thank you for this. instead of being afraid they're cheating though, i'm afraid that their feelings will vanish eventually since we're not together in person..
Same bro and i kind of see it happening to me already. She doesnt send me messages no more. Makes me sad because I know she probably met someone in her country thats better then me. Its ok though not salty just sad.

I'm in a ldr right now and I honestly did 8 of these I've never blame him for anything, I give him my love and care, we talk a lot and I've always talked to my friends about him and how amazing of a person he is and I've told him so many times that I'm so in love with him and he said the same too and we plan to meet each other someday💞💞💞
I’m in a long distance relationship while attending Med school. One of the most important elements of a successful relationship is that you need to be physically and emotionally well yourself rather than relying on your partner for love and attention to heal. You need two whole pieces to make a full piece of love.
I am so thankful for your comment. You're entirely right. I would also say that being emotionally and physically well is crucial not only in love, but generally during lifespan. At the end, we spend most of our lives with ourselves.
I’m in a distance relationship rn and it’s very hard to handle. But we’re both willing to put efforts into it and make it work. Trust and patience is the key💗
Ik this too well...Me and my LDR gf wanted to meet already like 5 times. Everytime she said things like ,,Something popped out" or ,,I forgot that...". I didn't go camping with a group of friends so we can meet and I was already on my way to where we planned to meet and suddenly she just texted me that she got grounded for supporting the pride parade. A week later she said that she couldn't come since she was at a hospital...so she lied to me. I have constant anxiety cause I think that maybe I'm not good enough for her
@@Karim-rf5go Depression sucks, I know. But think of it this way: Somewhere in this world, there's someone especially for you. Maybe even in the comments of this video. I hope you get through it soon, and if not, you can talk to me. I'm here :)
Jaz x I feel you. I’ve been together with my partner for 13 months almost 14 now. We’ve only seen each other for two days each time. Cuddles are the best though. You learn to appreciate them. 💓😭
One tip: treat it like a real relationship at all times. Because it is. She's not just the person you have Skype dates with and then get back to your real life. She's a part of your real life. Talking to her, doing things with her (virtual), treat them as if she's there with you. Because emotionally she is, and you should be too. You're friends, family, colleagues, strangers should all know about her like she can walk into the room at anytime. My long distance relationship is tough, but I'm happy. And so is she. We'll be together again someday. Best of luck to all of you others going the distance!
1. Give them a personal gift to hold on to. 2. Set routines and learn about each others schedules 3. Build trust and try not to jump to conclusions, dont assume the worst 4. It's not about quantity but quality 5. Make time to visit. But know that not all visits will be ideal and that is ok 6. Embrace the challenges together
Me and my gf are in a LDR since a year and 3 months now...but 1. She didn't even give me an adress to where I can send her a gift 2. That's easy since we live in the same country, but different parts 3.I try not to, but she lied to me a lot of times 4.I try to talk with her but she always wants to rp. 5. We wanted to meet 5 times already but she always had an excuse not to come. And then on the next week she had another excuse totally different from the original one 6.I try everything to overcome those...but she always needs to go when I try to talk with her about them Do you guys think that this won't work out?...
Daijiro Bengoshi {quiet, assassin} Well, from what you’re saying, I think that the relationship sounds a little unhealthy. I really do suggest that you should try to talk about it and how you can make it better.
My boyfriend and I of almost 3 years have only been long distance for two weeks and he's coming back this weekend because the transition into college has been especially difficult for him and he's been having some doubts about the relationship because he's so stressed out. He sent me this video and said "I needed this bad. I need to call you tomorrow." here's to hoping he needed number 6 the most, and for a good conversation on the phone.
6 Tips on Maintaining LDRs: 1. Give them a personal gift to hold onto. 2. Set routines & learn about each other's schedules. 3. Build trust & try not to jump to conclusions. 4. It's not about the quantity (how often you talk), it's about quality (quality communication). 5. Make time to see each other, but know that every visit may not be ideal, & that's okay. 6. Embrace the challenges together.
@@Meijibby hello! 🙂 No need to be shy because it's your partner. You have to learn how to be comfortable or to not be shy with each other. Otherwise, what's the point of being together, right?
One important thing is not to allow the opposite sex comes close to you. There is nothing like “just a friend” simply keep yourself busy and try as much a possible to keep away the opposite sex
I’m in a distant relationship as well, it’s not easy I won’t lie, especially with insecurities. But the one thing I can say to make it better for someone reading this, is look at the small details about your partner. Know them very well so that if something happens you don’t always assume the worst.
One thing my boyfriend and I do is plan video chat dates and share the same meal but cooked our own unique ways. Then we surprise each other with how creative we got. It's exciting to see the effort we each put into our dishes, which translates into the effort we put into our relationship. It's fantastic! ❤️
@@monicakushwaha475 You can plan together to make the same dish, such as spaghetti or steak or whatever you both know you enjoy. It doesn't have to be prepared the exact same way--you could each add your own personal flare to it, and surprise each other with your creativity and ingenuity. You could even make completely different meals, and impress each other with your particular expertise. It is one way you can learn about the abilities and preferences of the other person, and have fun doing it. 😊
Yea it’s hard for sure, but it’s literally the best thing ever. Not having your partner there physically sucks but the second you hear from them makes a world of difference. Also the building anticipation to see them is indescribable and possibly the greatest feeling of love ever. I love it 🥰
Am in a long distance relationship too and sometime I feel longing to always talk to him and some times I this feeling of suspicion him not picking or returning the call after some days and I need to still be the one to remind him please in this situation what will I do ?
Key thing is communication. My partner and I have 1 scheduled phonecall a week where we only talk about our feelings and/or concerns that we may be having, decisions that may affect the other, etc etc. Then we have spontaneous phone calls during the week where we just talk about anything from our day at work to the dog next door. We do this because we found that when we didnt, we would be hiding the "heavy feelings" from each other cause we didn't want to ruin our phonecalls by making them sad and have the other person worry. Of course thats sprinkled w morning/hope your having a good day/miss you/thinking bout you etc texts in between
This is such genius advice, I love that! I really want to try this out with my guy, as the communication aspect and going deep is so important. Yet the lighter type of conversations are important too.
Kim Santos pls tell me the answer for the Q i have my whole life long! So how often u guys talk to each other. Or do you guys have like a specific time that u guys talk? And u talk every day?
So guys my boo is 3yrs older than me and yes we're in LDR, I really love her so much and surely I wanna marry her one day♥️ i just need blessings from everyone. 😇♥️
Being in a LDR is tough, but doable. I'm now 2 years in one. Just the thought of how far we have come is motivation enough to look forward to many more memories. Our love for each other is bigger than the distance that separates us. To those in LDR', it usually gets tough before it gets easy. So hold on tight keep on growing together. Best of luck!!
I'm dating a girl for 1.5 years and I'm going away for a while to work... My flight is in 4 hours and I can't sleep. I feel absolutely horrible. I'll miss you babe This feeling is certainly crushing
Although you may be upset about your girlfriend, just know that you'll see her soon. In no time, you'll be able to hold her in your arms and the time spent apart will be worth it. Stay strong! 👍
@@mandyzp After 6 months I returned home to continue some unfinished studies. During our time apart we kept in constant contact and worked around the 4 hour time difference between us. We talked and watched lots of movies together in our free time. It actually helped us grow closer as a couple but personally I don't know if I could keep that up for years on end. I truly respect those who do long distance for several years.
It's not easy at first,I have been away for 1 and half years now from my boyfriend but the love is growing stronger everyday, 6 months remaining to go back home.
When my boyfriend last visited, he gave me a necklace. I wear it every day and even sleep in it, and when I stress, I fiddle with it and it calms me down because I feel physically closer to him. I have him my most valuable stuffed animal, a purple stuffed leopard that has a pouch of lavender for stress relief. It was a gift from my grandparents when I went through a major surgery last summer. It comforted me, and now it comforts him! I even sprayed it with my perfume for an extra touch which he loved. I miss him so so much, but I find comfort in knowing that I’ll see him again soon. Actually, I see him at the end of December, and I’m super excited!
I'm in a long distance relationship and he lives all the way in new Jersey I'm a Brit so there is a 5 hr difference which kills us both. He got me a really beautiful necklace but it snapped and that broke me. Ever since it snapped I have been feeling so sad and anxious and alone. I still feel it there but when I go to play with it it's not.
