Randy, all 4 of your latest buys are real SCORES! As far as the Tiburon goes, if you are getting enough views on YT, then fix it up just a little more before moving it on. If not, just move it now. It’s a shame you could not hook up with another OKC retail car dealer who would take your cars and give them another home around town. Hail, even if you could just break even that way, the YT revenue would still make it profitable. That would be better than losing money running them through IAA. I wish you nothing but the best, young man. You deserve it! 👍

If it was the Genesis Coupe, I could see it. But I will say Tiburon's listed on Autotempest are like 10-11k. So thats up to you. But seriously look at Auto Tempest prices. Nick is a great kid. My kids have no interest in working on cars. So it's nice to have that bonding with him.

I would fix the dent and paint the handle on the Hyundai and then clean the headlights and replace the burned out lights. After that send it though the auction. The car does deserve that. That's really one hell of a nice ol' F One Fitty. It has to be a one-of-one. Must have marked every option on the order form but on an XL trim instead of an XLT. I agree, lose the headache rack, get it cut and buffed and it's a time capsule.

I always remove the air intake filter. In your case, removing air box gives access to the slave cylinder and requires 9nlyan extension rod for tge socket tools. Great job though!

Appreciate it I’m learning watching you 12:15 am on a Monday have school in a few hours but, I watched to other video when you picked it up and I’ve learned when a shifter in a manual not shifting properly like it’s supposed to, the slave cylinder needs to be changed, put fluid in the new one then bleed it 5 times when installed until no bubbles and install it and sweet shifting should be happening like when you got back in the car.... wow that’s a crazy deal for the amp you got it 😳✅
That Colt would make a hilarious sleeper with an SRT4 powertrain and good suspension.
You could probably put in a DSM powertrain though.

Randy, take the Hyundai to MACO and let them give you a bare bones estimate! Fixit if cheap enough. Repaired will then bring you top dollar!!!
I keep telling you you need have a screen enclosure over your pool, best thing I ever did for my pool.
Since it is a Mitsubishi, cross reference which ones used the same trans, a dip stick for a more recent Mits (Lancer maybe?) might be easier to find. #2, pick up one at an auto parts store, drain and refill trans with proper amount of fluid. Mark the stick with cold mark. Drive it for 30 min, check fluid, and mark for hot. For now, add 1/2 quart of fluid in case it is low? In fact, I have an 01 Mirage, if it is the same trans, I can get a dip stick make it the same length, and put marks on it for cold and hot, and send it to you. Mine is the 1.8 engine.

I wouldn't worry about the people giving you side eye for driving that Plymouth Colt Vista. There are dudes who drive old beaters like that and have stacks of money in the bank. Smart people put all their miles on A to B beaters like that and leave their new cars in the garage. That way the A to B beaters get dents and dings and scratches and the wear on the engine while your new car stays in pristine condition.
for me my son love to get involved on fixing the cars. my step son likes to wash it more. like it that he like to help fixing them. he a good kid.

I love the dashboard display of Hyundai. I should say very bright which is very very important for driving at night.

OK - so the forklift puts marks, chips paint, splits open a flex bumper, and even dents underneath.
The forklifts need some HD rubber protectors molded to the horizontal forks, and HD rubber overladen with a thick rug-type cover where the car's bumper touches the vertical part of the forklift.
This should take care of most of the "damage by moving" that happens before the new owner takes it.

You guys should get one of those automatic roller tops that automatically go over the pool whenever you want it. We had one and it was fantastic. Whenever bad weather was coming I would just close it and then there was no pool cleaning after the storms.

Those old doors spring a little on the top corners. Especially the drivers door due to years of being opened and closed from that top corner. Grab it at the top corner and where it meets the body of the door and push in until it stops leaking.

Now if you drove that Colt here in New Zealand, you'd have people coming over to you asking where you managed to find a Mitsubishi Chariot after all these years. Since we had so many, they would all have a story about raising their families/ carrying firewood/ running a lawnmowing business with one. We imported large amounts of JDM Chariots through the different models. They were the die-hard people mover/ work wagon in NZ. I still think you'll find a dipstick here somewhere :-) We also have Tiburons but the Veloster took over since it's quicker
A little quirky "core memory" is the sound of the blue ford truck door opening. It has a very particular sound of your thumb pushing in the button, the latch releasing, and pulling the door open in a fraction a second. Anyone else hear that? That body style ran for so long, everybody had one, or knew someone who did.

Randy if there is no crease in the rear quarter I would try getting a small plunger and use a blow dryer to heat the panel up a little then stick the plunger on there and give it a few pulls that little dent should pop right out

Randy, there are a lot of Eclipses in the junkyards and a lot of them were automatics so the dipstick should work for the Vista.

Change the gear oil and gear filter in the mitsubishi station wagon and she will be Allright. ITS just that the ATF DOTIII and the gear filter have never been replaced or take out the filter clean it with patrol and reinstall it with new ATF DOTIII. These are bomb proof transmissions

I believe you should keep the car because I have the same car but I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon with 200,000+ and mine was in worse condition but I fixed mine and I LOVE this car so much even tho it’s old. Please keep the car it’s a masterpiece!!! 👍
