To see Sean laughing, and I mean properly chuckling to himself in every shot he's in with Bob, just goes to show that Bob is a national comedy treasure, just the same as Sean is/was.
Bob is one of those golden characters who you hang onto every word they say. I don't think this is an 'act' as such, he genuinly is in a world of his own. When he does 'Would I lie to you' it is impossible to tell when he is lying as his true stories are beyond rediculous anyway. An absolute legend who reduces me to tears of laughter, one of the funniest men ever.
His WILTY stories are hilarious and as you say near impossible to know the validity of them purely based on the tale he tells. He is a proper golden character as you put it. Shame to hear he's suffering with his health recently.
At first I though eskated must've been a word I didn't know, after reading your comment before watching the video. I then googled it and thought: "OK it's not a word, what an idiot for spelling escaped wrong, I'm going to comment and correct his mistake". I then realised I don't want to be that guy, correcting mistakes made in a comment thread. Then I watched the video and was humbled.
Very good haha I was about to say something similar but you eskated it to another level. (Is there an emoji for winkor?) 😉 take care, enjoy the festivities 👍
Wasn't Bob the fella who offered his legal services to Jarvis Cocker at the Brit Awards, before he realised he was a bit out of his depth with Jackson's lawyers?
Bob is criminally overlooked for the big shows or his own shows because he is absolutely hilarious beyond belief and such a likeable guy at the same time. Possibly most underrated comedian in the UK.
seeing Sean is brutal :( what a huge hole that'll be in any show he was featured in. What an incredible comdian. Don't even know the guy but the feeling I had when he passed, was as if I did.
It saddens me to know we’ll eventually be seeing clips without him. That’s the good think about the older clips, we have Sean in them. Absolute legend, his humour was brilliant
Everything Bob says is funny, and his delivery is such that you never know if he's joking. He's not just deadpan, he's dead-and-buried-and-slightly-confused-pan. The man has cornered the market on intentionally unintentional humor.
Sean laughs at Bob a lot because they have a very similar style of humour where they just throw a curve ball out of nowhere. You never know what they are gonna say next. Sean does it with his jokes, Bob does it with his mascots he pulls from under the desk.
Absolutely. He is hysterical and never responds to any situation in any way that you would expect . I read somewhere that he trained as a solicitor. Can you imagine his advice on problem solving? Or how he would plead in court.? He is a tonic to watch.
Thank you for posting this, the whole thing is just sheer magic 😂😂😂 very best wishes health and happiness to all, genius Bob and RIP another genius, dear Sean Locke much missed🧡
I love him with Paul Whitehouse in that fishing programme - I think the fishing is incidental to the show its just listening to them chatting is an antidote to just about anything.
I can only dream of Bob being mine, and I suspect it's the same for you. Nonetheless, even though it's not exactly true, the idea can still lift us higher to paradise.
When you can make the brilliant, legendary dry humoured comedian that is Sean Lock crack up, you're a pretty funny guy! Lol Bob is such a joy to watch takes me back to Shooting Stars days as a kid! Rip Sean.
Bob had his fair share of misery growing up, if he'd been born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never had to work for anything do you think he'd be the same person he is today?
To see Sean laughing, and I mean properly chuckling to himself in every shot he's in with Bob, just goes to show that Bob is a national comedy treasure, just the same as Sean is/was.