That's how my relationship started just before the pandemic. We were fortunate enough to meet twice before lockdown but 2 of our planned trips got cancelled and now its just become too expensive to travel, but we're hopeful.
I think the best advice really is to have your own life and to find a partner who's passionate about theirs as well. Me and my partner are busy with our lives that whenever we get to talk we spend so much time because we know we love each other and are not obsessed with spending all day with each other because we prioritize ourselves too. If you treat your partner as a desert for your efforts and not your main course or appetizer, life changes so much. You can be straight forward with them and also not strangle them with expectations because that also ruins relationships. Once you expect someone to act a certain way to your favour and not based on facts it'll just destroy them because you didn't try to understand so you're just in a relationship with you the image in your head.
I needed to see this. I didn’t expect to find someone so amazing and being so far away. That was my past relationship’s mistakes and caught myself being more understanding and open minded.
Y’all. The military is brutal on relationships. To all my military couples, you got this!! Remember why you fell for each other and remember your goals!
My boyfriend who’s a marine is getting out in four weeks and I’m so full of hope that it’s gonna be easier for us from now on even tho he’s gonna be even further away than now
Honestly, going long distance made our relationship way stronger and healthier than it was before. Now we’re getting married in a little over a month ❤️
So ive been dating an exchange student for about 7 months and she has to go back to Mexico (i live in the USA) in 2 days i feel crushed because the covid virus made the return unexpected I really love this girl and you give me hope that mabey we could end up together forever.
I am in a LDR and gotta say that this is very important. Especially about the balance between quantity and quality of talks. This is sometimes hard to accept, when you want to be in thouch with that person all the time and have nothing to talk about, but it's worth the effort.
I feel you sometimes I felt like we were saying the same things everyday “how was your day?” Blabla and I was afraid that he was bored about it too, long distance relationships are hard but if you truly love them I guess it’s worth it.
This video triggered lots of tears. It's hard being apart. It reminded me of how much effort he puts in and the different ways in which he shows me he cares ❤
I was and now married to my long distance relationship 😃 It can be daunting especially if your not from the same country. The most important thing is you need to decide what are the most important values for you and your partner, ie job over health care.
Noelle Watts 👍could give advice, i am now in a LDR relationships we are acquainted for more than a year, including our six months as a couple, it's very hard for me sometimes that she we are miles apart and couldn't even see her even video calling but our texting is constant every day, I've drawn everything encluding my soul because I love her, how will I know if she is true to me, we both a child and we accepted it, she is a military assign at war but on our conversation she promised me to leave her work soon she finish her contract with the Untied Nation.. What do I do,
He is in Tanzania and I’m in Canada. His values when we talk is family and his health but his actions speak differently. He is constantly working. No time for church or family and me . He says he loves me very much . I’m becoming lonely after 11 months and 3 tries of getting him a visa . He needs to prove to the government he has money for the travel, that he has a reason to go back to his home country ( his job or child or ill parents) He should have a clean criminal record, My guy was refused visa because he had never been outside his country his bank statements were not showing enough savings despite that I wrote that I will pay for his flight and accommodation.
My love and I are 3 years now and we are in a long distance relationship. We both found each other during the first hit of the pandemic and we are "PANDEMIC LOVERS" 🤭. In this long-distance relationship, we will experience lots of difficulties, arguments, fighting, and so on. But just like us (my love and I) choose each other and love each other. We don't know when and where or how we will able to see each other but we leave everything to God. We trust each other, I love him so much, and he made me happy each day. If you are in a long-distance relationship, Trust and believe in your partner. No matter what or no matter how it takes. Love your partner with all your heart and I know that waiting is worth it. ❤️
I've been in a long-distance relationship for 10 years. And all I have to say is Please Communicate your feelings. it's hard, but make it fun by playing couple quiz games like lovify. It kept our conversations interesting, especially on boring days. Never stop trying. Things will take time, but they'll work out in the end :)
@@rawmeseesoundsavvvy170 In initial days we too had lot's of issues. Wayyyyy lots, but with time and multiple breaks. Now our conflicts don't last more than 15 mins. It was hard but we have been through lots of tough conversations which we used to avoid initially.
my girlfriend is in Minnesota and i’m in California but we broke ass college students somehow manage to see each other every few months. seeing everyone else’s replies on here really makes me feel like i have it easy. LDR is truly a beautiful thing bc it makes you appreciate every moment you have together.
I’m in Mississippi and my girlfriend is in Texas, we both work but somehow have managed to see each other every 3 months so far and have made it a promise to keep doing that. The promise of seeing each other every 3 months helps a lot
Ah, if only it was that nice. I moved to New York just recently and she lives in chile, so like, a 10 hour plane flight. I plan on going back for at most a month in the summer to visit, but idk how I'm going to do it. I really dont believe it will work out
I was about to study, but this video caught my attention. My princess, she lives 12,795 km away from me. We have been dating since 4/16/2020 I didn't expect my first relationship would be a long-distance I give her to her every day of every second, I'm planning to meet her within 3 years I hope she can wait for me. My birthday is coming up so I made a video for her to show her how much I love her can't wait to see her reactions. I will try to hold on to my partner no matter what happens 💪💗💖
I've been in a really long distance relationship for over 4 years now and we are finally moving together in less than 2 months! My tip would be keep making plans together for when you'll be seeing each other, taking into consideration which date works the best for both of you. Life happens, specially when you have a job or you study, it's OK if you can't see each other in 4 months, just set a date to hold on to. And one more thing, think about when the distance will be over, decide where will you live, think when you roughly want it to happen. Going with the flow doesn't really work in this kind of relationships!
It must feel amazing to finally move in with her! I've been in a long distance relationship for over 2 and a half year and we were together before she left but finally seeing her again in my only dream! Hope everything is going amazing
I'm currently in a long distance relationship and we just celebrated our 8th monthsary (virtual sadly) and everyday our relationship just keeps getting stronger. There are times that we argue but that's normal actually. The 3 top things we have to do in order to keep our relationship is by having the U.R.L. U- understanding If one doesn't have understanding then the relationship will go crazy and fall. R- respect Of course we have this, respect is really important (everybody probably knows why) L- love This is the reason why two people stayed together despite of any boundaries you are facing such as distance.
But ldr till how long? I'm in an ldr and idk if he's planning to ever shift cities or anything :( so I'm not sure if all this effort is going to lead to anything :(
I'm in georgia, my baby lives in alabama, and she is gonna be gone all summer, and can't FaceTime or call at night anymore. I know I'm gonna miss my best friend, but we've got our own activities, like playing chess online, and friendo! Its 78 days till she's home, but she does a show in Atlanta, in 61 days, so I'll see her soon!
my boyfriend and i talk daily and it feels good because it feels like we’re there together and talking about our day makes us feel closer! Almost like there’s no distance at all :)
I have been in the relationship for 4 years and we haven't still met 😅...but he is coming after 1 month and I am so excited to see him for the first time 😍
keshika thapa same 🥺 we are in a long distance relationship and we haven't met since 2 years but now we are fighting a lot and i don't know what to fo ? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Me and my current girlfriend honestly can't stop talking to each other lol. Like we thought the same about getting burnt out but even when we have nothing to say on a call it's just nice having someone there. Plus we watch tons of videos and work on stuff together sharing hobbies etc.
Call me Toast Yeah exactly me and my BF is the same... Some days we won't have the most interesting conversations, but I also just like having him there, it kinda feels like when I'm at home and we're sitting in the living room doing each our thing... And watching series together is so fun, we're anime fans so a lot of stuff to see😁😁
I gotta say, I appreciate this comment thread. It's the same with my boyfriend. We're artists and sometimes we even work on our art deadlines on call, silently encouraging each other, going through the work together. That's only one example. I think it's soooo important to be able to feel comfortable in each other's silent company. It kinda gives a sense that you're naturally in sync. It's comforting.
That's really cool that that works for you guys! me and my boyfriend tried calling whilst working and doing other stuff but it just ended up with neither activity being done as well as if we had separated time to work and THEN time to talk
I am in a long distance relationship for nearly 3 years now. We live in different countries and can't visit each other so easily. Last time I could visit him was 2 years ago. But I trust him and we are looking forward to be together some day in the future :)

