@@kvzoneDo you record SNES games (don't know if you ever did any, though) with the same filter (don't know if you do that on purpose, though) as your N64 footage? The way you record those feels like how those games are meant to look. And if you'd do the Donkey Kong Land games, the most optimal way to do those would be on the Super Game Boy.
One of best games ever! This is my entire childhood, how much I desire this to have a comeback remake! Thanks for uploading this, I will have to play it once again
Thanks for helping me relive my childhood. Did anyone else have trouble beating the game because of levels 3 and 4? They just seemed so depressing to me and one right after the other. seems like they should have put fungi Forest between those two lighten the mood
This game was so all the rage back in its heydays. We got it for Christmas my brother and I back when it was all new and we enjoyed it immensely with Dad. The N64 era was an incredible time.
It still is a real shame Wrinkly Kong had passed away, but at least her spirit was lingering to help DK and 5 other Kongs throughout this latest journey!!!!😌🙏
Man this game was everything back in the day, so many hrs spent playing this. I got it for Xmas the yr it came out but my dad was also a gamer and a DK fan so of course I didn't get to play it all the time at first lol he got me the game guide for it and he beat the whole game 101% I think it took him almost 6 damn months to beat it lol this game was long as hell with all the backtracking but this is when you spent good time on games instead of just beating it in 4 or 5 hrs then you never return to it
Me too I'm selling my ps2 so I can get one. I know the ps2 is one of the best consoles of all time but I feel like I'll be happy with the n64. Besides my ps2 fat can't play certain discs anymore the ps2 will all ways have a special place in my heart, ive had it since at least 2012. This game though will right away be the first game i get for the n64 in getting.
Appreciate it :) Thanks for passing by there 😀 Yeah, sorry about that part; the analog stick was like 40% dead zone, totally lacking precision. Has been replaced with a Tribute64 for the upcoming series though :)
One of the many games I hate that I was NEVER able to finish it. Partly cause as a kid I just went around and did stuff, never really focused on the "Oh game wants me to go this way". Also couldn't beat cause of that DAMN JACK-IN-THE-BOX!!!!
I played this on the WII U so i didn't get the same experience as kids in '99, but god dam were they lucky cuz even as a little 6(?) year old, i went absolutely nuts whenever i could play this, still hate the fairies
The armored-dillo is easy, just make sure to hit him with the tnt barrel on the nose every time. All the schematics you see those big crocodiles have are colored, blue is for lanky, red is for Diddy Kong, yellow is for donkey Kong, green is for chunky Kong, and purple is for Tiny. Same thing with the medallions and bananas. I pretty much unlocked everything on this game except for the rareware coin.
Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie were excellent. But they did not come close to DK64's sheer amount of quality. Banjo Tooie came close to that, but it lacked a lot of content that DK64 had. That being said, though, Rareware was at its golden age during the SNES and N64 eras. The games they have developed back then were all excellent.

Do you think you can do this with the Donkey Kong Country (and Land) games?
@@darobster5520 That would be a truly awesome project indeed :)

This is easily one of my most favorite Nintendo 64 games of all time!
I remember finding many elements of this game creepy as a kid . . . looking back I wasn't wrong! 42:16
Big time! same vibes for me 😂
The fairy isle appearance fueled my nightmares for the rest of my childhood

The DK Rap was played when Donkey Kong made an appearance in the most recent Super Mario Bros. movie!!!!!🤣

That one is the worst part. If you get touched by those jumping whatchamacallits you’re dead
You're really good at this game
Much appreciated, DK64 rocks :)

I can't wait I'm going to get a n64 so I can play games like this

Thats why ebay exists.
It says a lot about that spinning ice maze when that's the only part you had real difficulty with...

The nightmare of keyboard players...

The collectathon of collectathons
This game was legitimately hard at times
I totally agree, games were so hard back then.

Never beat this game I got stuck on the 4th world and couldn’t beat that rabbit and couldn’t find anymore big bananas

banjo is the superior rare title
Ok thats your opinion i think I'll like this better however since it looks cool to me. But i really like banjo kazooie.

What can you do with those pieces of cheese ??
Did you play this on a 64 or an emulator?
It's been played on a real N64 with an HDMI mod 😀
@@kvzone Nice!
