As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement ruclips.net/user/postUgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!
Love this ! Always remember to paint the top and bottom of any door (interior or exterior). Reason one is for moisture/humidity and reason two is to help form a barrier for termites. Raw door edges tend to draw moisture and cause warping or swelling.
I've worked in a door shop for over two years now and one thing that will help in the future is to caulk around the glass. From what it looked like you got an ODL brand or sister brand and the seal between the door and the frame (the little black foam pad on the insert) isn't the best so just running a little bit of caulking around will help with that.
I did this to my front door a couple of years ago and it came out great! Added much needed light to my living room!

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.

After thinking thru why he was so confident I finally realized, they already have that huge sidelight window right next to it that somebody could easily come through. So,,, he technically didn’t those any safety ;)

There's glass around the door already, adding glass to the door itself doesn't add any additional vulnerability. A good security system is probably already in place.

Hi John. The glass is actually double paned tempered glass (like windshield glass) not window glass which is annealed glass.

I wish you would have done this about 1 month ago, LOL!!!! I like the short cut with the circular saw, that would've helped a bit. I installed the high impact glass which was pretty heavy to say the least. I love the way it came out. You inspire me to try all kinds of projects, keep it up please!!!

I bought a door with a glass insert in the middle..love it...that looked easy to do, great job! We have a security heavy metal screen door though, so it kinda defeats having a nice pretty door, oh well. Safety first, right?!

I have a full view insert in my door, installed by Zabitat. These glass inserts are either double or triple pane (if decorative glass), 1” thick, and the glass is tempered. If people want to break into your home, they have better chance by breaking your regular windows than with this door glass. Zabitat has a large selection of inserts from a privacy level of 1, which is clear glass, to a level of privacy of 9, which means people can’t look inside. They also offer Severe Weather glass, for areas with tornadoes and hurricane winds. Their website is very educating.

That’s an incredible transformation to your entry! Love the check-in for the color 😊. Comparative to the big box stores the cost is a fraction, not to mention the number of options to pick from and install time is wayyyy less that replacing the door and jamb.

That glass insert is a little over 200 and a door with that much glass is probably around 600.
Depends. Just replaced my front door, today actually. It only has glass in the upper third of the door but came prehung in the jamb and everything for just over 300 including knob and deadbolt set