I’ve been in a LDR for about a year and some months. My first time meeting him my heart nearly skipped a beat because I knew and felt like I had met my best friend/true love. I honestly don’t have a problem with it me and my partner actually have came to an conclusion it is and will help us grow. We definitely try to see one another when we can which is helpful but when we separate we miss one another like crazy. I’ve had negative people in my ear about things but I know him and he knows me. What I’m basically saying is love on your person and continue to stand strong ❤️
I'm currently in a long distance relationship, and my bf plan on visiting in July after 11 months. The journey so far has been tough, exciting, and, well a bit challenging. Nothing good comes easy, and so its worth waiting for. And to those who are in a LDR please don't give up, hold on to your feelings and you won't regret it for as long as you are both trying. Xxx
I am currently in a long distance relationship and it is been over 8 months. I am studying at university in U.K. and my boyfriend is still in Lithuania studying. It is very hard to stay strong and go through my day knowing that he is very far away. I am trying to think positive and tell myself that it is going to be only a few years but is hard. We see each other rarely but for two weeks or more and still, it is not enough because up till now I saw him only two times. We love each other very much and we talk every day, we play games and watch movies or shows together at the same time while talking on Skype. We exchange pictures from time to time and most of them are silly ones :D To everyone that is going through long distance relationship, I can say that communication and honesty is a key as well as trusting one another and doing things together. Sometimes it may feel that the distance is not even there.
Thank you. I'm basically in the same scenario for about 5 months now and will be for at least 2 years. I try to keep positive and stay focused knowing that the struggle is only temporary and it will be worth it when we get back to each other. I wish you all the best of luck!
Thank you for your reply. I know that I am lucky to see him but next year will be way harder and I will try to survive but we might not see each other for a whole year. We both are going to have a hard year and some of my decisions will be very important and I still do not know what I am going to do. Also, I am afraid that I might lose him over my emotions and constant sadness. I am trying to not show him but he always notices if I am sad. But the thing is that I am only like this when we are apart when we are together I am always happy and smiling. So I just hope I am not going to lose him over my emotions and stupidity..
I'm from Lithuania too, but currently living in Germany. My girlfriend is from Singapore and we see each other every 2 months. We talk every single day for a few hours. There was no day when we didn't call each other. This kind of relationship is not easy, but it shows what true love is. I'm moving to Hong Kong in September and then we can see each other every month. I'm planning to marry my girl next year and then we can finally live togehter.
I am currently having a relationship with a girl from Germany and I live in Belgium. She is so lovely and worth every effort to see her. For us it's the little things that matter while still respecting eachother. We don't stalk eachother but we have meaningful, fun and lovely conversations. We even meet up in the middle and we even try to teach eachother our culture and language which is always fun. Sometimes it gets hard but we realize the thing that makes it hard is not being with eachother. We love eachother and we keep fighting for this to work and things are going steady as it is now. This video truly made me smile and I sent it to my girlfriend 😁
I ruined the best relationship I ever had (LDR) because we communicated too much. The tip on texting longer, more quality filled messages rather than short ones every minute is spot on.
Being in an LDR on this pandemic is so frustrating. Me and my boyfriend hadn't meet each other since we started because of the borders not opening for them to get inside our country. It's been a year now and we both had struggles and difficulties that it almost end our relationship but love binds us both and we keep holding on and praying and being hopeful for that one sweet day to finally see each other for the very first time.
Am facing thing too,he is in the U.S.A and am in Ghana. My mum thinks is already a year and have not set my eyes on him before so we should break up but we are strong for each other and focus with prayers things will work out for us
@@tabithathewholistic I know how that feels, for me it's the other way around..i am in Germany and he is in the USA..I wish you the best and that it works out for you two..i can't wait to meet my bf for the very first time..but til i can hold him in my arms, i will hold him in my heart..and hope he likes me in rl too..
currently in the same situation :(( we've been together for 8 months now and i am still hoping and wishing for the day that we will eventually meet irl will come as soon as possible.. it's so stressful to think about the future and it just made both of us insecure, asking questions like how much time do we have to face before meeting in person 😭 but we are working through it and we are hopeful to see each other once the pandemic dies down a bit and when there are very little travel restrictions.. i just don't want to be so old when i finally get to see him..
I hear all of you guys for sure! Apparently as of today we are trending towards "endemic status" and many mandates are being dropped globally, so let's cross our fingers and hope it's legit!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Never thought I would meet someone so far away- and won’t lie it could be as long as 3 years till we meet but- it’s been a bit over 6 months and man I love her so much. It’s so hard being so far from people who mean so much to you :(
Yeah it's true, I can say LDR makes relationships even more stronger.. We can experience each other everytime during chatting, in dreams everywhere and hope of meeting makes it more special
I'm in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for a year and we're doing great! it makes our relationship stronger, the hard part is that you have to explain to your family and friends about the relationship ^^;
If you love each other, distance is not the reason for you to break up. Me and my boyfriend, are in a long distance, I mean not that really far, but during this pandemic, we can't see each other.. So we just chat everyday, and I can tell ya I really miss him like hell. Chats or calls are not enough for us. But even how much we missed each other, we can't do anything about it. And I told him that if how long this will lasts, there's nothing gonna change how I truly love him, even we're apart, I will stay consistent no matter what. Long distance in a relationship is a challenge. This will truly show how powerful your love is. Even the both of you are from the different world apart, if you love that person, he/she will stay in your heart forever.
In a long distance relationship for almost 9 months and he will finally be here next week for good. I don't really believe LDR's could work but we did it. Through effort, patience, staying connected and being open to each other. Some things are really worth the wait To all the LDR couples out there, stay strong!
@@inyaaa_i love to hear it!!! You gave me, & my girl hope!! She’s only 4 hours away driving so, I picked her up the day after my comment, & she just flew back home today… I can’t really complain tho bc, you guys were literally in different countries!!

