We only have products for bikes sold here in the United States, and since the CBR150R isn't offered here, we don't have any parts for it. I apologize for any inconvenience. To answer your question, though, I really like the Akrapovic Racing Line Exhaust for your bike. You will need to find a local distributor for Akrapovic in your country. -DrewZilla

Do twisted exhaust sound raspy then normal straight 4-2-1. I have also heard that x-shaped exhausts are louder have more bass n r raspy. I m planning to buy full evo akra system for my 10r n buy an x-pipe between 2-1 linkage with BMC air filter and power comm. Will it sound nice and raspy.. Will a bit of twisting n that X help???? I want a character rich sound.. Like an MV
+Omkar Khamkar Having a lot of bends in a pipe doesn't necessarily make it sound more raspy. It's really much more complex, so there isn't a nice, simple answer. A bit of twisting X really won't help you in my opinion. Kawasaki and Akrapovič spent a lot of money developing their ZX-10R exhaust, so the 4-2-1 is really ideal for the best power, weight reduction, and sound. -DrewZilla
You don’t have to have a beard to wrench, and you definitely don’t have to be a man either! For some background, here’s Lemmy’s account of the history of the BSD: _“I love telling the story of it. I was sitting around the airport with some colleagues - among them were two of the co-founders of RevZilla. We were trying to come up with some way of quantifying how difficult something was, so I suggested how many BEERS it takes to get through a job. I was misheard, and it became BEARDS, which was funny because Mike C., one of our H-D geniuses, was present, and he has a wizard-esque beard. He laughed and liked it, and believe it or not, the outline of the guy you see in the graphic is actually the outline of Mike's head!”_ Hope this helps! -DrewZilla

Hey RevZilla, I've got a 2017 ktm 690 duke R that came standard with a akra exhaust, my question is the DB killer is spot welded (with a anti tamper screw) into the slip on exhaust. Is there a trick to removing this screw on the db killer? Or any reason why they don't allow you to remove the DVD killer? I would like to get a bit more sound from my exhaust
Lemmy you are giving akra credits for being the best and cant recommend them enough in this video, is that also the case for harleys. and especially the iron 883 in my case since you have some good words to say about Vance & Hines. wich of the brands gives the best iconic deep harley sound on a iron 883. thanks and keep up the videos! ;P
On a Harley, most people would find the Vance & Hines sound more recognizable, but I find the Akrapovic slip-ons sound "sportier", i.e. they seem to have a smoother revving sound. The Akrapovic full exhaust for the Sportster sounds is pretty loud and burbly. Look up "Sportster Akrapovic" on RUclips to hear others' clips and hear what I mean. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-slip-on-slash-cut-mufflers-for-harley *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-open-line-2-into-2-exhaust-system-for-harley
thanks allot for the advice, i can hear what you mean with the akra being more smooth. personally do think that the vance and hines might be more my thing. thanks and keep it up lemmy
I am wondering something I hope you can help clear up. I heard that most aftermarket exhausts do not meet CA emissions standards. There are rumors floating around that because of that they might make motorcycles start doing emissions tests. Have you heard anything about this and can you comment on it?
Because states have different requirements (and some don't even require periodic inspections), your best bet is to get an answer from your local police department, inspection station, state department of motor vehicles or motorcycle shop. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/common-tread/motorcycle-exhaust-101
I own an r6 and as of now I'm looking to get a slip on and ultimately make it full system later. Can I get the gp slipon titanium slipon and then later replace my stock headers keeping the slipon?
Yes, if you get the GP slip-on, you'd get the specific headers designed to work with a slip-on (since other full system exhausts use different pipe diameters). -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-exhaust-header-yamaha-r6-2008-2018
The easiest option is with a Power Commander, though you don't necessarily need to re-tune the bike with just a slip-on. To re-tune the stock ECU, you would need to find a shop that can dyno tune and re-flash your bike. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/PowerCommander_FZ-10_akra
No, slip-on exhausts are almost always bike-specific. There are some 'universal fit' exhausts, but they aren't guaranteed to fit any bike. These are generally chosen by custom bike builders who don't mind fabricating or modifying parts to make things fit. -DrewZilla
Is the dB killer of this exhaust removable like Remus HexaCone Slip-On Exhaust? I have a 2016 BMW F800R. When you compare this exhaust and Remus HexaCone Slip-On Exhaust, which one do you recommend in terms of power increase and sound? I am waiting for your response, accordingly I will buy one of them. TIA
Yes, the noise insert is removable, but there may be a tack weld holding it in place. In terms of sound and power, they're honestly almost the same. The Remus is a little less expensive, and its noise insert is easier to remove, so I might recommend Remus for you in this instance. -DrewZilla
For the Akrapovic Slip-On and full system Racing Exhaust, fuel remapping is not required. For optimal performance, though, we recommend using a fuel controller (such as a Power Commander). -DrewZilla (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-slip-on-exhaust-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015) (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-racing-exhaust-system-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015) (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dynojet-power-commander-v-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015)
hello, is there a Universal Slip-On Muffler for 2019 Honda CB650r? its a new bike and I cant see any, is there a muffler that has a reputable good brand that can be installed for CB650r?
There is no universal slip-on for that bike. Bikes like that require model-specific slip-ons, and we expect that it will be a few months before anything is available. -DrewZilla
Can someone please help me, i need a Akropovic for Suzuki Gixxer Sf250, its a single cylinder sports bike. I am not sure which one will go the best for it.

