    Another point---the narrator speaking about the Brunel designed bridge says it is between Cornwall and England, Cornwall IS IN England. It is the most south-westerly of the English provinces.

      Yes, really pathetic. On this programme someone in the know needs to explain the correct pronunciation of names to the narrator, who seems blissfully unaware of the nuances, making the whole business look amateurish, as if they can’t be bothered, which is a shame because the Antiques Road Show is famous for its antiquarian specialists who display such impressive knowledge of the items presented.

      Actually the announcer messed up the first name and mispronounced the surname.
      It’s Benvenuto (not Benevento) Cellini, pronounced Ben-Ve- noo-tow Chel-lee-nee.

    While I enjoy Mike Rowe's narration and Antique Roadshow in general, somebody has definitely dropped the ball in the closed caption field i.e. showing an item worth $15,000 as $50,000.

    Well, here we go again - you sound like an educated American but your narration is filled with errors. Pronouncing Che - llini as Sell - ini? And saying that a teapot has a broken sprout, with an r? Half of the time you get the gender of the guest wrong, you cannot tell the difference between the sexes?

    Item 12: The Elizabethan jewel made during the Victorian revival has examples of GRISAILLE enamel painted in monochromatic colors is NOT pronounced GRIZZLE...😝🤣😂 Does anybody research this stuff ? No.

    So many goofy word warps., is it done on purpose? One every 2 minutes. E.g. @11:10 it's speaks of doges, (rulers of ancient Venice), but its really a drawing about DOGS.!
    Is it that hard to have a retired schoolteacher check this over before it goes online? Until then, I'm unsubscribed.