I love seeing these couples who claim to be in a LDR because of the quarantine- I'm already in a long distance relationship (nothing happened at all to my relationship lol) so it's really funny to see all these people and just go "this your first time?"
I've been in a ldr for 2 years, we've met the first time when I was in korea for a vacation and we finally moved in together earlier this month, as i got a university near his place! :') we are engaged.
My first healthy relationship has been the long distance one I am in now! It has been hard but so worth it! We are almost one and half years and growing strong!!
I know the feeling...!! but knowing Gods plan for you in relationship is the only thing to hold unto ...am currently on it....before and after marriage!! And will love to share my expirence soon!!!
Started long distance relationship. Showing genuine interest how their day was, what they eat, showing that he/she is your priority. You are not physically with them, but in thoughts they are number 1.
for anyone whos drifting apart from their ldr partner (like i am, known her for almost a year, only person who cares about me) from somebody with experience in long distance friendships, relationships etc, heres some advice from me 1) make them think about the positive things about you. say 'hey I really like my outfit and nobody is hyping me up. I kinda need it, can you maybe? :')' or 'omg I feel really confident today, look one min lemme send a pic'. if they don't hype you up or say that you look pretty, its gonna be difficult im sorry. 2) message them daily about your day, start to finish. they might ask questions and, when they respond, ask how theirs was. if they say 'it was okay' ask them for details, get them TALKING. that's important. 3) don't just like messages then wait for them to continue. DONT. WAIT. FOR. THEM. if they leave you on read or just like your message, start another conversation. 4) ask to call them. I personally have phone anxiety so, for the many years ive had online friendships/relationships, I don't call. but I think calling can be important. 5) tell them when ur crying. pity isn't usually the way but it can make them care for you. don't make up things and make your life seem worse than it is. that's plain lying. imma paste this on all videos like this. hope it helps
@emi jay first god bless u for trying to motivate some people but i think something else 1.If he/she leaves you on read dont try to start a new conversation probably he/she doesnt love you man 2.If he/she just text you with short txts like My day was good and doesnt ask you back, dont try to ask him or her for details I have been in ldr for 4 years and one day she decided to leave best advice if u guys face such problems RESPECT YOUR SELF you deserve better Have a nice day you all✌️
@@deaela783 yeah, I've been holding on for months and months. Thinking I could fix it and bring back to how it was before. But no, I just make it worse. Let go, before you lose yourself. Before the only love left between you will turn to hatred. Relationship can't go on one sidedly. If someone don't want you anymore, they don't at all. They will someday regret losing you. I am in a distance relationship and I can say that is the best thing in my life. Distance showed me how my boyfriend really cared and how strong his feelings are (the same for me). We do have schedules and small talks when we have time given that we study most of the day. Our relationship is stronger than ever and I have never had such a stabke bond with someone. We managed to be friends and lovers even at a certain distance. If you really love your partner you do everything. You can live your life and enjoy what is in front of you. It's not virtual because you know you'll only have to wait until the time has come to hug your love again. It's a combination of patience, attention and a lot of empathy. The feelings are real and even though it is hard, because you miss him/her just think about all the tranquility, peace, fun, empathy, care, love and strenght that person gives you. It works for me. (I live in London and my boyfriend in Rome)
I think about it like this: I first make sure that I am happy and cheerful in my own life, doing things with friends and family to keep myself in a good mood. Cuz then when I text him, I can maybe spread that happiness to him and cheer him up too💖
As long as that person is welding to wait for you No matter how long it takes To see you And trust each other And keep your relationship strong Even for a far distance relationship There's nothing that can break As long as you guys Just have faith And are willing to Have that communication with each other
I try to avoid those thoughts that the majority of RUclipsrs and comments convey. They say that in any way LDR is impossible doesn't matter if you are in them for 2 month or 10 years. Maybe some of that is true but it always depends on people and their personalities. I am quite sad being for 3 years in LDR and I don't want to give up on it just "to try sth else- what if it good" like my friends advice. My close friends say that it is a desperate thing but there is still something miraculous in LDR- awaited meetings, trips planning, mental bond that is just between you two when you are 3000 km away but chatting feels you as if he is just next to you. I just hope that waiting worth it.... I wish you all good luck and happy ending in such a complicated but worthwhile issue.
Hold on to that miraculous feeling. Some couples that live in the same city as their mate don’t have that. It may be different. It may be hard to get used to at times but it’s worth it.
Been in a LDR for 3 years now. This video was so lovely and reassuring, and I needed to hear that point about quality over quanitity. I've got so used to speaking every day and so frequently, but sometimes his job or my university schedule won't allow that, as a result I start to feel upset. I'm definitely going to work on myself more.
I have been in a long distance relationship with a man I think of as my soulmate for almost three years. Honestly, this is one of the best relationships I've ever had. We are incredibly close even though we have never met and we have not had a single hiccup that we could not overcome. I recommend you communicate because not all perfect mates are within waking distance. We are 1,000+ miles apart, but we have made it work this long and that means others can too. We plan on meeting soon and after that maybe getting married if we are both certain. It's possible. Don't give up in this sort of relationship because, if the distance is far enough, know that they are worth that tenfold and so are you. Good luck to everyone who is dating long distance and please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help.