i'm gonna turn 14 in 1 year from april. in my state, i am allowed to ride a motorcycle under 250cc with a permit and a helmet. my dad said he'll think about it. i was thinking of a ninja 250. is it a good choice? i just hope i can. probably not tho
which exhaust would be giving good "sound" as well as performance for my KTM RC390 ? i want something roaring and smooth..! i dun mind if its not akrapovic either .
+Guntas Singh Sahni The Akrapovic from your KTM dealer is the best option for most people. If you want to go all-out, consider the Yoshimura RS-9 Race Exhaust! -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/yoshimura-rs-9-race-exhaust-system-ktm-rc390-2015
Not really. To clarify, though, Akrapovic designs their slip-ons to work with stock fuel mapping, and generally, slip-ons are mostly about weight savings and better sound, not so much about power increases. So from your perspective, you can install an Akrapovic slip-on to save weight, get better sound, and maybe add a tiny bit of power all without having to change your fuel map. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
Awesome! Thank you so much for the reply. :) One last thing, what Akrapovic slip on can you suggest on a TVS Apache RTR 200? I am totally digging the one shown in 1:38. :))

No, if you have a full Akrapovic exhaust, you cannot change the end can, as the diameter of the junction with the header is different than the stock header diameter. -DrewZilla

Hi RevZilla, if I'm just replacing the mid Y-pipe and the slip-on from my R1, will I need to buy a power commander as well? My primary motivation on grabbing these is because I want to get rid of the excessive heat that is produced by the catalytic converter, while making the bike sound better as well. Do you guys have any input or suggestion on this? Thanks!
+leo liem If you replace the catalytic converter with a Y-pipe, you will be increasing the airflow enough such that you probably want to use a Power Commander to correct the air-fuel ratio. -DrewZilla

My buddy has a Akra carbon on his and it looks and sounds great! I've heard a yoshi in person and I personally don't like the looks and sounds. I have the M4 slip on and I sound awesome! I prefer the M4 sounds over the other 2 that I've heard in person but that's my opinion.
M4 seems like a winner, I prefer a really glow growl sound, Its personally my favorite bike sound. In video i would have just went with the yoshi because I never heard any of these in person and IMO it looked / sounded the best. No baffle of course
We're based in the US, and Benellis aren't sold here, so we don't have any parts or exhausts for Benellis. I apologize for any inconvenience. -DrewZilla

-DrewZilla

Need your help please Which slip on is the loudest for suzuki gsx-s1000 2016? And which one is the deepest? Thank you
The Akrapovic slip-on for your bike has a nice deep sounds, but it's not overly loud. The loudest option we carry is probably the Hotbodies or the Two Brothers.

