologue?
Curiously, oysters purify the water around them, not the other way around😂
Maybe if it was a RUclips cooking series it could’ve been more believable.
I want that book
Good comedy!
Lee mack can u really put this book into publishment/can u produce it?
I just met a real Steve Jenkins. He was not a baby
Episode 8?
7
steve jenkins
They only took Steve in because he became too big to step over!
Uncle Roger approves
The guy who keeps interjecting and saying things like "that's delicious" is a pain in the arse.
Only u has this issue
