I have the Akrapovic high mount full titanium system. It looks stunning and my XSR now sounds like a bike. The original system looks agricultural in comparison.
I have the xsr700 black high-mount akra. Is it possible to remove the db-killer on that? Please if you can provide information on this I would be greatful.
I have this exhaust installed on my bike. Do you have any tutorial or how to remove the db killer on this exhaust? Please help me, coz the sound and performance is the same with stock exhaust.
We unfortunately do not, however you can likely reach out to Akra with your exhaust make/model and they might be able to give you specific instructions. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or CS@revzilla.com. Ride safe, -Pat
It depends on the fender eliminator. If the fender eliminator keeps the signals in the same location or switches to smaller/narrower signals, you should be ok. Otherwise, yes, there could be some interference. -DrewZilla
I really don't know what to say about that exhaust. I'm not sure why it exists. I've seen pics of a "regular" low, side mounted exhaust on the XSR900. if Akra wanted to do something different, they could have done one of those. I wish you guys had done the carbon or Ti.
Drop the CAT? Just test it yourself before you talk nonsense, the Akrapovic Titanium for example runs like poo without cat. It is designed to build up back pressure at that point of the exhaust traject, producing the wind vortex it needs to speed up the streaming (The right back pressure trough the hole rpm-range is the main function of an exhaust). I have tested with cat, without cat, with cat again and your bike is much much more responsive and torquey AND sounds better WITH CAT. It will be a different story to most cars and big V-Twins, because they build up much more power already from idle. Then the cat will often be substandard. And even then, a race-cat can produce better wide spread power than none.
Catalytic converters are not meant to create back pressure. They typically only add 1-2 psi of pressure in the system. In fact, engines needing back pressure is a myth from the 1960's and 70's
all exhaust videos should have a soundclip!
I cant see why anyone on earth would like this better then the underbelly exhaust. Putting this thing on ruins the lines of the tail section for me.
Yeah its ugly as shit.
+sacredgeometry well said .. that thing is fugly
If the bike came with tail exhaust stock, they would be making an underbelly kit instead.
Yup
😂 I bought this and now I’m regretting picking it up from shop. It was on sale for 900! vs 1200 I thought I was getting a unique exhaust and deal!
If you own one of these bikes definitely buy one, Akrapovic are a great product.

So how hard is it to put on a full system? I'm a bit wary of fucking with those header pipes...
Do you have reviews akrapovic fullsytem for cb650r??
I've been saying their name wrong for sooo long!
i was always saying akra-po-vick haha
Now if only people would say Dunlop instead of Dunlap! -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla Thanks for the reply, you guys awesome
Did you ever figure out how? I’m on the same boat right now
As far a style/aesthetics think scrambler or flat tracker rather than 2000’s under tail super bikes.
IMO, that exhaust is ugly. The titanium akra though is another story. :)
will that even work with a fender eliminator? looks like you turn signals would definatly not have anyroom

People use "kinda" way too much. Is it or isn't it? Commit!