I'm 19 and I'm really inlove with someone far away from me. We haven't seen each other in real life. We were friends for almost a year through this game (codm). We've been through a lot when we were just friends. We are comfortable with each other. I don't know when did I realize that I love him. He makes me feel assured. He is the first man that I love and I will love. The part that I really love about him is he talks about the future and includes me with it. Like "someday, when we get married, we'll build this house.... I will work hard for our family..." He is also looking forward to seeing me. I'm from Philippines, he's in Luzon and I'm from Mindanao. I am here watching this video to learn and to be a good lover. I know my love is an enough reason for me to love him fully. But I am not forgetting the fact that our relationship will never be perfect, but I will just trust him, trust myself and trust God.
me and my partner have been in a ldr for a year (one more month till it’s over!) and we have two scheduled face time “dates” each week and we always look forward to them so much. one thing we noticed is that we have had some really deep conversations and learned so much about each other’s thoughts and opinions on different things - and we really believe it would’ve taken double or even triple the time to have had some of the conversations we’ve had if we weren’t ldr. when we weren’t ldr, we’d take shared time together more for granted, or we’d do stuff together or just make out lol. but being ldr, during these designated times together, we’d put our things down and just talk and listen each other. it’s helped us really learn more about each other and also given us space to grow individually. we’ve talked about emotional, political, spiritual, super personal topics, our aspirations, our goals, our fears, etc. with each other and i really dont think we would’ve reached this level of non-physical closeness w/o being in a ldr. there is emotional/spiritual/intellectual intimacy that you can reach with a partner beyond just physical intimacy and i feel like people don’t really talk about that! i know physical intimacy has given me a false idea of how close i am with someone in the past, so it’s been a blessing to grow so intimately with someone in different ways and also have time to root myself in my community and friends (your community does not = your partner!!) in so many ways, ldr has taught me patience, healthy boundaries, and a better understanding of love, and i am super thankful. this was SO long SORRY but i just wanted to say this bc i know ldrs aren’t easy, but they can be beautiful !
I fell in love with a girl online, and we both confessed to each other last night. She is on the other side of the country, but I feel so close to her through the things we enjoy together, like writing and drawing. I will say we fell in love at an inconvenient time 😅 with the quarantine and the fact that we are both starting college soon. Life is changing so fast but we still found each other. I don’t know what will happen, but I know I don’t want to let her go.
@@Satan666Official still together! And I’m finally going to meet her in person on July 13! It’s been a wonderful, crazy, emotional year, and I’m so glad she has been there with me through it all :)
After knowing each other for 2 months we are in a relationship today...so I'm here to take some advice...I hope our relationship last long ..and we can be together forever..😊❤
These are some great tips and I was doing this even before finding this video. Honestly me and my BF got even more bonded and closer together with long distance then what we would've if we dated regularly. Bcs we have an honest relationship and I can always tell him if something is bothering me or if I'd like him to put in more effort and he actually listens. So when we do meet and see each other in person it won't be awkward cus we've talked for so long now and basically know everything about each other. The only thing that's really hard is sometimes I feel lonely and really wanna be in his arms but he's far away but I know we will be together for good one day. It is our destiny.
One tip I can give, is to make your partner feel like you're there by constantly supporting them and be part of their life as if you never leaved. People won't remember what you do, they will remember how you made them feel.
The timing is perfect. I've been with my boyfriend for almost two months now and he's planning to visit during summer vacation... I'm a super anxious person and jump to conclusions quickly but I've talked to him about it and he's so sweet and understanding. I'm incredibly happy and can't wait to see him. The only thing I'm worried about is how I'm going to tell my parents, it's not like they're super strict but I'm scared they might not take us seriously. (plus I'm glad we "only" live 5 hours apart, by car)
I'm in the exact same situation 🤣 two months together, and he will come to me on summer...the only thing is that he lives in spain and i live in serbia, so the distance is relatively big
18 months, I'm in high school and her parents are strict. Her parents don't wanna take the risk, but imma boutta break into her house and sneak her out at this point, she said she's down 😂
@@boxmeme8010 this girl just really broke my heart yesterday she was my first ever girlfriend, I did so fucking much for her and she did a break up prank on me, I did one to her to get her back she ended it....