-DrewZilla
9:19 i like this one 😍😍😍
name of the model,Comment please???
Quick question. If i dont have a Beard am I still able to put this exhaust on?? Or should i wait a few years then try??
You don’t have to have a beard to wrench, and you definitely don’t have to be a man either! For some background, here’s Lemmy’s account of the history of the BSD: _“I love telling the story of it. I was sitting around the airport with some colleagues - among them were two of the co-founders of RevZilla. We were trying to come up with some way of quantifying how difficult something was, so I suggested how many BEERS it takes to get through a job. I was misheard, and it became BEARDS, which was funny because Mike C., one of our H-D geniuses, was present, and he has a wizard-esque beard. He laughed and liked it, and believe it or not, the outline of the guy you see in the graphic is actually the outline of Mike's head!”_
Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
hi, just wanted to ask, would an Akrapovic gp slip on fit a honda cbr 250r 2013 ? thank you very much for your answer

It's welded in for liability reasons. Breaking the weld and removing the sound insert voids the warranty. -DrewZilla
-DrewZilla

thanks allot for the advice, i can hear what you mean with the akra being more smooth. personally do think that the vance and hines might be more my thing. thanks and keep it up lemmy
-DrewZilla

-DrewZilla

What will be a good exhaust for a 2018 Yamaha zuma for performance!
Unfortunately, we don't have any aftermarket exhausts for the Zuma. -DrewZilla
Why doesn't anyone make ceramic exhausts?
Do you have to buy a power commander or can you tune it with the computer that's already on the Yamaha FZ10?
The easiest option is with a Power Commander, though you don't necessarily need to re-tune the bike with just a slip-on. To re-tune the stock ECU, you would need to find a shop that can dyno tune and re-flash your bike. -DrewZilla
*bit.ly/PowerCommander_FZ-10_akra
I'm thinking of getting a GP exhaust for my bike...do all slip ons fit all bikes? Because my bike is a Taiwanese branded bike
No, slip-on exhausts are almost always bike-specific. There are some 'universal fit' exhausts, but they aren't guaranteed to fit any bike. These are generally chosen by custom bike builders who don't mind fabricating or modifying parts to make things fit. -DrewZilla
@@RevZilla thanks so much for the help
What kind of stainless steel Akrapovic uses? 304?
And what kind of wool does it have as a sound muffler?
Akrapovic keeps that information confidential. -DrewZilla
RevZilla What a shame :[
But thanks for the answer. Loved your video :D
Meta-aramid fibre, not wool.
-DrewZilla
RevZilla , thank you very much. Your reply helped me to decide.
what's best for a 2015 ZX14?... Is it needed a power commander or a special fine tuning device?... appreciate your comment
For the Akrapovic Slip-On and full system Racing Exhaust, fuel remapping is not required. For optimal performance, though, we recommend using a fuel controller (such as a Power Commander). -DrewZilla (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-slip-on-exhaust-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015) (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/akrapovic-racing-exhaust-system-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015) (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dynojet-power-commander-v-kawasaki-zx14r-2012-2015)

hello, is there a Universal Slip-On Muffler for 2019 Honda CB650r? its a new bike and I cant see any, is there a muffler that has a reputable good brand that can be installed for CB650r?
There is no universal slip-on for that bike. Bikes like that require model-specific slip-ons, and we expect that it will be a few months before anything is available. -DrewZilla

Sorry for such a newbie question but are there slip ons on akra that do not affect performace? I just want my exhaust to sound good. :(
-DrewZilla
