It was a great game but unfortunately the framerate and some of the controls were too ahead of their time for the input device they use. Aiming was super hard. This guy just makes it look easy!
in germany most of my friends that owned a N64 did skip Jet Force Gemini and also Body Harvest, 2 of the most underrated games of the N64 era if you ask me, im excited to watch this playthrough even if i just finished up my yearly n64 library playthrough. lets goooooo.
Thank you for making this video! I love you just play the game (extremely well if I might add ) and don’t have nonsense commentary. I definitely can’t wait to enjoy more of your videos
Éste juego es sin duda una obra maestra! La banda sonora, los gráficos, la trama, la jugabilidad, los modos de juego, las mecánicas, los personajes, los enemigos, los mundos, el armamento, etc... Heck yea, normally I'm against remakes because I think the video game industry has overdone it at this point but a JFG remake would be an exception because I can only imagine how the game would be with improved graphics, gameplay, controls and maybe even add voice acting too.
I remember another video someone explaining that it couldn't happen without drastically reducing the size of the levels\enemies. The budget to simply remaster the game would be too high of a risk for a game that originally didn't sell very well.
02:24:00 OMG that boss fight!! I remember as a kid never being able to kill that darn thing. Hearin those larvae exploding really brouht back some childhood trauma xD
I remember saving all my chore money as a kid to buy this game. I always let my friends play as the main characters just so I could be the drone and just lay waste blasting the alien ants heads off like a boss.
My grandma has this game! I mostly loved playing it since you could kill ants (and i hated ants back then) My grandma wants to play it but her N64 controller has the joycon rift problem (please correct me if I misspelled it), but she'll eventually buy an original n64 controller and possibly finish it. Very sad that the game is very underrated, i personally love the plot and how difficult/challenging it is, I'll be making lots of fanart of it, that's for sure.
18:24 That one place sure had a lot of bombs (mines) basically, booby traps. 21:59 I recall hearing this sound on the bigger drones, and it sounded like Chewbacca on helium 1:47:37- 1:55:42 There it is, that sound. 5:35:51 This background track gives me those "turning to the villain side" vibes.
Rare still probably does but at this point I’d wager it’s abandon ware now since Rare hasn’t touched it in so Long, even taking into account Rare replay. But Rare is so focused on Sea of thieves all of their IP’s have gone to the wayside; Banjo, Conker, Viva piñata, jet force Gemini, grabbed by the goolies.
KVZoneHD, ive been playing through the game for the first time and i'm in ICHOR with Vela. For some reason the chests don't light up and won't open. Is it because i don't have the blue key yet? Or do I need to go back and get tribals i missed? Of id it something else? Some walkthroughs say you open them up the first time you see them. Im confused. Lol.
I assume you are refering to 1:52:08 Well, I don't remember doing nothing out of the ordinary at all regarding the ammo chests. Furthermore, the Blue Keys are found by Vela at 8:10:57 (Eschebone - Thorax), and by Juno at 10:13:53 (Battle Cruiser). Both locations are found way deep into the game, which proves the Blue Keys have no effect on the ammo chests previously found along the way; AFAIK they only grant access to areas guarded by Blue Locks.
@@kvzone Yes that's the time stamp i'm refering to. I'm trying to figure out why the lights don't flash on the ammo chests and why i can't open them. it's a real puzzle.
The fact that the game forces us to visit previous parts of the game for the final progression completely killed me. This is something that cannot happen in progression video games, Revisiting zones has to be just an option.
Welcome to this full-game walkthrough of Rareware's interstellar classic “JET FORCE GEMINI”, directly recorded from an Ultra HDMI processor working over real N64 hardware.
If you enjoyed the video, you can support its content sharing it with your friends and family; we will greatly appreciate it :)