I met someone that finally feels so right.. everything I’ve been looking for plus some. We met just under a month before I went back to college in the next state over. ~8 hours of distance and we are navigating this strange long distance situation. Thank you for this video. I’ve always been a firm believer that LDR is possible and beautiful! It is different, and requires a great deal of effort. But, it is worth it.
I have been in a relationship twice and both LDR, while the previous one was a lot of effort and taxing and emotionally draining, my current one is so much more incredible in every way. Cut to the chase, it is all about the person you are with, be with someone who makes efforts for you, respects you. I have never been happier as of now. ❤️ Love to every LDR couple
I struggle to upload once a week and you guys are uploading 1 video per day lol. I admire the hustle though, you guys never cease to come up with creative videos. Keep it up :)
I’m in a LDR with my GF. She lives in Georgia and I live in Louisiana. I go down there to visit here at least twice(some months only once) a month for 2-4 days. Our year anniversary is coming up. It’s not that hard being in a LDR for us because we both exactly alike and we both know we want each other for life. We both agree we are each other soulmates. We only six hours away(driving) from one another. It’s not that bad if I just wanted to see her for the day I’ll just drive in the early morning. Get there around 12. Leave around 6 and be back home at 12. I see some people saying that the person they in a LDR with is their soulmate, well If you really believe that then you should be fine. TIPS 1-Always make time. I usually talk to her for most of the day and text for the other 2- Humor. Making someone laugh goes a long way 3- Talk with their family. This one was actually hard for me. Her family approach me first but it makes things easier 4- If you can go see them once a month. 5- When you finally do see them leave something with them and take one of their possessions. Somethings that means a lot to them. I took my GF bracelet and her necklace her late grandma gave her. If y’all have any questions y’all want to ask about me and GF relationship or any advice y’all need just comment. I will reply.
Thank you for this. I’m heading into a LDR with my girl of 4 months. It took us both by extreme surprise and I’m just so hurt atm. Not sure how everything will pan out and I’m scared but I know she is worth it. Any advice? I can’t help but feel so anxious for the future… thanks
oh my gosh- I- just... thank you.. I’ve thought about it to where everything is different and we haven’t been talking recently, but you explaining this made me really understand that there is no proof.. I appreciate these channels and deserve more attention.
I totally agree to those tips. I have a very fresh long distance relationship (germany / USA) for 9 months now. With this relationship i noticed many things i didn't realise about me. You have reflect yourself constantly and its hard to not overthink all the time especially to avoiding toxic behaving patterns. Even when it's hard we make the best out of it. And YES: I never felt so close to someone. FOR ALL OF YOU: good luck and enjoy life and love wherever it falls. "happiness is a choice!"
You know what. I actually confessed my love to my best friend tonight and she said she loves me too. It will be a challenge with her living in a different country but right now I am just so happy.
We've been in a long distance relationship for over 3 years, with over 8400km between us. I can say for sure it's not easy but I am here to tell you that it's worth the pain to get that time with them. Keep fighting. We have to wait over one year to see each other but it's definitely possible

@@Jasiibuu yeah we always try to call once a day and send messages so the other person feels like they're spending their day with you. Sending photos of what you're doing and checking in on each other ☺️
@@laaaaaaaa533 sorry to hear that 😢 it's really tough when someone is busy with work and you feel you're drifting. Try planning in some time to do something together like watch a film at a certain time each day you know you're both free. If you've communicated this anxiety and they don't make the effort to keep in contact, maybe it's time to think you deserve someone who will do this for you. Best of luck x
Time to time i feel insecure about my relationship. I need confidence in myself more than in our relationship, she loves me and she knows i love her back i just need time and we will be finally together. Thanks for the video
Im in a long distance relationship and she’s without a doubt the love of my life. Relationships I’ve had in the past just don’t compare to the feelings of love that we have for one another. She may doubt when i tell her that she’s the most beautiful thing ive ever seen but i swear its true. The emotions i feel just from seeing her face are unlike anything I’ve ever felt about anyone. I find her to be perfect and i would fight for us to be together no matter what the distance is or who’s between us.. i choose her out of the entire world and distance is nothing when you feel this way about someone.
That last sentence I was told in therapy 😢. In a LDR too. Mine is tog not really long but we don’t meet often, it sucks😢😢

2. Set routines and learn about each others schedules
3. Build trust and try not to jump to conclusions, dont assume the worst
4. It's not about quantity but quality
5. Make time to visit. But know that not all visits will be ideal and that is ok
6. Embrace the challenges together

5. We wanted to meet 5 times already but she always had an excuse not to come. And then on the next week she had another excuse totally different from the original one
6.I try everything to overcome those...but she always needs to go when I try to talk with her about them
Do you guys think that this won't work out?...

