The last one is a letter scale. The top tray is missing. Postage was charged by weight.

Yes, but probably the scale is in metric gram. I have one that is not identical but very similar. Mine goes up to 500 gram.

I don't think the last item is calibrated in grains, more likely that it is in grams. 100 grains is under 1/4 ounce where as 100 grams is just over 3.5 ounces. It certainly seems to be a scale of some sort, the range makes me think letter scale.

I wonder if the Trapper Nelson backpack frame design was inspired by the cradle boards used by First Peoples of the Americas. BTW, "Träger" means "carrier" in German.
I knew the baby rattle, because I have a sterling silver baby cup that has similar engravings of kittens that might be a companion piece from the same era. It's adorable!
The letter/mail sorter I knew, because I have one of those! I repurposed it to hold CDs.
This channel is the BEST one for showing old items that are truly puzzling to modern folk. I've seen some channels that just show very common objects that 80% of anyone over 50 would know. You really find some head-scratchers!
I'm guessing that the scale at the end is not complete, and was used for weighing something like precious metals or pharmaceutical ingredients since it's measured by grains (or grams?)

5:50 I've seen a more whimsical cigarette dispenser my uncle had. It was in the shape of a donkey. You open up its back and inserted cigarettes. When you twisted the donkey's ear, its tail would rise and out came a cigarette.

The old letter scale was replaced in 60's by a tin one with a flat platform and dial. It had springs inside and was not real accurate. I've seen both in shops wear I worked that offered mass mailing services. Both places got digital replacements and kept the old ones for keepsakes and display.

I see comments for the last item being this or that...
US letters were classified by ounces, so if it is for mail it would not be for the US postal system. The letter scale my dad had was the same type of 1/4 circle beam scale, but the place for the letter was very different.
    Litho/printing... not seeing it.
EGG scale, now that seems to be a good idea, or pharmaceutical scale.

The old vet didn't look at house pets but the new upstart vet understood that household pets were as important at livestock to the owners.

The woman actually published a book in which she tried to brag about murdering an untrained puppy, in an attempt to get across as "though" and "doing what is needed" (not that republican voters tend to read that type of autobiographical works by candidates )