12:13:16 THANKS FOR WATCHING!
Good job!
Crazy underrated game. Tough as nails as well.
It was a great game but unfortunately the framerate and some of the controls were too ahead of their time for the input device they use. Aiming was super hard. This guy just makes it look easy!
As a kid this game was hard as fuck for me lol. I was hella scared of some levels
Man all of these years I'm still struggling lol
I'm stuck on Mizar on NSO currently. Bastard is tough
Instant sub for this. Just remembered this game and watching it now is like traveling back in time, such intense nostalgia
Much appreciated :)
Thanks 4 the awesome support there!
I love the fact that the game lets you collect the heads you shoot off the enemies
Until 300 heads you unlock 3 cheats. Nothing special or useful.
Rainbow blood is cool though@@psimbyosis8162
Hands down the most underrated game on 64. I would love a remake.
Right with some good co op and pvp
Well, we are in luck. Japan is getting the remake rn and we are supposed to get it sometime next year over this way i believe. LETS GO
Man I love this game so much, I play it every 2 years in summer again. It brings back so many childhood memories!
Holy jesus there was a lot more to this game than i ever thought.
Finally, after so many years, I'm back to play this game on the original console. Long live the Nintendo 64!
Thanks, finally i rescued all tribals 😅
Much appreciated. Really glad to know it helped :)
Jetforce gemini is underrated. Thank you for playing through it. You are awesome dude
Thanks! Much appreciated :)
First game I ever bought a strategy guide for #nostalgia
Yea I needed the guide for the boss you fight over the lava
in germany most of my friends that owned a N64 did skip Jet Force Gemini and also Body Harvest, 2 of the most underrated games of the N64 era if you ask me, im excited to watch this playthrough even if i just finished up my yearly n64 library playthrough. lets goooooo.
My child good relived, holy crap, thanks man!
here after Nintendo posted that this was coming to NSO :D
JET FORCE GEMINI, DK 64, Zelda, WaveRace, Mystical Ninja 1+2, 007, FIFA 98+99 this was my childhood
Thank you for making this video! I love you just play the game (extremely well if I might add ) and don’t have nonsense commentary. I definitely can’t wait to enjoy more of your videos
Really appreciate it :) Thanks!
Rare + N64 = ❤️🔥
That game was just awesome...Memorys of my childhood.
Juno, Vela, Lupus, best party members ever!
Played this one quite a lot as a kid. Looks like it could be right at home within the "No Man's Sky" universe
combined with Mass Effect
This is solid footage. Like if i was playing it. Great video dude :')
OMG!!!! The MEMORIES! THE MEMORIES!!!!!! 😂😅
Man the music alone after not hearing it for 20+years!
I feel the same
this one deserve remaster/remake

@@popculturejunkie395 i hear you... I never was a fan of aiming/shooting with the n64 pad in this game. Would love for m&k in a remaster.

Heeeey haha we never got to the end. Now I know why. Thanks buddy
it surprises me that you still replied lot of commentaries, love this game
This game still looks like a ton of fun to play🎮
Indeed it is :)
Microsoft needs to remake Rare's IPs for sure, a modern versions of JFG would be a banger :)
This game was a ton of fun. That mantis boss though.
I never got passed him
02:24:00
OMG that boss fight!! I remember as a kid never being able to kill that darn thing.
Hearin those larvae exploding really brouht back some childhood trauma xD
i hated them. they were the main reason i got stuck
Heres to a great 2025 incoming!!!
I remember saving all my chore money as a kid to buy this game. I always let my friends play as the main characters just so I could be the drone and just lay waste blasting the alien ants heads off like a boss.
Bra this game gave me ptsd when I was a kid

I hope nintedo add this game to the nintendo switch online expansion pack
el soundtrack está genial
Es lo mejor del juego
One of the best Nintendo 64 games, I wish they would release several ROM hacks of this amazing game.
Complete In 100%!
Rescue All Friends!
Do Not Kill All Friends!

Lástima que no hicieron otras versiones o por lo menos haya visto, este juego también me agradó cuando lo jugué de niño
I wonder who owns the rights to this game now since I would love to see a remake of this game

This game is pretty good 👍. It's also pretty challenging
Back when I could easily comprehend complex game mechanics, but still couldn't read. :,)
I think this should become available to play on the switch
Imagine if this had upgraded graphics and was remade 😭
Excelente super juego! 🌆🌌🚀🪐

Gotta love how the ants sound like squealing pigs when they die
My childhood ya feel me
Its look like dreamcast graphics 😮
3:23:18
Is this a 100% playthrough?
Wow I remember this game...shame I never finished it...I could never get passed the ship level...place was like a maze...could not figure it out
This is the less rare-looking rare game i've never seen

Love gameeee😮
Before star fox adventures there was….Jetforce
I had this but I couldn't have the earplugs for the Alien!!
After 20 years i hear dat birds in my dieams 4:20
this game makes ya feel like a starship trooper . only difference is you kill giant ants and beetles and buzzy bees.
Amazing game but hard as fuck
I loves that game but bosses, were too hard.
oh yes!! I loved that game too but, really, bosses were hard too much, and it ruined my pleasure at the time.