He sent me this video and said "I needed this bad. I need to call you tomorrow." here's to hoping he needed number 6 the most, and for a good conversation on the phone.
6 Tips on Maintaining LDRs:

Of course thats sprinkled w morning/hope your having a good day/miss you/thinking bout you etc texts in between
Interesting point!
A very good advice and I liked your idea!

How did it work out?
Have you got to met each other already?
I'm dating a girl for 1.5 years and I'm going away for a while to work... My flight is in 4 hours and I can't sleep. I feel absolutely horrible. I'll miss you babe
This feeling is certainly crushing
Although you may be upset about your girlfriend, just know that you'll see her soon. In no time, you'll be able to hold her in your arms and the time spent apart will be worth it. Stay strong! 👍
you are in each others hearts and beings.. and in there.. there is no distance and no time
UPDATE ?
Am happy for you and your boyfriend. Am about to enter into LDR and I think it will be the most beautiful thing that will happen to us
@zumzy u No.
for my last birthday that was a few months into our relationship she gave me an old ring of her, ive worm it everyday since 😍
i hope i see my guy soon 🥺
I'm in a long distance relationship and he lives all the way in new Jersey I'm a Brit so there is a 5 hr difference which kills us both.
He got me a really beautiful necklace but it snapped and that broke me.
Ever since it snapped I have been feeling so sad and anxious and alone.
I still feel it there but when I go to play with it it's not.
You also have to consider relationships that started online with the intention to eventually meet at some point in the future.
@Sarah Isaac I'm sorry but I am SO CONFUSED!! Are you tryna start some marketing scheme or something?

@@Feziboy ignore them. It's just scammers trying to steal your money
Huh
Thanka man for this realization. Badly need this.
I needed to see this. I didn’t expect to find someone so amazing and being so far away. That was my past relationship’s mistakes and caught myself being more understanding and open minded.
thank you bro, really really needed this
Best advice
I needed this. I think I have high expectations and I’m putting a weight on my LDR bf. Thank you

So ive been dating an exchange student for about 7 months and she has to go back to Mexico (i live in the USA) in 2 days i feel crushed because the covid virus made the return unexpected I really love this girl and you give me hope that mabey we could end up together forever.

Thank you for that. I’m so scared for this transition and that made me happy to hear.

I am in a LDR and gotta say that this is very important. Especially about the balance between quantity and quality of talks. This is sometimes hard to accept, when you want to be in thouch with that person all the time and have nothing to talk about, but it's worth the effort.
Agatha what does LDR mean?
NoCopyright Mix
It stands for Long Distance Relationship
I feel you sometimes I felt like we were saying the same things everyday “how was your day?” Blabla and I was afraid that he was bored about it too, long distance relationships are hard but if you truly love them I guess it’s worth it.
Maude Jourdain you're right
I agree u with this, most of the time you wanted to talk so much with things but ended up thinking your partner not interested at all too.
This video triggered lots of tears. It's hard being apart. It reminded me of how much effort he puts in and the different ways in which he shows me he cares ❤
Indeed 💞💋
I know right 😢❤️🩹
I was and now married to my long distance relationship 😃 It can be daunting especially if your not from the same country.
The most important thing is you need to decide what are the most important values for you and your partner, ie job over health care.
Congrats! I have to wait another year for my man to come to Canada :) it would be 3 years of long distance.
Noelle Watts congratulations ^^
He needs to prove to the government he has money for the travel, that he has a reason to go back to his home country ( his job or child or ill parents)
He should have a clean criminal record,
My guy was refused visa because he had never been outside his country his bank statements were not showing enough savings despite that I wrote that I will pay for his flight and accommodation.
I'm not even in a relationship, but I just really enjoy watching psyche2go videos. I don't know why 😅.

10 years 👀⁉️ It's been just almost 2 years for me and I'm struggling to keep the relationship together.
@@rawmeseesoundsavvvy170 In initial days we too had lot's of issues. Wayyyyy lots, but with time and multiple breaks. Now our conflicts don't last more than 15 mins. It was hard but we have been through lots of tough conversations which we used to avoid initially.

U living together? And how did that work out by moving to other countrys
fromtheinsidex man you just gave me hope
It must feel amazing to finally move in with her! I've been in a long distance relationship for over 2 and a half year and we were together before she left but finally seeing her again in my only dream! Hope everything is going amazing

I'm currently in a long distance relationship and we just celebrated our 8th monthsary (virtual sadly) and everyday our relationship just keeps getting stronger. There are times that we argue but that's normal actually. The 3 top things we have to do in order to keep our relationship is by having the U.R.L.
U- understanding
If one doesn't have understanding then the relationship will go crazy and fall.
R- respect
Of course we have this, respect is really important (everybody probably knows why)
L- love
This is the reason why two people stayed together despite of any boundaries you are facing such as distance.

Great addition! Definitely, being able to share normal quiet time is also important to developing a sense of trust and normality.
That's really cool that that works for you guys! me and my boyfriend tried calling whilst working and doing other stuff but it just ended up with neither activity being done as well as if we had separated time to work and THEN time to talk
Same. We even play games over Skype like memory. It seems cheesy but it makes things even more fun 🌸

The journey so far has been tough, exciting, and, well a bit challenging.

are you guys still together,
I am currently in a long distance relationship and it is been over 8 months.
Thank you, and sorry for long reply. I wish you all the best too!

Being in an LDR on this pandemic is so frustrating. Me and my boyfriend hadn't meet each other since we started because of the borders not opening for them to get inside our country.
Even the both of you are from the different world apart, if you love that person, he/she will stay in your heart forever.

for anyone whos drifting apart from their ldr partner (like i am, known her for almost a year, only person who cares about me) from somebody with experience in long distance friendships, relationships etc, heres some advice from me
1) make them think about the positive things about you. say 'hey I really like my outfit and nobody is hyping me up.
5) tell them when ur crying. pity isn't usually the way but it can make them care for you. don't make up things and make your life seem worse than it is. that's plain lying.
imma paste this on all videos like this. hope it helps
thank you so much, this does help a lot!! have a nice day!
@emi jay first god bless u for trying to motivate some people but i think something else
1.If he/she leaves you on read dont try to start a new conversation probably he/she doesnt love you man
2.If he/she just text you with short txts like My day was good and doesnt ask you back, dont try to ask him or her for details
I have been in ldr for 4 years and one day she decided to leave best advice if u guys face such problems
RESPECT YOUR SELF you deserve better

@@deaela783 yeah, I've been holding on for months and months. Thinking I could fix it and bring back to how it was before. But no, I just make it worse. Let go, before you lose yourself. @@stevenm6200 hey stranger, just know you can make it. youve come this far and were so proud of you. life is full of challenges but you can do it. look at it at a different angle, find a new perspective. just know that you can and will, make it. you are going to do amazing things!!
Cuz then when I text him, I can maybe spread that happiness to him and cheer him up too💖
Thank you so much for these words
As long as that person is welding to wait for you
No matter how long it takes
To see you
And trust each other
And keep your relationship strong
Even for a far distance relationship
There's nothing that can break
As long as you guys
Just have faith
And are willing to
Have that communication with each other
I try to avoid those thoughts that the majority of RUclipsrs and comments convey.
Hey if you have the dedication to wait until you can finnaly meet your meant to be
Been in a LDR for 3 years now. This video was so lovely and reassuring, and I needed to hear that point about quality over quanitity. I've got so used to speaking every day and so frequently, but sometimes his job or my university schedule won't allow that, as a result I start to feel upset. I'm definitely going to work on myself more.
Hello!
Hi maria what country are you from?
Can you update us??
I completely forgot I wrote this coment! I've been living in his country since last year and we are engaged 😊
@@Mariamomo_ I'm so happy hearing that 😄, do you have any advice for someone who's been in ldr for 3 months?
In a long distant relationship and it’s six months today... it’s about the love and company... it’s difficult but fun☺️☺️🖤
Someone whose in a long distant relationship advice:
Don’t spam them unless they’re fine with it because it can make them annoyed
Follow my boyfriend on Instagram, he'll be talking about our LDR, I'm Brazilian and he's American... he'll also talk about our goals, Q&A, show routine, give aways and many more things.⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️✔️✔️

I only text if he texts me: )
this is true! both my bf and i spam each other sometimes, but not all the time obviously - different things for different people : ]
we spam each other and we're fine with it
@@x_sushirolls_x716 well I think you should text him first sometimes, because he might wonder why you never text first.
STAY STRONG, IT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL ❤️

LDR with her is one of the best thing ever happened to me 🥰
me and my partner have been in a ldr for a year (one more month till it’s over!) and we have two scheduled face time “dates” each week and we always look forward to them so much. one thing we noticed is that we have had some really deep conversations and learned so much about each other’s thoughts and opinions on different things - and we really believe it would’ve taken double or even triple the time to have had some of the conversations we’ve had if we weren’t ldr.
when we weren’t ldr, we’d take shared time together more for granted, or we’d do stuff together or just make out lol. but being ldr, during these designated times together, we’d put our things down and just talk and listen each other. it’s helped us really learn more about each other and also given us space to grow individually. we’ve talked about emotional, political, spiritual, super personal topics, our aspirations, our goals, our fears, etc. with each other and i really dont think we would’ve reached this level of non-physical closeness w/o being in a ldr.
there is emotional/spiritual/intellectual intimacy that you can reach with a partner beyond just physical intimacy and i feel like people don’t really talk about that! i know physical intimacy has given me a false idea of how close i am with someone in the past, so it’s been a blessing to grow so intimately with someone in different ways and also have time to root myself in my community and friends (your community does not = your partner!!)
in so many ways, ldr has taught me patience, healthy boundaries, and a better understanding of love, and i am super thankful. this was SO long SORRY but i just wanted to say this bc i know ldrs aren’t easy, but they can be beautiful !
Update? 🙈

It make me feel inside and the last thing sometimes we really want each other but..... But I hope we all meet our better half soon.. ❣️
-Syril Sapiophile- I’m in like the exact same situation as you haha. if only I could tell my parents things would be 100 times easier.
Phoenix breeze I'm sure it'll work out for us both in the end. :)
I'm in the exact same situation 🤣 two months together, and he will come to me on summer...the only thing is that he lives in spain and i live in serbia, so the distance is relatively big
Katherine wishing y’all the best!!
-Syril Sapiophile- I hope it does!! wishing you the best!
18 months, I'm in high school and her parents are strict. Her parents don't wanna take the risk, but imma boutta break into her house and sneak her out at this point, she said she's down 😂
Nice lol. Good luck

Currently married to a marine. He’s in japan, and I’m in Michigan lol. Haven’t seen him in 6 months :( I’ll be moving there soon though 💖
Good Luck
japanese, marine... it all adds up, he's planning on saving the world
The communication and trust is very true. If there's ever an issue it's best to talk things out and communicate how you feel :)

TIPS
1-Always make time. I usually talk to her for most of the day and text for the other
2- Humor. Making someone laugh goes a long way
3- Talk with their family. This one was actually hard for me. Her family approach me first but it makes things easier
4- If you can go see them once a month.
💯
oh my gosh- I- just...
I just thought about this today...
Lia Baysal I thought about it and then the notification popped up.
i didn't really think about it, but it showed up on recomendations and i'm in a long distance relationship so, it was worth watching

Do u guys call eachother everyday to maintain commutation
how to deal with insecurities, im feeling really anxious and feeling like we are drifting but he is gettin on with work but im really anxious and insecure anyway and i feel like hes more focused on work and not me.
Thank You
Time to time i feel insecure about my relationship.
I love you Debbie!
